I've watched ton of reviews on hybrid smartwatches and this one has finally solidified my decision to purchase this vs the others. (Pininfarina, Garmin, etc)
@@TechItBeforeYouWreckIt Pulled the trigger today :) I really fit the profile of someone that wants a hybrid. Thought about a Garmin Epix or Apple Watch Ultra but realized I don't want/need texts/calls on my wrist
This is a great option if you don't want to charge every night and need a giant screen on your wrist. My second fav is the Fitbit versa. Lasts almost a week on a charge but has some more of the smart watch features.
thankyou for the detailed review. i have 3 question: 1. what is your wrist size, as it fits you perfectly? 2. can I get timer as long press shortcut? 3. are you able to receive whatsapp call notification?
I do like Scan watch. Have they upgraded the stopwatch? A bit sad that I can`t switch a stopwatch and then move to a different display. Also lock feature would have been handy. I have pressed long press button and started stopwatch by accident while being active. I haven`t figured how to record miles... Like after a bike ride it tells me herat rate, and duration but not distance traeled.
Hi Kirk, any chance that you can actually measure how precise the sensors/measurements are. Starting from simple like step counter, then ... whatever is possible to compare. It would be great 👍
@TechItBeforeYouWreckIt it would be fantastic. If there is a chance to compare with some medical devices (SpO2 , heart rate it would be awesome 👌 👏. And hopefully it would help your channel grow, you deserve more subs. P.S. I've just subscribed ☺️
@@TechItBeforeYouWreckItagree with folks to get your experience on steps - in my case it is as high as 50% off compared to my Apple Watch wearing them at same time and circumstances- I have noticed in more intense walks it gets closer to 30% off - I have never gotten a straight response from their customer service
Did you find the sensors are accurate at all vs something like a garmin? The one thing holding me off this is if it's gonna not be correct when I do my runs!
Hello. Does this watch have irregular heart rhythm notifications? I use a Fitbit Charge 4, but I have trouble reading the screen and would like to upgrade to a more readable screen and still get irregular heart rhythm notifications.
How can you make a demo of a watch and not show the timer or stopwatch working. What do you guys even do with your watches if you aren’t measuring time. So frustrating.
Hi, just bought the scanwatch2, and more than a month, I'm having problem in pairing it to the phone. Withings is not helping nor understand why. It almost impossible to each them. My phone was Samsung A72. Just replaced it last week to the new S24. And still the watch is not able to be paired. Can you help and understand why?? Its so frustrating.
Withings does not answer... Not to the mails, or Facebook or else. There is no phone number. Its so disappointing. New 350$ watch with no response or help.
absolutely agree with you, my watch was unable to mesure sp02, not even figuring in the menu. Very difficult to join Withings, they use only a AI in the chat. As you said, VERY frustrating
I find it really strange that the original Scanwatch has afib checking at intervals whereas the Scanwatch 2 only has manual afib check. Bad move, I think.
You didn't test on the accuracy of all its important measurements, including steps, various sports, sleep tracking etc. I thought this is one of the most essential point for a smartwatch review? No?
Right, you're a correct about that, but I'm talking about the watch lugs, which are clearly different. I have found the reason why, though. The lugs differ on the 38mm vs the 42mm. I own the 38, and you reviewed the 42. Hence, the difference.
From what i hear the pins of the old scanwatch would have dead skin buildup which is pretty gross so that’s why they changed it Also the new one looks more elegant imo
Great in deph review! I have a question about the watch that I hoped you could answer: I have heard that you can charge the watch without the proprietary charger on any standard QI Wireless charging pad. Is that correct?
I have not tested that but find that impossible. It uses contact points to charge. Will test when I have access but I'm guessing there is a 1% chance that's true. 😢
I owned the older Withings watch. Battery life is stellar in these devices. The watch also looks premium, video doesn't do it justice.
I agree - in person these watches look VERY high-end and the battery life is INSANE. Thanks for watching and commenting!!
But the display is sooo ugly. You basically HAVE to get a black dial. The rest of the watch is so beautiful why can't they figure out the display

I've tried many of them and I do think the scan watch is among the best. Especially if you want that very classic watch look.

Thanks for this review , actually what I wanted to know . I am looking for smartwatch because My main objective is not to loose my calls .

Incredibly awesome review. Very detailed and offers everything you would want to know.
Thx for the feedback!! Appreciate you watching.

While exercising with tracking on, can you view your heart rate - preferably without having to press the button (with the wrist flick option on)
Countdown is perfect for preparing a cup of tea :)
Great review, I’m worried about the amount of sleep you’re getting 😅
You and me both! Gotta stay up and record those TH-cam videos!! 😂

Awesome suggestions. It's so tough to do this but let me see what I can do. Perhaps I'll wear a fitbit watch simultaneously and see how they compare??

Would like this answered also
can you set the alarm right on the watch with the scanwatch 2? that wasn't possible with scanwatch 1
Great review! Thank you.
Will the Scanwatch 2 work with an Android phone?
100% I've only used it with android
@@TechItBeforeYouWreckIt thank you!
Good video😊

Can honestly say after 4-5 years wearing a smart watch I have never used either feature. 😲
does it have blood.pressure monitoring?

That's super odd. Def didn't have any issues pairing? Might want to return it for a new one. 🤔

I wish they implemented the second hand to the subdial. What a missed opportunity.
Wonder if that would kill the battery life? Just a thought.
Just took delivery of mine today. Got to say the strap is pretty cheap feeling, feels like a £5 strap. Just ordered a replacement.
Well, at least it's easy to replace the band.

Yeah thats stupid Update Coming soon in Late 2024 Scanwatch 1 is the better Opinion
Were you rocking the 38 or 42?
I have watch - this model only comes in 42
42
I just wish it had airplane mode. This constantly connected via Bluetooth. I like to have EMF’s (radiation) limited
Yeah, good point. Not sure if there's a way to turn off Bluetooth. I'll see if I can find that out.

is Withings scanwatch 2 the same as Withings scanwatch hybrid
I don't think this is the Scanwatch 2. Look at the lugs. The lugs on the Scanwatch 2 are totally different than what you're reviewing.
There are a few variants. The pogo plugs are an indicator of gen 1. Lack of pogo is gen 2.
Right, you're a correct about that, but I'm talking about the watch lugs, which are clearly different.

Original Scanwatch much better. Looks better and the new charger is massive. Just get the old version and save money !
Not sure the original Scanwatch is still available!
