I adore how the toddler sleeping pile was perfectly color coordinated. As a person who struggles with various ridiculous symptoms of OCD, I particularly approve of this organized sleeping pile. Well done Toddlers. Next, color sorted and alphabetized by name.
Aww.. poor little thing. He was so tiny and to me, looked like he hadn't developed properly in the face/head. His eyes were a little wonky when he was born and his tongue was always sticking out to one side. Nubs is now in a better place, playing with little Delilah and being watched over by Penny.
can agree cause i just got out of yet another lung infection, I didn't realise that i could be seasonal but now that i think back on it. yeah that makes too much sense
Yep. And this year most of the US has had an unseasonably warm, short winter with multiple rapid swings from high temps to below freezing with snow in many places and back warm again. It’s been ESPECIALLY harsh on animals who grow thick winter coats & thus can’t regulate their body temp with such wild swings in temps. So many people I know personally & channels I watch have had animals suffer mild to severe respiratory illnesses. With several people losing animals to such illnesses…LGDs, pet dogs, highland cattle, lamas/alpacas, sheep, fluffy goats, some short haired cattle & even chickens, ducks, geese & other birds. A friend & neighbor lost half her flock of various types of fancy chicken breeds over the last week totally 11 birds to pneumonia. 😕 Not to mention now here in the southern eastern/western US and many other parts of the country massive amounts of pollen has also hit. Between the swings in temps, pollen & rapid swings barometric pressure my sinuses are driving me nuts & Im have migraines triggered by all 3! Hope it levels out soon! Also hope we don’t have an insanely hot summer like last year!🤞🏻🙏🏼🤞🏻😕
Longhorn Lester's had a little runt that looked a lot like Nubs. The mama abandoned him & they tried their best but internally something was wrong. The vet recommended the last act of kindness so they did what was best for him. He'll be at peace now.
He just looked So rough, even when you said he was doing well. Those ears and legs, the tongue. Poor little fellow just wasn't properly put together. That's how nature goes sometimes.
I am happy to see all the babies playing and healthy, they are so amazing! But I really cried when the little black guy died😢 I have a farm too. You try to do your best but in these case you never know. Thank you for sharing your videos!! 🐐❤
No matter how bad their odds are, it’s still sad if they pass. I cry with each loss and feel triumphant with each victory. I really wanted goats because of you but I don’t have the space for them. 🥲 I’ll do gardening and raise chicken and maybe quail. I’m old so I need it to be easy. I’ll dream as I watch your videos and live vicariously through them. Thank you for sharing. 💜💕❤️🙏🌈🐶🐾🐈
Nubs reminded me of little Delilah that you guys lost a few years back. So sad to see it happen but that’s the unfortunate reality of breeding sometimes. I’ve been watching since you had Doris and Mabel on the farm and have enjoyed every video since. Great work Danelle and Kevin. I hope Lydia and Ethan are doing well too❤
We have a farm with goats, and like you accept, death is a part of it. It is very hard if a little one doesn't make it. You take great care of your animals even in death.
One of my does delivered 2 weeks early and we lost both of her twin bucklings. Its had but nature happens and their is only so much you can do. Tha k you forgiving nubs the best life even though it was short ❤
Poor sweet Nubs. You could tell he had a lot of physical shortages. I'm glad his brother was there for him and Casper knew something was different. Return to the Earth Mother, sweet Nubs.
Oh my goodness!!! That is absolutely tragic!! Rest in Peace, little Nubs. Feel soooooo bad for Chunk, but glad he has his half-siblings to play with....It's very interesting the way Casper knew what happened to Nubs....Dogs can be very intuitive....Thank you for the update!
So glad you show this part too, unfortunately the Runts don't always make it & you're so right about the complications of the placental mal attachment, i was afraid he had more wrong than could be readily seen. You're such a wonderful Goat mom, your husbandry is excellent & your empathy & compassion are beautiful to behold. Thank you for being such a lovely example of how to do this the right way ❤
Poor little Nubs💔 I'm so sorry. He had you to love him, give him a comfortable home & take care of him while he was with us. Nubs was a lucky little fella for having you & your family ❤x
Luna looks so good for how old she is she is doing so good, I'm worried about Tilly are her teeth still good because when a goat geos downhill the teeth are bad I've noticed
I’m sorry for the loss of little Nubs ❤ As you say, the runts can be runts because they didn’t have a good nutritional supply during the pregnancy or it could be genetics or both combined. I think this time it was both things combined, just by what has been shown in your videos 😢
Thanks so much for sharing about nubs. We lost a lamb today. I was up most of the night trying to help her. This story helped me. I'm sorry for your loss. The ones who are healthy and jumping around are so healing to our souls.
