That's a good thing to do for your community! Too bad the drone didn't work out. Glad you made it home Mc Guyver! Hope you get your son's truck fixed fast and easily.
Thanks for helping at the race! I laid up for this race but a lot of buddies/acquaintances participated. It's nice to know help is close when we do stupid stuff on a bike . Also, the risk of possible loss of equipment due to damage. I lost a windshield to road debris shuttling drop bags for an event. I was curious if you know of a small handheld that is thin I could use on my bike with an earpiece/mic. I was hoping for a radio/battery less than 25mm thick. The Alinco DJ-C1 would have been perfect but it's out of production. Also, I heard Danny is looking for more SAG's at MS150 June 23-24 if you didn't have any plans this weekend. Wasatch 100 in September at Bountiful B? Steve/KA7PYP
I think I could do the job of the guy on the motorcycle lol. Sorry about your sons truck. I’m glad you had what it took to rig it up to get back home 😀👍
Wow glad you made it home. Yea my heater didn't work so bob helped me put in the thermostat. The heater got hot for a few days now the ehater don't work at all. No air I'm so tired of this struck. And it gets hot on the gadge and it seams like the truck gets hot. Well the radiator I mean. But I can go out side squeeze the hose it's hot hot. But I can try to open the cap there's no pressure. Don't no why. But when most tricks get hot the hose you can't press in alot this one you can. I do have brown stuff and alot in the radiator so maybe the heater core plugged and only loose water here and there when I open the waters always at the bottom of we're you out the cap it's maybe half in or inch down. Wish I new more about my truck. But I think I'll take the thermostat bout soon being it's getting hot and look for a radiator but I'll get help cause I'll need to flush the block heater core and all or just take it to the junk yard and drive my van.cause it gets to hot out side my trucks gonna over heat again like last year were I got stuck were I was for hrs before the truck started. Sorry didn't mean to complain. But I liked the video it's cool to mess with the radios I want to hook up my cb been.so long since I had one. Got 3 that are nice. Haven't hooked one up since my bus 10 years ago. Have a good night God bless
Great vid! Good job! Where were you Jason? I've done a few things like this..lots of prep and work. Safety is of utmost importance, I've been a ham since 1980. 73's..Rick.
I am also a Ham Radio operator, and I work parades and marathons, and other events. I enjoy doing it. Its fun, and I don't mind doing it. I can also run a Ham radio, HT, on my bicycle, so I've helped with a few long distance bike rides. Was this race some where in Colorado? Glad you made it home. KI7BSL, 73's.
