I just watched the finale episode of Supernatural Thursday 11/19/2020. I have mixed feelings about how my favorite series ended. However, I am glad Dean and Sam Winchester ended up together in the end. The two actors Jenson Ackles and Jared Padalecki portraying the Winchester brothers will always have a special place in my heart. They brought joy and happiness in my life each week for 1 hour for 15 years. 😭Take care guys and I will miss you each week in my home. 😭
I still can’t believe we have another episode left. I’ve been strong all season but the montage at the end of episode 19 near enough killed me. I haven’t stopped thinking about it since lol. I’m excited for the finale this week but also extremely nervous. 😭

DC actually were pretty good about it, it seems. Even though the lead writer had am exclusivity contract with DC, they let him carry on with The Boys for the other studio, and they sold the rights so it could be continued rather than just cancelling it.
i’ve never seen this show in its entirety but i have seen certain clips on youtube and stuff but that one scene had me going through the 7 stages of grief in like 10 minutes
The handprint was fantastic circular storytelling. From beginning to end, it all comes down to Castiel grabbing Dean and saving him. It makes you reflect on the journey in-between. Whoever's idea it was, good on them! (I sobbed because of it)

This season felt so final. I prepared myself knowing that they’ve died and resurrected so many times that what happens this season is probably final. When someone dies it’s probably for real so it all hit hard

@@randomepic6204 After all the posts Misha has made about it, whom btw knows the character better than anyone else because he IS/WAS the character, plus the entire speech made by Cas to Dean about why he tells him "I love you.", are pretty big signs that its canon. Not to mention, and I know a lot of people are gonna say "to each his own" to this, but I'm pretty sure the way Cas told Dean he loves him wasn't platonic. In the past 12 years of their relationship Cas has told dean plenty of times that he cares about him but that he also was new to emotions and feelings as an angel when they first met, but never once full on stated that he was in love WITH him/towards him. As the years if knowing him went on he became more open go emotions, which he even states in the show multiple times, and tells Dean that it was because of him that he learned how to feel. It's like you just shut out the scene entirely and didn't listen to any of the speech that Cas gave to Dean before he was taken to the empty. Whether or not Dean physically said I love you back, it doesn't matter. It's still canon that Cas loves Dean, even if they came back and made Dean say "Well I love you too, but you're like family to me." Both of them care deeply about one another. Destiel is way more than just the both of them caring for eachother in a romantic way, its about their relationship as a whole. So, in literal terms, technically Destiel has been canon for 12 years when Cas first took Dean's side and went against heaven's orders. It's like Naomi said, he fell in every way possible. Or when Anna and the other angels left him because he chose not to kill Dean, because his bond/relationship with Dean meant way more to him than having an angel army stand behind him. Also, let's not forget that Dean stayed an entire year in purgatory to find him, because he didn't want to leave without him, even though he was on the verge of death every second he was there. He could have easily asked Benny for guidance to the exit without telling him about Cas and just left him in purgatory, but no, the entire time he argued and refused to leave him behind. Dean obviously cares extremely about Cas, whether it be romantic or not, it doesn't have to be spelled out in a big ass banner or announced on a loud speaker for anyone to see that, unless you just completely ignored what you were watching or you're just being stubborn and want to stir shit up in the Fandom for no reason other than you're bored. It's Canon, romantic or not. Also, on the subject of Dean, he grew up not really having the chance to explore who he was when it came to romance because of the lifestyle he was forced to have in his upbringing. He never got the chance to have a real, solid, meaningful relationship, even what he had in Season 6 with Lisa was short lived. Now, unfortunately whether or not John was homophobic and kept "Dean in check" wasn't exactly confirmed and is just a big theory among fans, but as someone who tends to really pick apart certain things, I saw the signs of early childhood abuse. Even with their situation and Mary's death, John had no business as a father treating Dean the way he did. Someone who's treated the way Dean was tend to have issues with exploring their emotions and feelings later on in their lives because they were taught that being a certain way or not was wrong. Dean even states himself that because of the way they grew up he felt like he never got the chance to really explore what he wanted, and I even quote from him: "There's things, people, feelings, that I want to experience for the first time, maybe even ever." That statement is like a huge ass mall with every inch of it taken up by retail stores; Theres so many different options and paths to go through and choose from. The writers basically left Dean open for everyone in the Fandom to interpret him however they wanted, even after multiple times of Dean telling guys that he "doesn't play for their team.", which btw after season 6 he never disregarded another male flirting with him or got defensive over it. People can change over time, whether or not everyone sees it the same.

