I remember watching Happy Days around 1974 and this little dynamo came on named Suzi Quatro near the end and starting singing Devil Gate Drive. She blew me right out of my socks. I couldn't believe this little lady had such a powerful voice with so much energy. Quatro must have electrified the TV producers at that time. It was magic. I have since learned that Suzi Quatro was a huge inspiration for a lot of 70s and 80s girl groups. John Jett says Suzi Quatro was a major inspiration for her to get into the music business.
