notification squadddddd i literally know nothing about keyboards but i want to make one because of ur vids/streams haha
same but i dont even have any money
haha me too
That's so true
i found your channel about a week ago and i watched this on stream last night but i fell asleep as it was 2 am for me. great stream though, i loved it
the keyboard at 2:01:18 is sooooo nice!!!
I haven't tried them personally, but from what I've read/heard the HD800 isn't very well received these days. The HD800S is a bit better received, but if you end up considering headphones in that price range you probably want to check out the offerings from ZMF, Focal, Audeze, MrSpeakers, etc.
@@TaehaTypes seconding this, HD800 is well known for soundstage, but it can be harsh due to an issue it has with certain high frequencies. That aside, it's good if you listen to classical and jazz, but if you're a bass person for example, you'd best look elsewhere. Plus they're picky headphones in regards to what amp you use, ymmv
@@TaehaTypes In the case that you get a well-matching amp, and your music is well recorded / good quality, then it wouldn't be bad. But nowadays there are probably some better options, if high pitch is fatiguing on your ears, then the HD800 is probably a pass
Typing test at 2:03:32
Thx
Did you ever build something with the FEI switches? How do you like it compared to lubed gat yellow? or black?
Quick question, what keycaps are on the keyboard @17:18? I really like them lol
@@TaehaTypes tysm!!! I might have to get a new keyboard once these are back in stock
edit: any suggestions for a board + keycaps to go w it? lmao
Hi, i recently started to watch your videos and the recoded stream and i really want to make my own keyboard, but i want a really deep soundink key board (not silent), and i was thinking about the material for making it... Have you got some advice? Thx. Btw your videos ar too fucking much relaxing and you have some amaizing keyboard
Dang I had no idea you had no heater o.o - I was wondering why you had the coat on lol.
Great vid, waiting for a linear switch comparison for so long
Hey Nathan, how do I go about finding a cable like yours? If I'm right, it's a USB-A to.. some sort of weird breakaway? And then you can use the same sort of breakaway to go to USB-C or Mini USB?
What is the mononoke artisan called?
+Taeha Types Which would be best? Nolive Creams or the normal Creams?
you should get a hotswap board to test the switches heh
i say do asmr unboxings. 1:07:54
Hey what are ur thoughts on the updated novelkeys creams? I heard the leathery feeling is gone now.
@@TaehaTypes awesome does that mean I can replace my retooled blacks with them?
Why are you wearing a rain coat indoors? :D
When are the inks coming out??
What’s a “Gateron ink tjader thanks for the follow”?
I have those Bose speakers. They aight
Keyboard looks like dark bread with pbj
I still need some fei switches lol love the sound not very loud but there is this tone to them that's hard to explain lol I dont get testing switches without keycaps as yoy cant say this is how a switch sounds without a keycap on haha tbe keycap bottoms out on the switch so you have to hear it with that
where do you get typemachina cases?
POM housings too friction resistant to clip in?
What is the best lube for stabilizers?
really like your stuff is there any way for you to build a keyboard like that one at 2:19:35?
atleast what's the name of all parts?
Taeha Types thanks mate!
about to hit that 10k
Taeha, i have a qs for you.
what is YOUR favorite switch????? i cant decide...bout build my diy in the next month or so
gateron yellow is a good linear switch
Dude tealios v2 sounds so smooth.
It’s silent and tactile right?
Linear
The silent tactile zeal switches are called zilents
@@NoDuane right right my bad hehe
So basically im a pleb so what im interested is in which switches are "best " since all i know is that basic knowledge that cherries are creme de la creme which I doubt...
Lubed Gateron Yellows and Blacks are pretty good "budget" switches, and in my experience Gateron Blacks are about as smooth as Vintage MX Blacks(When both are lubed). If you have a large budget lubed Tealios are the linear way to go. If you want to go tactile, Holy Pandas would be your choice. Although you could go Alps, it's hard to find them in good condition.
What jacket is that?
you have a jacket on everytime where do u live
California he says at 1:10
Awesome man!
Bro what jacket is that??
started off with linear, then went to clicky
why is this in my recommended all of a sudden........meh not complaining
Which Lights do you have?
@@TaehaTypes thank you
Excited for the twitch stream today!!!
Great stream how do you know if you win the give away
It will be announced tonight on his stream at 3:30 PM PST
So Cal residents own north face jackets?! lulw

would you be willing to sell the acrylic board ?
@@TaehaTypes ahhh man, i want to buy a board from you so badly. your work is amazing.
@@prada9282 He does commissions: www.taehatypes.com/commissions/
Either you provide the switches/case/PCB/switches/plate etc. and he builds it for $18/hour, or you get him to source and build a custom board for you (min. $800).
Update for 2020 :)
What are your favourite linear switches?
I think he said vint blacks at some point
I love dis
Love this cant wait too watch it all :}
that's a thikk mouse
Those are really silent switches!

First first
35:20 Anne Pro? Pffttttt, it only costs like 1/10 th of any of the boards that Nathan builds (even the keycaps alone cost more than an Anne Pro), no way it can compare...
...It's a joke