I love you all and I love the Spn family and I definitely love Jensen and Misha and Jared and Alex and everyone else from the cast and crew. I definitely cried when that scene happened and watching the show reactions from everyone on TH-cam. It's a freaking crazy episode.
do you really wanna kno "why".. 💚💙 (ie; here, have some texty rambling of me describing Cas' feelings in answer to someone's question elsewhere online cuz it made my heart ache sooo much I just had to save it for potential sharing that others might find cathartic - oh & the question was, "what did Castiel want that he couldn't have?") Castiel wanted to be open about his love for Dean, & to be truly loved in return. But he felt unworthy.. that it was smth he would never hear from anyone, & especially not from the one he had been falling for over & over.. as he considered himself too much of a failure, a broken mess, etc. That's the ironic thing- Dean thought similarly about himself (he's always felt "unlovable" & unworthy of being saved) so they were both ~blind to how much the other truly cared about them. Plus Dean's anger issues didn't help, often driving them further apart. If you remember when Cas woke up in the Empty & it tried to scare him back to sleep by pointing out Cas' feelings & preying on his insecurities about them.. "I kno who you love, what you fear.." it's always been Dean & losing him completely. So when Castiel offered to return to the Empty in trade for our Jack to be Heaven-bound instead (being half-angel & half-human, the Empty wanted to claim his angelic soul), Cas was prepared to essentially die AGAIN right then, but the Empty decided to give him that mentally-torturous clause on the deal instead ie taking him once he reached a point of true happiness. Castiel was baffled tho- how could he ever feel THAT sincerely "happy"?? 😭 But he eventually figured it out & decided to just use that feeling to save Dean, for one last time.. because that's what he's always done, & he knew Dean wd go on to save the world afterwards ♡ That's what his whole, "happiness isn't actually in the having, but in just being" speech was all about - speaking how he really feels out loud regardless of his fears.. it's just too bad the following eps acted as if the big speech never happened & didn't show us Cas being rescued nor his reunion with the boys nor how he goes on with those feelings & if they're ever addressed at some later point.. ah well, maybe in some future continuance or do-over special! 💚💙

I honestly did scream in my apartment, and sobbed, and yelled, and was a confused mess because I couldn’t process my feelings. I will say that Dean handled it much better than I did and I was worse at Dean at processing my feelings. I’m still sad and don’t know how to feel!
It's not just misha, the whole cast has said what is seen, they have even said that much of what is seen on screen is what is behind the scenes, the great chemistry of jensen and misha, and the writers have played great part in that and they admit it but the issue is that the series is about the brothers never went to deepen not even sam who had more opportunity to have a happy family and they only gave it to him until the end after dean dies, after that castiel dies.

And sometimes I feel that Jensen does not talk much about castiel or destiel because he has misha above that, they ask him about castiel or destiel is like "mehhh", but they ask him about misha he can't help but smile and talk about how silly he is, all the bromance friends in hollywood I think is the coolest, their anecdotes that I think only jared understands the language and internal jokes. once the fans were cheering for samstiel and jared said "no, sam has good taste" and jensen said "clearly dean, no", if I'm not bad even in one of castiel's deaths it was jensen who asked to bring him because he wanted misha back, they really have something very nice. i think misha attracts a lot, it reminds me when jensen's wife sees misha and says she "loves him" and jensen doesn't hesitate to say "who doesn't"
Not only was it misha, there were always many hints, even at first misha avoided talking about it like everyone else in the cast, and suddenly the issue started to come up more in a bromance tone, then the cast seemed to lose their fear of talking about chemistry between these characters and actors, who were precisely nominated for best chemistry, as I said Jensen avoids destiny more than anything because he likes misha more than the character, he has it above castiel but I would say that he likes Destiel for things said and chapters that addressed. It is true, as I have said elsewhere, Destiel was destined for tragedy, whether or not it was reciprocated, because it was always known that the series belonged to the brothers, even though since season 4 it was the secondary ones who kept the program alive.
Jensen explained why he changed the "I love you" to "I need you", since it was not something very Dean. but that already gives indications that the scriptwriters wanted a confection, even I would say that castiel was already in love since he took Dean out of hell and if someone were to make first I always thought it was Cass, castiel was a character that should die in the fourth season for Anna to stay with Dean, but in the end Castiel stayed and they took Anna out, even in that season, Castiel says that he feels things that he had not felt. season 10 is Dean who says he wants to experience things, feelings that he had not felt. The truth is that many times the writers played the parallels very well, we must not forget that they made the story, and that Jensen does not speak completely about those things does not mean that he hates him, I remember last year before the end of the series and We knew the end of Castiel, they asked him what happened to these characters and he looked very sad, even Jared handled the interview more.

