We were lucky to be at his 3rd D-Day concert in Newark. One of the best experiences of my life. Jimin came to support him, so we got 2 members. Jimin did not perform, but was in the audience. Never forget it. Good reaction.💜
It's so sweet that, even though Yoongi is so very introverted, it didn't seem to even occur to him to talk about going on a vacation alone. It would be totally understandable because BTS is still his co-workers aside from being his friends and family too. So no one would fault him for wanting to go on vacation and be totally away from anything or anyone that reminded him of work so he could get some alone time to rest and recharge. Yet his first thought was about how he could go with all of his found family to have fun on vacation together and make music in between. It's a little hiliarous that he's still thinking about working when answering a question about vacations though. He just loves music too much to consider resting without it. Even on In The Soop he brought his equipment to make music while they had just a few days off to rest and have fun. Our Yoongi just can't be separated from music.

I watched this after watching today’s Suchwita with El Capitxn and of course I cried watching both. I’m so happy Yoongi has people like Joon, the members and Yijeong in his life. We should all be so lucky!! And yeah, it’s so hard living in the moment, I struggle with this too. But the more I embrace loving myself the more I tend to try not to relive the past or be fearful of the future. I’m really enjoying ure journey with BTS, thank u for taking us with u! Since his other stage name officially debuted as agustd not with mixtape but an actual album....if you see yoongi has listeners with his two stage names in spotify and other digital platforms. If people who doesn't know they will certainly think they are two different artists. AGUSTD and other bts memebers broke many records as debut soloist.. so they are jokingly saying they are 4th gen who just solo debuted. Also, in 2022, SUGA produced and was featured in PSY’s ‘That That.’ Cannot wait for you to see it. He initially was supposed to only produced it, but slick PSY got him to feature and dance in the MV. PSY’s interview about how it came together is so hilarious. There are two behind the scenes videos of the making of ‘That That,’ and a surprised LIVE performance of SUGA at one of PSY’s shows. PSY’s tweets about his new album and the surprised title track ‘That That’ captivated Armys. First he had a blank. Then he tweeted the name of the track, then next day or so, he tweeted Produced by SUGA, then the next day, Produced and feat SUGA. Drove everyone on Twitter crazy. The whole ‘That That’ experience was SO MUCH fun.

As I was watching this video, Suchwita came on, with El Capitxn as the guest, Suga's long-time co-producer and friend, who is also the producer of "Daechwita" and "Amygdala" (Agust D and Haegeum are all Suga's work). Since their lives and careers are so intertwined, it feels like the episode is about both of them, not just about El Capitxn. I encourage you to watch it. It's such a good episode! But it was the last episode for this first season, so I sobbed for about a minute after it ended, before I resumed watching this video.

I love this episode. It was so wholesome watching my first bias who lead me into BTS (Yoongi) and my current bias (Namjoon) who I felt a kinship to as we shared so many similarities. This episode as well as the 1st episode are two of my faves because I have an extra special soft spot for these two. All of the members' episodes are amazing though. I think these two balance out the hierarchy in such an interesting way since Yoongi is older but RM is the leader so you can see that sometimes one will defer to the other and then it'll be the other way around depending on the situation and what role they're in. They used to have a issues in the beginning because of this but they've settled into their dynamic so well over the years. Now they won't shut up about how long they've known each other lol. It's a running joke that Yoongi especially just compulsively has to mention how many years he's known Namjoon so that no one ever forgets it.
I think I’ve mentioned it on another thread somewhere, but the live versions of Dear My Friend, Snooze and Amydala from his last concert in Seoul are a must see. You will definitely need tissues 😢, the raw emotion you see, I’ve never seen anything like it and, yes, I cried 💜💜
One of my reason why i love BTS so much is because they care so much about each other. No jealousy and envy, they always supporting each other. They are proud of the achievements of each member. and they don't forget the Army either, when they say something to the army, they will fulfill what they said, like they will return fully in 2025. When they said that, they signed a contract again before their enlistment. When I heard that news, I'm really happy! 😊 Btw Can you react "Life goes on" by Agust D it's like a different version of BTS' life goes on. That’s my lesson for life, just always remember to come back to the lighter places that still exist even when I feel everything is dark. There’s always a lighter place waiting for me. It’s exhausting and hard sometimes. But life’s worth it 💜
i always laugh at your reaction when butter is mentioned ahaha. even tho i never listened to music like butter before, it was actually the second song i checked out from them and they somehow made it cool? also, my suggestions to ease yourself into it are to watch other versions of it first or stuff like that. trust me, with all 3 english tracks it doesnt feel and it surely isnt without a reason. i never thought i would enjoy pop music like that before, but its because of their sincerity and their hard work that it feels different. dynamite is so iconic, and there are so many stages they did for it. you cant help but feel good listening to it. its the perfect pop song in my opinion. with butter, since you seem to have trouble with it a lot, i suggest you watch the hotter remix version, it has a very funny mv of just the members fooling around in front of the camera basically (maybe check out the video with "things you didnt notice in bts butter hotter remix" after too), theres the "butter in karaoke" (must watch the bangtan bomb of it too, is hilarious), their grammy performance of butter is the coolest grammy performance in my opinion, its sooo good, youll see the reason for releasing this song if you watch it. this era is iconic honestly. I can't imagine a better song for a grammy performance. for permission to dance, i dont think you have a problem with that one too, but still, i loved it so much more after i saw their performance of it at the UN. again, the perfect song for the occasion honestly. context is always crucial for bts' work. i get it. i get why these songs, at those times. not only are they bright and make u smile, but they allowed them to do iconic and important things. honestly, i can only praise them and their company for their smart choices. dynamite was the perfect song for the world in the middle of 2020, the perfect song to make you happy and to make you feel hope. no pressure tho, youll check it out when youll feel like it. also, its so true they find you when you need them the most. they saved my life honestly. i was always a negative person but i changed so much since i became an army, and they still help me everyday with their words. i hope theyll offer the same comfort to you as well💜
With Dynamite i have no problem. It’s not a song that I would chose to listen, but if it plays it’s fine. Permission to dance i am still to see. I do not know it yet. With Butter it was overplayed to an extent that I got to have physical reactions to. It happens the same with Stray Kids “All in” (i had to delete it from my album cause i cannot listen to it). And also All I want for Christmas by Mariah. My skin boils when that is on. I have sound sensitivity, which I think is a mental issue. Since I was little i been having problems with certain sounds or songs. I know how to distract myself into not reacting badly, but it’s still a struggle. I will give Butter a go, but I still need time. 💜 For me the 3 English songs do not have the same impact as for older Armys, as I was not an Army when they came out. I have no problem with them being in English. Butter can be in Russian, and I would feel the same because it’s about the music, not the lyrics. At the beginning I thought it was by One Direction 😂 I had no idea who was by. So BTS are not the reason for my dislike of Butter.

