What brilliant work, particularly coming from the community itself. In order to scale these techniques up to a global scale, I think that is the skill we need to develop and spread very actively.
Pine Ridge Native American Reservation in USA, and Others, could use this type of restoration, with the Pipeline spills over their only source of freshwater this would be an answer to many prayers!!

Are such deep trenches really more efficient than standard swales, especially on flat land? I didn't see how the trenches created terraces.

I am Montagnard Indigenous Central highland i love trees when I saw ethnic Vietnamese came to Central highland they cut all the forest it’s very sad.
If this plant is endangered and grows well, these plants should be planted alllll over the country and Africa.
Videos on greening Senegal..they are leading the way. Planting millions of trees every rainy season
if they are using rocket stove, they will used less firewood for cooking.
