I hate all these comments saying “Ryland better learn to cook before the babies come” or “he’s in for a rude awaking”…..first off if you don’t have kids then you don’t get an opinion 😊 second, if you do have kids then you surely remember we ALL had a learning curve when our kids arrived. Also, parents every single day survive without knowing how to cook and their children are alive. Many many options these days. I’m sure Ryland and Shane are financially able to hire someone to cook meals or have a meal service for their kids.

My father loved cooking and put a little more effort and variety, but as long as we were fed and happy there wasn’t an issue. There are way more options now than back in the day too, all will be fine.
The Lizze/Ryland combo is always extra-great. Glad Ryland eventually decided the 'hassle' of cooking was worth it, and hope he still enjoys them out of the fridge. Also: particularly successful editing on this one. I like Tuesdays (and Wednesdays).
After watching the whole video and seeing how well these turned out, I re-watched to get the exact recipe and directions written down... I'm trying to make these as soon as possible! These would be great for every holiday with the right cookie cutter!

I think people should give Ryland some grace. So he’s feeling lazy in this vlog and he doesn’t enjoy cooking, that doesn’t necessarily mean he will let his children starve. Things can change, people can grow. I can for sure say self-motivation comes a lot harder than motivation for someone you love. I am rarely motivated to make myself lunches, fully knowing I will get hungry while at work but will cook for hours for my boyfriend. Yes, there’s some naïveté in understanding how challenging caring for the babies will be but I have faith they will figure it out.

Just wanted to say I appreciate the HP reference. Also, Ryland really needs to learn how to do this simple stuff because it will be handy with his kids. I mean, not all parents are great cooks. My mom was the queen of the 30-minute meals, but just basic cooking skills can make his life easier. Also, professional cooks are really clean when they work, so that's actually a plus for him...
They’re reading the recipe but not following the recipe, I’m just rolling over here! It all started with them being too lazy to get a measuring half cup out and taking some of that cheese away and they doubled every powder ingredient after that, then they got out measuring cups to measure the liquid and I am cracking up again. It’s always best to get everything you need out before you even start. Ryland hates cooking Ryland is getting ready to have two boys growing up in his home looks like he’s going to have to change that😂 I love when you two do videos together
Just a tip that might help with making this even easier, use a cookie scoop to get perfectly even balls and gently pat them down to desired thickness. Keeps the hands mess free :)

My mom is a good ole southern cook & she taught us to clean as we go when cooking. It has made a huge difference in several friend’s lives. But it doesn’t work for all.
I feel like this is one of the funniest videos I’ve watched in a long time who cuts the parchment paper to fit the cookie sheet before they even put anything on it, who is does it when they’re already in the oven! if I didn’t already love these people I would now😂😂

You and Ryland should spend time with one of your friend's babies so he can get some hands-on experience! It doesn't even have to be filmed! I think it would just get him a little more comfortable handling babies in general. Maybe they have been doing that behind the cameras already. Hopefully they will also be bringing someone with them when they travel to meet and bring home their sons❤ My wife and I just had a baby and the first 3 days feels like a fog because you really aren't sleeping so I can imagine it being 10 times worse with two babies. With my wife and I, since we are both females it has been a challenge because we both want to take on the "mom" role and think our way is what's best for the baby. I think Shane and Ryland may experience some of that also, because there isn't the stereotypical mom and dad role in same-sex relationships (dad's often let the mom take over in the beginning). I'm so excited for them!! ❤❤
I did this with mashed instant potatoes and my air fryer. I love these kinda of receipts. I'm also OCD about cleaning as I go too ryland. If it doesn't get done before I eat, it won't get done until I get to it tomorrow.