I do not contest the song’s success. I also do not like Michael Jackson’s music at all, but I will always respect his work and I will always command his talent. It’s just not my preference. We all have preferences when it comes to music. Butter is not my type of sound. If you like it, I am happy. But I am allowed to like what I like and dislike what I dislike. It’s not only with Butter. I have many songs that make me react this way. Even if I am a Stay (Stray Kids fan) there is a song from them that I cannot listen to (“All in” is the song’s title). All I want for Christmas is you is another example. I cannot physically listen to it. It makes my skin react. It’s just me.
I wouldn’t have gotten through the pandemic if it wasn’t for BTS, living in NYC and having so much anxiety. Them working so hard really got me through it. I understand that Butter or the other English songs are not everyone’s preference. But they did it for us because they knew we were all going to a tough time..I really enjoyed the Butter era 💜

That’s my lesson for life, just always remember to come back to the lighter places that still exist even when I feel everything is dark. There’s always a lighter place waiting for me.

i always laugh at your reaction when butter is mentioned ahaha. even tho i never listened to music like butter before, it was actually the second song i checked out from them and they somehow made it cool? also, my suggestions to ease yourself into it are to watch other versions of it first or stuff like that. trust me, with all 3 english tracks it doesnt feel and it surely isnt without a reason. i never thought i would enjoy pop music like that before, but its because of their sincerity and their hard work that it feels different.
dynamite is so iconic, and there are so many stages they did for it. you cant help but feel good listening to it. its the perfect pop song in my opinion.
with butter, since you seem to have trouble with it a lot, i suggest you watch the hotter remix version, it has a very funny mv of just the members fooling around in front of the camera basically (maybe check out the video with "things you didnt notice in bts butter hotter remix" after too), theres the "butter in karaoke" (must watch the bangtan bomb of it too, is hilarious), their grammy performance of butter is the coolest grammy performance in my opinion, its sooo good, youll see the reason for releasing this song if you watch it. this era is iconic honestly. I can't imagine a better song for a grammy performance.
for permission to dance, i dont think you have a problem with that one too, but still, i loved it so much more after i saw their performance of it at the UN. again, the perfect song for the occasion honestly.
context is always crucial for bts' work.
i get it. i get why these songs, at those times. not only are they bright and make u smile, but they allowed them to do iconic and important things. honestly, i can only praise them and their company for their smart choices. dynamite was the perfect song for the world in the middle of 2020, the perfect song to make you happy and to make you feel hope.

With Dynamite i have no problem. It’s not a song that I would chose to listen, but if it plays it’s fine. Permission to dance i am still to see. I do not know it yet.
With Butter it was overplayed to an extent that I got to have physical reactions to. It happens the same with Stray Kids “All in” (i had to delete it from my album cause i cannot listen to it). And also All I want for Christmas by Mariah. My skin boils when that is on. I have sound sensitivity, which I think is a mental issue. Since I was little i been having problems with certain sounds or songs. I know how to distract myself into not reacting badly, but it’s still a struggle.
I will give Butter a go, but I still need time. 💜
For me the 3 English songs do not have the same impact as for older Armys, as I was not an Army when they came out. I have no problem with them being in English. Butter can be in Russian, and I would feel the same because it’s about the music, not the lyrics. At the beginning I thought it was by One Direction 😂 I had no idea who was by. So BTS are not the reason for my dislike of Butter.

I do not contest the song’s success. I also do not like Michael Jackson’s music at all, but I will always respect his work and I will always command his talent. It’s just not my preference. We all have preferences when it comes to music. Butter is not my type of sound. If you like it, I am happy. But I am allowed to like what I like and dislike what I dislike. It’s not only with Butter. I have many songs that make me react this way. Even if I am a Stay (Stray Kids fan) there is a song from them that I cannot listen to (“All in” is the song’s title). All I want for Christmas is you is another example. I cannot physically listen to it. It makes my skin react. It’s just me.
I wouldn’t have gotten through the pandemic if it wasn’t for BTS, living in NYC and having so much anxiety. Them working so hard really got me through it. I understand that Butter or the other English songs are not everyone’s preference. But they did it for us because they knew we were all going to a tough time..I really enjoyed the Butter era 💜
I would have probably enjoyed Butter if I were an Army before it appeared. But I hated it before I knew who sang it. I thought it was One Direction at the beginning. 😂 I was not a fan of them as well.