@@randomepic6204 After all the posts Misha has made about it, whom btw knows the character better than anyone else because he IS/WAS the character, plus the entire speech made by Cas to Dean about why he tells him "I love you.", are pretty big signs that its canon. Not to mention, and I know a lot of people are gonna say "to each his own" to this, but I'm pretty sure the way Cas told Dean he loves him wasn't platonic. In the past 12 years of their relationship Cas has told dean plenty of times that he cares about him but that he also was new to emotions and feelings as an angel when they first met, but never once full on stated that he was in love WITH him/towards him. As the years if knowing him went on he became more open go emotions, which he even states in the show multiple times, and tells Dean that it was because of him that he learned how to feel. It's like you just shut out the scene entirely and didn't listen to any of the speech that Cas gave to Dean before he was taken to the empty. Whether or not Dean physically said I love you back, it doesn't matter. It's still canon that Cas loves Dean, even if they came back and made Dean say "Well I love you too, but you're like family to me." Both of them care deeply about one another. Destiel is way more than just the both of them caring for eachother in a romantic way, its about their relationship as a whole. So, in literal terms, technically Destiel has been canon for 12 years when Cas first took Dean's side and went against heaven's orders. It's like Naomi said, he fell in every way possible. Or when Anna and the other angels left him because he chose not to kill Dean, because his bond/relationship with Dean meant way more to him than having an angel army stand behind him. Also, let's not forget that Dean stayed an entire year in purgatory to find him, because he didn't want to leave without him, even though he was on the verge of death every second he was there. He could have easily asked Benny for guidance to the exit without telling him about Cas and just left him in purgatory, but no, the entire time he argued and refused to leave him behind. Dean obviously cares extremely about Cas, whether it be romantic or not, it doesn't have to be spelled out in a big ass banner or announced on a loud speaker for anyone to see that, unless you just completely ignored what you were watching or you're just being stubborn and want to stir shit up in the Fandom for no reason other than you're bored. It's Canon, romantic or not.
Also, on the subject of Dean, he grew up not really having the chance to explore who he was when it came to romance because of the lifestyle he was forced to have in his upbringing. He never got the chance to have a real, solid, meaningful relationship, even what he had in Season 6 with Lisa was short lived. Now, unfortunately whether or not John was homophobic and kept "Dean in check" wasn't exactly confirmed and is just a big theory among fans, but as someone who tends to really pick apart certain things, I saw the signs of early childhood abuse. Even with their situation and Mary's death, John had no business as a father treating Dean the way he did. Someone who's treated the way Dean was tend to have issues with exploring their emotions and feelings later on in their lives because they were taught that being a certain way or not was wrong. Dean even states himself that because of the way they grew up he felt like he never got the chance to really explore what he wanted, and I even quote from him: "There's things, people, feelings, that I want to experience for the first time, maybe even ever." That statement is like a huge ass mall with every inch of it taken up by retail stores; Theres so many different options and paths to go through and choose from. The writers basically left Dean open for everyone in the Fandom to interpret him however they wanted, even after multiple times of Dean telling guys that he "doesn't play for their team.", which btw after season 6 he never disregarded another male flirting with him or got defensive over it. People can change over time, whether or not everyone sees it the same.

