I used to edit Call of Duty videos on Sony Vegas or After Effects 7/8 years ago, now I'm starting a new project and it's INCREDIBLE to see the progress of this world. Editing now it's so chilling.
Of all the video editors that I've tried, CapCut has the most intuitive approach to keyframes (plus the time-saving auto-captions feature) and I now enjoy editing even more because of it. 😂
Great to hear! 🔥
2nd?

@@JorisHermans hey, lets say i have a video and i want to put an image on top of it (so a second layer) is there a way to only affect that second layer with effects ? cause rn if i put a blure effect or filter or what ever over everything, both get affected but i only whant the image to be affected, how?
@@bUildYTThere should be a way. Did u ever figure it out?
this is what we want as a beginner. straight to the point and easy to understand. keep going
hey bro where do i get capcut because its website is not working please hellp thanks
@@nikhilraykwar543 im just install it from windows store (which is free) from my computer. so i dont know any other website bro
@@nikhilraykwar543App Store
the app is better @@nikhilraykwar543
@@nikhilraykwar543 I have a samsung phone and I could just download from google play.
So glad I found this video. It took Joris 8 minutes to thoroughly explain these features. Other tutorials take up to an hour, and you don't learn nearly as much. Thanks!
No joke! I learned video editing by just watching two of your videos. God Bless you Man!!
Absolutely true about transitions, when you begin you just slap it on every time possible. Once you get more accustomed to editing you use them only when they enhance the video.
The simpler the better and less is more
💯🔥
the fact that your so spot on with the video and details and getting to straight to the point and not stalling the details makes this video so good!! big thumbs👌
CapCut is too amazing and easy to use. I didn’t expect a free app has such high quality and speed of exporting a video.
I appreciate that you're making CapCut videos as well.
I use keyframes to zoom in a portion of a clip that I want but all these features are useful and will make your videos 10x better
Wow, I never knew you could do dynamic captions! I just did a whole short word by word 😂. It wasn’t that bad but it’s way better to have it automatic. Glad I found your videos!
Incredibly helpful to a complete novice. Truly appreciate the tips! Stay well!
Thank you! I've tried a few apps and find Capcut for Mac the easiest for me to use. I'll be using your tips when I get to play around more.
i used Adobe Premiere/After Effects before but I was blown away by CAPCUT. This is a software that knows how to keep up with the modern world. And the FREE version is out of this world amazing. Keep it up! ❤
Yup, for lots of creators CapCut is all they'll ever need 💯👌🏻
Yes, Capcut is for modern world.
I just bought your 15 Cine Luts in your Shop. What a life saver for all my poor footage. Thank you so much!
I just learned so much in 8 minutes. Thank you, Joris!
That was AMAZING! my first video editor i learned on was Sony Vegas....it was SOOO complicated....this is super easy!
Wow, finally a clear and honest tutorial. I have only been using the software for 1 day, after many years of Filmora, and I am quite satisfied. However, I miss, for example, straightening the horizon, leveling an obliquely filmed video image, removing the background of a person and automatically lowering the sound of music when I comment on the screen. Thanks for the useful tips. Greetings Eddy (Belgium)
As always Joris, I can count with your videos to learn usefull tips! Thank you 😊

