- 2007 Charger SRT w/ 6.2L Supercharged V8 Hemi from Hellcat! This Charger SRT started off with a 6.1L v8 Hemi with 425hp. Now it runs a 10.20 in the 1/4 mile with 705whp. True Street Performance is currently working on another Hellcat SRT conversion with an '08 Charger SRT8. Is this a widebody charger, nope! But this Hellcat conversion is just as cool.

R/T Life gentlemen, congrats on the build. I’m building an 06. Not doing a hellcat swap though. I’ve been running into a rotor rubbing issue with adding the 6 piston brembos in front. I noticed you have them on yours. Was just hoping for some input. (I have ‘16 hellcat knuckles/calipers) rotors???? Thanx

i gotta question. so is an 04-06 SRT8 V-8 (425hp) Charger considered the Charger Hellcat of that era? since the term “hellcat” was never a thing up until a couple years after ?

This 07 Charger is simply amazing and beautiful, love the color combo, Hellcat seats put it in a class of it's own, I love that he retained the original dash gauges, and center console, this is a true car guy, upgraded with a Hellcat motor without taking to much away from the originality of this mean looking beast, 10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🏁

I’ve been waiting for someone to finally do this type of project(Hellcat engine swap into an SRT8)😂😂😭😭😭, there’s just something so satisfying about taking an older vehicle and rebuilding it with newer components. PLEASE a dyno vid or test drive would be the best thing to see🔥🔥, keep it up man 🔥🔥💯❤️
I agree - it's super unique & overall just badass. I like that the performance matches the menacing looks. I will see what I can do for a follow up video on it - would be nice to see it in action

R/T Life and it’s not bad day you buy the engine with drive train for 10-12 which I have seen. And you already own the car you have a hellcat for half the price after adding mods and tuning. Hope to see more of this on the channel bro

He should definitely put a Scatpack body kit on it. Runs like $1000 but gives it the Scatpack look.
@@heatlifer3640 especially on the back where inner back pressure will build the faster you go. They do sell kits for the 06-10 chargers with the side back scoops like on the charger scatpack on the back. And black 5" black exhaust tips with blacked out tail LED lights will complete the look

first you will need the money.. and the rest would be easy
The easy part is the money but finding the perfect parts and tuners is harder

The 2019 charger HC weighs 4575 and 07 SRT8 4160, so the 07 should take a factory cat down if both are stock. That is a cool build, and have thought about doing the same thing with my challenger whenever I blowup the 6.1 lol. They've had hellcrates on sale for under 15k with 36 mo warranty, so they are a little more attainable to buy new
I think this is a really cool option. 15k will net you a lot of performance. Having something unique like this is what makes this hobby so enjoyable.
This is custom mated to the nag1 driveline. Performance and drivability will differ from a cat.
This is amazing! Was going to do a 6.1 swap on my 08 Charger but now I’m considering this. Did you have to get a custom driveshaft to fit with the transmission?
