Nice wideo, makes me question why life is starting to feel so lifeless, numb and colorless. Where can i find happiness and motivation in my life that drives me forward?
Is it money, family, friends, hobbys? Ewerything in life seems like im allways calculating what im doing or what others think of me. It kilss litle joys and happiness in day to day life. Where did it all started to go down hill? Maby because social media? I find my self comparing my self to others how good they are doing in life and questioning my life choises. Life feels like its a race and eweryone is comparing themselfs to others how they are doing and how much better they are from that person or that person. Or maby im just delusional.
@@kimrintamaki8411 reading that felt like you took a direct look into my brain and read out what you were seeing fr. I’m still looking for the answers myself but I’ve seen enough glimpses of something even if it’s super rare to believe there’s hope. What I have found to help is when I have take a step back from all of the noise like you said social media which is huge I think, but just step back from all of the voices around us and just try to re center myself on what feels right in that moment when I am ignoring everything else. Maybe that’s playing a game or reaching out to a family member or a friend or my spouse or whatever maybe it’s a workout or a walk or with my pet. But just stepping away from the outside noises best as possible then doing something else with no pressure added no expectations and live it. This for me has had the best impact on recreating the child like joy. And maybe in that there’s a lesson to be learned that’s bigger and life changing but I haven’t found it yet. But I’m trying to build a community for people like us who are struggling so thanks for sharing your thoughts! New video should be out Friday if you’re interested.
In some ways it’s just the reality of life. Life is a race. Everyone is trying to compete against everyone to make more money. Some people do it to survive and just want to live a decent life. But others are greedy and want to out do everyone for many reasons we all are flawed and do shitty things. As an adult we don’t have those rose colored glasses on anymore and see humanity in all its flaws and ugliness. This is throttled by social media and being online. It’s a daily battle to choose to be happy. It’s easy to be negative and see all the negativity online which then reinforces how we perceive the world. There is a lot of good in this world but also a lot of evil too. You just have to do what you can to put some good into it. I think a lot of people including myself fall into this trap especially when you go to work. Then have a few hours to get your responsibilities done and maybe have a few hours to enjoy it before the routine continues. It feels like you don’t have full control of our lives and we just have to deal with it. It’s hard to slow down and be at peace when the clock keeps ticking and you got worries, stress and work the next day. You just gotta focus on what you can control. We can have this negative mentality of everything feels bland now. And stay stuck and ponder it forever. Or we can keep good people close and keep moving forward. Enjoying the present as much as possible because that’s when we are going to have the most joy.
Sorry for the late rambling novel. I think about what you said a lot but this video and post gave me some 3rd person perspective.
@ thanks so much for your perspective!! What’s so interesting to me is how so many of us can be going through something so similar yet we all have a different experience with it unique to our own lives and situation and bc of that we all find different ways to cope are escape it all together. It’s definitely a hard thing to escape and just place your mind onto the positive side of it but I’m learning everyday to just live in the moment and stop putting so much pressure on each interaction or situation I’m in. Thanks for your comment I’d love it if you’d stick around and help me build a community of people who can come together and help each other out. Maybe leave a like on the video if you fill inclined so it can reach others that might find some familiarity with the video and this talk!
Will do. I see you’re a relatively new channel what do you want to do with your channel? This is the first vid I watched of yours. I’ll check out more of your vids.
@ I appreciate that fr! And I really like the likes of bbkdragoon, doozy, and once faded. But past those guys who I take inspiration from I want to make like old school gaming commentaries like the old machinima days. Mostly on struggles in life and self improvement and really just sort of like meditative commentaries over gameplay. I’d also like to at some point dive into some more complicated video essay style videos. Then on top of all of this of course I plan on making more true gaming content at some point. There will maybe every once in a while be a gym video or something but who knows. I’m also open to suggestions for ideas. And if you choose to stick around please always tell me what you think I could improve on!
Go touch grass man.
@@kaniencrone7438 what about typing go touch grass man required you to re edit it?like how do you mess something so simple up? Maybe you should work on that situation before telling someone to go touch grass😂.
@@kaniencrone7438 but thanks for the comment! Helps the algorithm.🙌🏻
