I am from the USA, and I sympathize with the European farmers. IMHO the politicians are all wet. Countries need to keep vital industries, those their people depend on to survive, in country so they are not hostage to the whims of others. I believe it for my own country, and I believe it for yours.

I live in Austria, we are a direct neighbor of Germany and no farmers are protesting here!! We are economically on a par with Germany. The state takes care of the farmers! They are established and have priority over other industries. The state ensured that every product grown or manufactured in Austria had priority on the market.
Austria has shown that it is possible for a government to make good decisions even if it wants to be more environmentally friendly.
Austria is a role model that it can be done,and Germany and the other EU countries have no excuse for ruining the farmers.
