Nigel was mocking Noctis telling him that his poison can be applied to any part of his body, which makes him deadly in battle. It’s kinda similar to Huosha splashing those starlight contents during the boss fight.
During his alleged "death" he told noctis that his poison was only applicable on his weapons, however he shows us that the poison was actually airborne and is currently travelling through his lost arm

Something i don't like about Noctis right now is that his face doens't look nothing like his first sprite , his design morphs from his first sprite to his splash art to his new sprite to his 3D model , and the last one makes him just look like any male character from other 3D gacha out there
