    Hello Janna, could you please help me if at the end i have final score and it relate to label for next question (single response) e.g :
    Code 1 if score is 1 to 5
    Code 2 if score is 6 to 10
    Code 3 is score is 11 to 15
    Automatically coded base on final score and the question status must be read only, so the interviewer cannot change the pointer

      Hi! Great question! So - what I'd do is: 1) Create a calculate question to calculate the score. then 2) Create another calculate question that has a nested 'if' statement to apply the correct 'code' - for example, say 'if(${score}

    Excellent!! much appreciated Janna. Please can you upload some videos on validating numeric value and alert user immediately to input correct value in survey123 forms rather not wait until the user hits submit button to alert about the incorrect entry. this helps if the form has many pages to scroll and correct the entry.

      @@HumanitarianDataSolutions I am rating a teacher's classroom performance using a scale of 1 to 5, the instrument have different parts that it is measuring, for example: Lesson Planning have 5 questions where Excellent is 1 point, Good is 2 points, Fair is 3 points, Poor is 4 points and Very Poor is 5 points. So I want the average of the 5 questions to show automatically after rating the teacher. I hope I am clear enough. Additionally, you can share an email address for me to send you a screen shot of what I want to do. Thank you for your help.

    Can we use more than one if statment in the calucation row, if yes give an example.Thanks

    • @HumanitarianDataSolutions
      @HumanitarianDataSolutions  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you can. For example, to add up two numbers based on response values, I think you could do something like:
      if(${question one}>3, 1,0)+if(${question one}>3, 1,0)
      You could also do nested if statements.
      Does this help? What did you have in mind?
