It's an official Monty Mole game, the song is a remix of the original track. You're probably right about the logo, back then games ripped everything off, but a lot of the time it was done ironically

It is quite a late game for C64, probably why we didn't pay much attention to it back then when 16 bit computers were all the rage.

Sadly I only had Monty Mole back then, not Monty on the run or this one. Definitely would have liked this one if I had it.
I used to read computer magazines back then and I remember this getting mixed reviews, I think it was pretty good

Parts of the music sound bit off key to me and you can't really beat the Hubbards music on earlier monty mole games.

Looks great, vivid color pallete unlike so many other c64 games.
Good design makes everything pop out very nicely.
Very nice looking platformer, had not seen this one before, might be worth a look.
