      @captain_buggles ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Even without evolving, it would be way better if it were just more synergistic and efficient in how it's designed.
      Pointless amount of stats wasted on defenses and sp. atk.
      I'm not proposing anything *super* insane because it's an early route bug, but still.
      Canon spread is 60/79/92/52/86/35.
      And I actually think it could stay pretty slow and still benefit from its other traits, saving some points for them.
      So I would propose like 60/109/72/42/66/55, even being purposefully conservative with how much the Sp. Atk gets lowered so that the minmax feels less "tryhard".
      Even just 55 speed really boosts how much it would outspeed after they get affected by Silk Trap or Sticky Web.
      And I would give it priority, so that there are more situations where Stakeout is actually good for something.
      Shadow Sneak would make a decent amount of sense, given that it's an ambush hunter. Mach Punch could arguably work when it already learns a couple of Fighting-type moves.

    Idk if anyone commented this but one move that always interested me was toxic thread. It’s basically a poison type string shot, it lowers the opponents speed by one stage, and poisons them. If the opponent is steel or poison, they can still get their speed lowered. Idk if it hits two targets in doubles like string shot but it is quite a unique move. If it does it hit two Pokémon in doubles, it would be a better poison gas, without the poor accuracy. I'm one of the single digit number of people in the Ariados fan club and I think it's criminal that it was gifted such a neat move, Toxic Thread, but doesn't have the stats to do anything with it. Sticky Web plus a move that can poison AND lower speed is awesome utility, but it's too slow and not bulky enough to make good use of it (though I did try in Sun). Give this move to a Poison type with middling speed rather than abysmal and we could see some Venoshock/Merciless strats really pop off!

Sadly, Gen3 couldn't allow u to transfer mons so all of 'em are stuck in a past gen & VC rerelease didn't give out any of the moves available exclusively in Gen2. But you're not in the wrong for not knowing that nor mixing it up w some other move that has "kiss" in its name.

Having to rely on Electric Take Down for physical coverage is awful and I wish they experiment and give away Volt Tackle more cause not only is it dumb to get being egg move only and with an item condition too but it’s limited on a Pokémon with base 90 attack (55 if you’re using Light Ball Pikachu over Raichu)

    Asside from that, I wish that thematically Houndstone would get revival blssing. Like the whole thing with the pokemon is that it was such a loyal pokemon it came back from the dead.