I am so in love with your work , the way I have just been on a hunt for someone to help me understand these things… as a new TH-camr , this inform is very insightful… thank you very much 🤗
Great video dude each segment was just the right length no extended waffle.
I love this❤..
Can you show us how you added those writeups e.g how you typed the “noise reduction” before explaining what it was ???
I love the fact that CC gives you a plethora of different tools, unlike the other editors that want you to pay for everything
They've been slowly but regularily moving most of those free features to their paid version, so you gotta act fast if you want to edit some vids now for free lol
@greatunz67 😆 I just saw. And that's ok. It's inexpensive and I'll probably pay
@@greatunz67 Yes it's like an infestation of little "PRO" icons in the upper of left of EVERYTHING
been using premiere, and this is what I need😵💫 tired of finding amd creating transitions in adobe lol😂 subs for this
Just the tips I needed you get started, tnx!
Joris, your 2 videos on CapCut are first-rate! What is your suggestion for a workpath to jump a video back & forth between an Android and a Windows PC to take advantage of the features in both CapCut and DaVinci Resolve? For example, auto beat-marking in CapCut looked awesome at 4:04 in your other video, and magic mask is incredible in DVR. What is the best way to take advantage of both programs?
A Bytedance product. Always good to look at data that will be linked to you as well as data used to track you.
This video is great, especially for newbies. Thank you. 😊
Gracias! Thanks very clear, useful and well explained
Nice to see you using your footage of Dominican Republic here! ❤
Fab vid. Good pace and really helpful. Thanks. And your positivity is infectious.
Perfect, thanks man!!!
I am a Kinemaster user and I just discovered Capcut and I love it. The only thing I hate about Capcut is the video compression when importing 4k videos. So annoying took a lot of time compressing video. I haven't even allowed it to reach 100% bcoz of it took soo long.
Hey Joris, your tutorial is very easy to follow. I appreciate the information that you share after each tip. That answers questions like why I should use the feature, or why I should not. Cool video tutorial. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
@@JorisHermans It was and it still is, quite easy to understand. Thanks a million.
I SUBSCRIBED AFTER I HEARD YOU SAY DONT GIVE UP,YOU CAN DO IT...THOSE WORDS MAY JUST BE A PART OF YOUR CHARACTER,BUT THEY HIT LIKE A TRAIN,I THANK GOD FOR YOU,AND THANK YOU FOR SHARING
that split scene helps my life!
Loving your content bro
Thank you so much ❤
Learning CapCut, and you make it easy - thanks brother! 😄😄😄
My pleasure!
Thank you!!
Wow and for Free AND even motions tracking! Curious bro can you advise how to do endless zoom videos (I’d be using a dozen MidJourney Zoom out images)
It's very useful. I especially liked Tracking. Now I will ask you one question, maybe you know. I have a powerful laptop. It does not lag when working on video. But after rendering the finished video lags. What could be the problem? I.e. during video editing everything is very fast and smooth. But after rendering the video lags. This happens with 4K video. That is, when the original video is in 4K. In 1080 everything is perfect. This problem was not there before. I made more than 20 videos in 4K without any problems. All rendered in 5 minutes. But after I upgraded Windows I started having such problems. Codecs didn't help, reinstalling Windows and the program itself didn't help either.
As a thank you, I will definitively buy the pro version even though the free is more than enough
VERY HELPFUL, thank you a lot ❤️
thanks for this man going to use it more now on my videos
So nice! Very understandable, am beginning to like video editing!
Thank you bro, very useful !
You're amazing bro, thanks so much, works perfectly

"Adobe I'm looking at you" that made me smile. Great video!
Thanks for visiting my hometown!

you touch my heart with this videos bro keep it up
Cool! Thank you ❤
I’m just starting and cap cut is my go to. This really helping out bro!
Awesome love it
Thanks i just started my channel and this really helps!
Hi Josh. Really learn a lot from your videos and you explain them simply which makes them easier to follow. One thing that really bugs me about capcut is this. When in play back mode, if you have the timeline clips expanded out to do some finer editing, the playback cursor doesn't continue, so the timeline is static, meaning I have to pause, play, pause etc to keep getting to the next part of the timeline. All other editing software I use, all move the timeline along. Did you know why capcut doesn't? Otherwise, great video as usual. ATB. Martin.

Hi can I ask you please if there is any way to ass highlight to muscles in a video workout with CapCut? Thanks
@@bUildYTyeah there is a way, click on the effect and click object, and then select the overlay. (Sorry if this doesn’t work, I don’t use that much)
I was downloading the capcut software when I get this perfect timing and loved the hacks i guess you can call them 😂
Love your videos. God bless you.
Great tutorial 👏🏼♥️