(ie; here, have some texty rambling of me describing Cas' feelings in answer to someone's question elsewhere online cuz it made my heart ache sooo much I just had to save it for potential sharing that others might find cathartic - oh & the question was, "what did Castiel want that he couldn't have?")
Castiel wanted to be open about his love for Dean, & to be truly loved in return. But he felt unworthy.. that it was smth he would never hear from anyone, & especially not from the one he had been falling for over & over.. as he considered himself too much of a failure, a broken mess, etc. That's the ironic thing- Dean thought similarly about himself (he's always felt "unlovable" & unworthy of being saved) so they were both ~blind to how much the other truly cared about them. Plus Dean's anger issues didn't help, often driving them further apart. If you remember when Cas woke up in the Empty & it tried to scare him back to sleep by pointing out Cas' feelings & preying on his insecurities about them.. "I kno who you love, what you fear.." it's always been Dean & losing him completely. So when Castiel offered to return to the Empty in trade for our Jack to be Heaven-bound instead (being half-angel & half-human, the Empty wanted to claim his angelic soul), Cas was prepared to essentially die AGAIN right then, but the Empty decided to give him that mentally-torturous clause on the deal instead ie taking him once he reached a point of true happiness. Castiel was baffled tho- how could he ever feel THAT sincerely "happy"?? 😭 But he eventually figured it out & decided to just use that feeling to save Dean, for one last time.. because that's what he's always done, & he knew Dean wd go on to save the world afterwards ♡ That's what his whole, "happiness isn't actually in the having, but in just being" speech was all about - speaking how he really feels out loud regardless of his fears.. it's just too bad the following eps acted as if the big speech never happened & didn't show us Cas being rescued nor his reunion with the boys nor how he goes on with those feelings & if they're ever addressed at some later point.. ah well, maybe in some future continuance or do-over special! 💚💙

I honestly did scream in my apartment, and sobbed, and yelled, and was a confused mess because I couldn’t process my feelings. I will say that Dean handled it much better than I did and I was worse at Dean at processing my feelings. I’m still sad and don’t know how to feel!

He didn't mention Destiel. I'm beginning to think that the only one in the cast who believes in Destiel is Misha.
It's not just misha, the whole cast has said what is seen, they have even said that much of what is seen on screen is what is behind the scenes, the great chemistry of jensen and misha, and the writers have played great part in that and they admit it but the issue is that the series is about the brothers never went to deepen not even sam who had more opportunity to have a happy family and they only gave it to him until the end after dean dies, after that castiel dies.

And sometimes I feel that Jensen does not talk much about castiel or destiel because he has misha above that, they ask him about castiel or destiel is like "mehhh", but they ask him about misha he can't help but smile and talk about how silly he is, all the bromance friends in hollywood I think is the coolest, their anecdotes that I think only jared understands the language and internal jokes. once the fans were cheering for samstiel and jared said "no, sam has good taste" and jensen said "clearly dean, no", if I'm not bad even in one of castiel's deaths it was jensen who asked to bring him because he wanted misha back, they really have something very nice. i think misha attracts a lot, it reminds me when jensen's wife sees misha and says she "loves him" and jensen doesn't hesitate to say "who doesn't"
Not only was it misha, there were always many hints, even at first misha avoided talking about it like everyone else in the cast, and suddenly the issue started to come up more in a bromance tone, then the cast seemed to lose their fear of talking about chemistry between these characters and actors, who were precisely nominated for best chemistry, as I said Jensen avoids destiny more than anything because he likes misha more than the character, he has it above castiel but I would say that he likes Destiel for things said and chapters that addressed. It is true, as I have said elsewhere, Destiel was destined for tragedy, whether or not it was reciprocated, because it was always known that the series belonged to the brothers, even though since season 4 it was the secondary ones who kept the program alive.
Jensen explained why he changed the "I love you" to "I need you", since it was not something very Dean. but that already gives indications that the scriptwriters wanted a confection, even I would say that castiel was already in love since he took Dean out of hell and if someone were to make first I always thought it was Cass, castiel was a character that should die in the fourth season for Anna to stay with Dean, but in the end Castiel stayed and they took Anna out, even in that season, Castiel says that he feels things that he had not felt. season 10 is Dean who says he wants to experience things, feelings that he had not felt. The truth is that many times the writers played the parallels very well, we must not forget that they made the story, and that Jensen does not speak completely about those things does not mean that he hates him, I remember last year before the end of the series and We knew the end of Castiel, they asked him what happened to these characters and he looked very sad, even Jared handled the interview more.