I'm so sorry for the loss of Nubs. So adorable. I hope Chunk will get along with the others and not miss Nubs. Casper was so alert to what happened. Love and prayers from NC.
Little Nub had a good life on her few weeks on earth she felt all the love from her human parents and love ❤️ from all the animals. She will be missed!
The same philosophy applies to us in the EMS field we can sure do our best we can in their worst moments but we can’t save them all. I’m so sorry for the loss of little Nubs. You tried your best and that’s all you can do! ❤
Thank you so much for showing us the good, the bad, and the ugly. I had the feeling Nubs would fail to thrive - so thankful his twin is big and strong. I'm sure lil Chunk will adjust greatly to all the other lil kids. Seeing Kiwi visit with you was precious it's been some time since she's made an appearance in a video I almost forgot about her! Hoping Tilly bounces back and has a smooth recovery!!
Milk is an emulsion, meaning tiny bubbles of fat suspended in a water phase. It will basically always separate when frozen because fat and water freezes at different temperatures. If possible, taking the nutritional values in to account, you could try to add an emulsifier such as phospholipids or oleic acid.
Oh, I'm so sorry about Nubs. You certainly give all of your goats so much love and the best possible chance of growing up. Casper and Chunk were so precious, as well as Kiwi. Blessings for all of you, as well as your herd. And thanks for sharing your life with us.
A moment of silence for sweet Nubs.. We were so hopeful for him.. Lets give him some more of that love for him to rest peacefully..❤
The important thing is that Nubs was loved and warm, and happy 😢
Sweet Kiwi is such a good mom. So much maternal instinct in that little heart. I'm so sorry about Nubs.
Poor Chunk and Casper. It was so sweet to see Casper check on him.
Yeah, that broke my heart. ❤
Raising animals has its joys and sorrows , I'm sorry he didn't make it but from day one with him me and my daughter both said he didn't look well
I think Kevin needs to put another tire for the baby goats ❤
Fr. I was thinking the same thing
Gurll I was thinking that maybe someone can donate a tire for these babyssss!!
@FoxSlayer_ they could
I can't, though
Thank you for sharing the good the bad and the ugly and being so transparent for your followers about the reality of farming.
I’m so sorry about little Nubs. Farming is not for the faint of heart. Thank you for sharing.
Had to stop watching until I could see through the tears. It never gets easy
I cried remembering our old past goats
Rest in peace little Nubs..❤
I hope the other buckling adapts well. I hate that nubs passed. Sending love and prayers ❤❤
You gave Nubs the best you could. He had a warm loving space to live his tiny little life. 💗
6:49 danelle:”these babies are hungry”
baby goats:” YEA, YEA, YEA, YEA”
So very sad! Rest in paradise sweet Nubs.💔
Rest in peace little Nubs
RIP Nubs. you will be missed, little buddy.
I adore how the toddler sleeping pile was perfectly color coordinated. As a person who struggles with various ridiculous symptoms of OCD, I particularly approve of this organized sleeping pile. Well done Toddlers. Next, color sorted and alphabetized by name.
i noticed that too, it was like a gradient from cricket's mostly white to wednesday's almost pure black.
So sorry about little Nubs😢I hope Chunk settles in well with his new buddies ❤️
Poor Nubs, so sorry. Love you videos
Sometimes, you can give all your love but it's not enough. You gave him a great life the short time he was here. Sorry for your loss.
Poor baby! But you did your best with him ❤
I’m so sorry for your loss.
Fly high little Nubs r.i.p 🕊️🕊️
Casper been upset by nubs dying is so heart touching

Nubs is now in a better place, playing with little Delilah and being watched over by Penny.
I’m so sorry. He was so sweet. And Chunk is going to be great. Bless you all.
Rest in peace nubs :(
You were loved, even by a dog
You will be missed ❤
Hi. As a nurse, it's often the change of season is that breathing issues happen in humans too. Love from Clare in New Zealand 🇬🇸🥝
Once I reached middle age, it happens to me too now! I can certainly sympathize with Tilly, watching her grasp for air, it’s very scary for sure!

I don't think it ever gets easy losing a baby goat, I broke when you said Chunk was just next to him...
Night night, Lil Nubs~you were a joy to us, while you were here. Rest! 😢
