Watson is going to set the Browns organization back by 3 years at the very least. Cap space tied up for Watson and then they don't have 1st draft picks foe 2023 and 2024. Probably going to be 4 to 5 years before they are even competitive again. If I'm a Browns fan I'm picking a new team and saying good bye forever. He's right. The lawsuits will never be forgotten, but if he beats the lawsuits and he goes back to playing elite football then over time nobody's going to care. That's the reality of it because at the end of the day nobody truly will know what happened. There's his side, there's the other women's side and in the middle the truth.

@@jeffb.4800 Bro you are just passing judgment on him when the cases are still going. Even if the cases don't go his way and the browns are forced to let him go, He's still going to get some of that money. There's a thing called guaranteed money and the whole contract right now is fully guaranteed. They would have to prove he lied to them after them. Probing his situation.

He need serious therapy and to get well. Addicts don't think they are doing any thing wrong until they admit they have a problem.

Question: If the Texans become involved in the Watson situation and are proven to be culpable, could the Browns appeal to the NFL to void the trade between the Browns and Texans? And would the district attorney's in Texas reexamine the case and file charges against Watson? People are dancing around the issue that his reputation will always be a PR nightmare for the NFL and any team that he is with.

I feel that the NFL is going to be as shuddle about this because I guarantee that there is more than one owner who has or does the same thing as DeShawn mostly talking about the owner of the Pats and if the nfl goes after the players for this they will have to go after the owners too.

Watson is getting suspended for 75 games. Multiple NFL players have been suspended for multiple games for one accusation or issue. So with 24 cases you can assume he's right around 70 plus games

If DeShaun had done the wise and prudent thing 15 months ago and settled at $20,000,000, then he would have been ready to play in the NFL in 2022 and the NFL would have been pleased that this bad situation had gone away...Mr. Florio is right...Take the short term Roethlisberger reputation hit and live to have an extended and healthy NFL career...
