However, you could tell he relaxed and just got comfy. It became much better to watch and both gelled. Glad to see both got along.
Theo, the best thing about your podcast is that you talk about your childhood and get your guests to open up about theirs. Ultimately that’s what makes us all who we are so it’s extremely fascinating. To look back and be able to find a way to connect and laugh about our growing pains is what it’s all about, to me. 💛💛💛
theo sadly didn't experience any maternal love. my guess is that he was an unexpected child and was treated as such til his formative years. I dont' think his mother ever loved him. tolerated him sure. maybe she loves him now thats hes rich and famous though. thus his problems with relationships with women.

Happening to everyone...and unfortunately doesn't look like there's an end in sight. Nobody influential enough cares enough. They were never particularly good at detoxing people off of heroin. Fent is a whole new kind of beast, but only the most wealthy can access good detox options. It's even worse that in addition to all the addiction we have innocents, babies even, dying from accidental exposure. Whoever is responsible for this, and I think it's been a combination of ppl and things but they are succeeding at killing more Americans than any evil terrorist could dream of. It's heartbreaking, really fkn guts me to the core with what the surviving families go through. Where are the protests demanding change? So many parents have lost children, so many children have lost parents and nobody cares...it's tragic. My heart goes out to Dana, I just hate knowing over 150 families go through this EVERY day. It's really fkn heartbreaking 😢
As a Louisiana resident (H-town), I relate with Theo and his childhood a lot, that being said, I enjoy how he brings out the origin of others personalities and then compounds on the similarities and differences. Theo is relatable because he shows genuine interest within the confounds of his own humor. Always good content. God bless this double edged sword we call the internet!

Their conversation about shoplifting was my high school experience. I got hooked on it. When Theo said "Ocean's 11," I thought "Yep. That's exactly what I was imagining while I was stealing stuff." I got caught and humbled thankfully.
Dana Carvey...one of the most naturally funny people to ever live. He's just funny without even trying. The other two I can think of are Martin Short and Jim Carrey
I just love Theo's work. His honesty is so refreshing. not afraid at all to just blurt the truth out no matter what anyone may think of it. His childhood reminds me of my own so very often!
I replayed that about 10 times, the unbridled thrill that fills Dana when Theo opens the door to do the Japanese accent, like he could not wait to reciprocate that after he initially was worried what he was doing could be “offensive” 😅 such a pure moment of comedy

Theo seems concerned for our culture, and I share that sentiment. Obviously when guys like Dana were in their prime it was like a golden age in America for things like comedy and music.. everything. It was like one big party that lasted decades, now it seems like the party's over. I think its important to keep trying to have fun and be creative. To have an imagination. Its not just important, there's nothing more important. We've got to keep good vibes alive, and bring them back.
