Coming to Japan next June with friends and staying in Bunkyo near the Tokyo Dome. Have you done any videos about Bunkyo or going to a Japanese League Baseball game? I've been to Tokyo, Osaka, and Nara before, but would like some ideas for guiding my wife/friends. Thoughts?
lol same. I found his channel on my adventures to be super prepared going over there to Japan in two months but now I jus wanna be over-prepared so I know where all the cool spots are at
Ya, I figure in 40 years I’ll go, until then I’ll practice eating street food by watching these videos and replicating the food in my kitchen. Practice makes perfect.
My wife and I are in Tokyo right now for the very first time. After watching this we're definitely cathing the train over to Jiyugaoka for some good eats! Thanks Paolo!
After I watch your videos about places I go to Google Earth to that City or area. This one in particular is unusually beautiful the architecture is striking and the way they tend to their plants and flowers are lovely. I'm still in the middle of my own personal Google Earth Tour but I took a minute to get back to your video to let you know how great this area is and I would love to visit one day. So thanks for the great work and showing us such a great little suburb of Tokyo you did good once again
I suggest anybody try this it's a lot of fun it takes a little bit of effort to find the place but once you do you kind of take off walking through the city streets he get to look into the nooks and crannies. Sometimes I find a store and I end up looking up that company online and see whether or not they ship to the US she can kind of shop in Japan it's fun.
the caramelized crêpe and the warabi mochi looked so delicious! i wasn’t able to try either of those on my last trip to japan so i’ll definitely have to check these places out when i go back next summer! thanks so much for the great video paolo!
So funny, when you started this channel Maiko seemed not want to be seen on camera and now she doesn’t seem to mind. You guys make a perfect mix on this channel. Thanks for the entertainment you two provide. Being in Japan for 27 years here in Ayase-Shi it’s nice to see Tokyo from a different view. I spend more time out in the countryside..
Hey Paolo, your channel was really helpful on planning and even during my trip to Japan. Thanks for the great contents. I'm planning a trip to Fukuoka soon and I was hoping you could do a Things To Do series there as well. I feel like I'm going in blind without your guidance, haha.
I've been planning a trip to Japan for 2 weeks in August and I honestly can't say thank you enough. Your channel has helped me in my research so much it's unbelievable. Thank you!
Hi Paolo, I just wanted to thank you for all your fascinating videos. I am not fortunate enough to have the opportunity to travel but I have always had a love of Japan and Japanese culture, borne originally from my love of videogames and anime. I love your videos, they are so well made, always interesting and above all, you seem like such a great person, your friendliness and enthusiasm for Japan really shines through; I get the sense that you really appreciate being lucky enough to live in Japan and embrace and experience their culture and traditions. Thank you Paolo👍👍👍
This video felt like it was shorter but equally satisfying like the others. To the point and on point. Paolo, have you and Maiko considered doing a bi-weekly or monthly podcast? I know it's not a good idea to have your videos running while I'm driving but it's just awesome even to listen to you talk about Japan and all the shops you visit!
I luuuuuuuurv Jiyugaoka. Stayed there 2 years back and make sure to go there every time I go to Japan. There is a really nice restaurant there called Cafe Banff....Canadian style cooking over smoke and flame.
Again a fantastic video. Thank you. Arigato. Obrigado. As you said, the weather was very hot, we can see you sweated a lot. Tokyo is humid. I felt it when I came two years ago...
I have no idea how I'm going to fit all your recommendations into my November holiday in Japan. And I think I'm going to come home weighing about 5 kilos more! Have you thought about doing fan/visitor food tours through Tokyo? You and Maiko would be perfect.
Hey dude, your back with food travelling video, that's awesome! Jiyugaoka, never seen this place here in Japan before but it looks so amazing indeed. Great video, so inspiring! 😉
Your smile is really contagious, I'm always smiling through out your videos, keep up the great content. Its funny how Maiko has no sweat at all, I'm the same way I sweat a lot in the heat like you and my partner nothing 😂
Same keep the fried food recommendations, I love fried food. Being from Texas and all. Plus if I ever go to japan I would love to try their fried food so keep me prepared! Thank you.

I just went to Tokyo. Japan is such a beautiful and amazing place, no wonder their immigration laws are so strict. They want to preserve what they have. It's sad to come to terms with but I understand. :(

ayyy paolo, i appreciate the time and effort you put into making your videos informative, presentable, and enjoyable. keep up the great work
Not going to lie, Paolo's voice sounds like it should narrate a kids show on Animal Planet or Discovery Channel.
He sounds a little hoarse in the last couple videos.
He is amazingly talented for sure!
" sweeter than two children exchanging friendship bracelets" he says.
the caramelized crêpe and the warabi mochi looked so delicious! i wasn’t able to try either of those on my last trip to japan so i’ll definitely have to check these places out when i go back next summer!
