I think when you live alone and don't have a partner, it's easy to just do what you want and not many people tell you to slow down. He did say friends did years ago but most will surround themselves with people who indulge the same way. He always seems mystified when people like myself, who don't drink much are on his show and don't smoke etc. He talks about his stringent diet, no fun foods except chips for munchies but fills his body with alcohol and his lungs with smoke. With all he has, the acres of land, money, black book, he seems lonely to me. I don't know why but he does and I don't know if at 66 you can learn to have one relationship but it's his life and I hope he stays well.

Kristen Houten Kardashian Jenner was urged to marry well by her mummy and become one of those Ladies Who Lunch in Beverly Hills, Brentwood and Bel Air, preferably. And, that is exactly what she did. Kristen strategised. She was cagey, and clever. She had her eyes on the prize on down the road, and she never lost sight of her goal, seems to me.

I wasn't initially that interested in listening this week because I don't watch the Kardashian show, but I thought I'd at least give her a chance. I was somewhat surprised and I'm glad that I made the effort. It wasn't the most thought provoking and illuminating conversation, but it doesn't have to be. It was a good conversation between 2 people that like each other and that's sometimes all you need to be entertained.
Yet Kris knew nothing about him. I feel like he is well known for being a bachelor and not liking kids. She could’ve at least made a little effort to brush up on who she was meeting with.
Oh I just loved this show with you and Kris...thoroughly enjoyed. The interaction between the two of you was intriguing and funny. And Bill...I am not enamored with kids either probably because my Mom had eight and I was the oldest!! Diapers and bottles since I was seven. I am enjoying my life "kid free"!!!!! This is probably my least favorite Club random so far. Most the time it comes across as a genuine conversation this came across as guarded and not genuine basically the entire time. Bill was fine bill was himself Kris Jenner doesn't have an unguarded side.

Bill has the greatest variety of guests with prominence. This was the most lackluster one so far. Not his fault, and I don’t blame him for bringing her on, but you could tell Kris was on a different page because they live in different worlds. He always tries to find common ground but it is quite apparent that there is very little here. But the great thing about podcasts is there is always the next one.
Why? Why interview the momager of the Kardashians? Because she is worth billions? Because she represents the widening & immoral gap between the wealthy & middle class/working poor? What makes the Kardashians more valuable than others such as nurses or teachers … billions more? Once again, I am coming away impressed. This is another guest whom I was not thrilled about, but I ended up being pleasantly surprised by how intelligent and well-spoken she is. I can totally see why he wanted to talk with her.

A lot of people judge the Kardashians without ever even watching their show or getting to know them as humans. They aren't perfect but they are human, they work hard, have a strong family and are actually hilarious.

I wasn't initially that interested in listening this week because I don't watch the Kardashian show, but I thought I'd at least give her a chance. I was somewhat surprised and I'm glad that I made the effort. It wasn't the most thought provoking and illuminating conversation, but it doesn't have to be. It was a good conversation between 2 people that like each other and that's sometimes all you need to be entertained.
Yet Kris knew nothing about him. I feel like he is well known for being a bachelor and not liking kids. She could’ve at least made a little effort to brush up on who she was meeting with.

This is probably my least favorite Club random so far. Most the time it comes across as a genuine conversation this came across as guarded and not genuine basically the entire time. Bill was fine bill was himself Kris Jenner doesn't have an unguarded side.

Bill has the greatest variety of guests with prominence. This was the most lackluster one so far. Not his fault, and I don’t blame him for bringing her on, but you could tell Kris was on a different page because they live in different worlds. He always tries to find common ground but it is quite apparent that there is very little here. But the great thing about podcasts is there is always the next one.
Maybe next time he can bring Ron Jeremy or Martin Shkreli or Kanye or Alex Jones, all in the name of variety!

@@BigBadJerryRogers Alcoholics usually aren't good judges of themselves. You can be a working alcoholic but if you can't stop for a week or two, you have a problem. He's cut down and had friends mention to him how bad it got in the past, but never cut it out.
