He was talented but not as hard working as Dravid and Tendulker, he took his cricket for granted, and in later years, he got hit by a tragedy, which took him down completely.. he was kind of a player who could just get off his bed and hit the ground for the match..

Did not do justice to Saeed Anwar. He was a true great. How briefly the six to Alderman is mentioned. That was a rare shot. Down on the knee and nonchalantly hitting the six to the roof of SCG and remember Sydney is a big ground. I still close mt eyes and enjoy the shorts that Saeed used to play. Lovely player.
He lost 4 yrs of his test career in the beginning and 4 yrs towards the end of his career,he played his last test in 2001 where he scored a quick hundred and he was not even 33 years old at dat time and after he lost her daughter in 2001, he hardly played 15-20 ODIs till 2003 world cup so technically he had a small career as compared to his competitors( lara, tendulkar etc)
