That said, I would never criticise anyone for giving him an 8. For the 4 areas, I'd give him 7 9 8 9 with an overall score of 8.5"
@@hyewonshi5629 Well noticed. This is part of the reason why I thought his fluency was the lowest part of his score even though his overall score was very high.
I had my speaking exam today and I'd love to thank you for all your videos! The exam wasn't that bad but I think I was talking too fast even though examinator didn't tell me that... anyway, my questions in Part 1 were about do i study or work then how my study day looks and what should be changed to improve my learning; then costumes, dressing up now and in childhood and what was the last occasion when I wore a costume and about driving a car and do you prefer front or back sit. Part 2: I had to describe an organization that employs a lot of people so I talked about charity organization which I belong to (there are volunteers and employees too so I think it wasn't wrong answer) and then Part 3 questions about why young people cant find a job, what should be changed to allow them to find a job easier, what government should do for unemployed people and are low-paid job attractive for someone without any other option.

No, hesitation here is a real problem and it affects his fluency score and pronunciation. He is nowhere near Band 8.5. The problem here is also that this is nothing like a real IELTS speaking exam so it's difficult to give him an IELTS band score.
Just took my Ielts exam on 12th June, in Brazil. 1st part: Do you work or study? Why did you chose this field? What you dislike about your job? Do you like to read? Where? 2nd part: Describe an important conversation that you remember well. Who/when/where/why is important. 3rd part: What young people talk about? Are they going to change the topics in the future? Why? Is in-person communication important? Why?

Although I am really good at English, I am very bad at monologue part. I hope I can improve on it.n
Hello , I had speaking test today and I did it well , everything was ok I mean the fluency, gramer and other aspects but one think that I am veryyyy worried about is I kinda gave a wrong answer to the second part . The question was like that : describe something that your family keeps in your home . And I said they keep a habit of celebrating and gathering my friend from when I was 4 years old....how stupid I was !!! That was something spritual and not physical and I don't know why I gave that answer....the examiner asked some question about keeping objects that remind us of the past in the third part of speaking and I answered them in the best way possible I just think that the second part will affect my score ...do you think they would just ignore it or maybe take it easy on me ??!! Please answer me
His voice is rough it's hard to understand what he's saying at all the opposite the voice of the examiner her vice understandable ... We conclude that the examiner must be a girl so the condidate can understand as well
I think he is your partner
Really usefull video mam
Hey guys! I've got a question. I have a very strong american accent, can I fail the test because of that? Thank you.
No, your accent doesn't matter, only your pronunciation.
