That interview was narrow minded and one sided. Blacks that think that way are dangerous and hold a dangerous place space in society. I remember Candace Owens saying affirmative action is stating blacks aren't good enough or aren't able to obtain high spaces. No it's the fact if everything the same and they look at the color of your skin, some will choose a white for the common company color instead if black. Now to Elder talks on black fathers not in the home is an issue is true. Yes he explained his father bootstrap method but didn't explain why his father was pushed out the game at a young age. He didn't explain the help this man had getting from Georgia to California. He didnt explain the people that took the time with this man having a 3rd grade education. There are so many nuances of help along the way before seeing the bigger picture. He never discussed the help of his Mother or who his Mother was on the midst of the argument. Then the reason it is systemic because the steps cities take to move major hospitals, schools, and black owned grocery stores out of the black neighborhood is sickening. This is a narrow minded rhetoric. Political presence is real but it's takes one black face like Elder to derail a movement like Judas. He expressed how can one tell me how to think, when he is continuing the same thought process of people from the 1960s. They pulled themselves up and l got bombed, raided, and degraded. The new generation is split because now black women are the problem. Then once again it's the lack of Fathers in the household because of the systematic process of keeping them out by resources being stripped when they are present. Now they are two low income people in the household with three kids.
The bullcrap spilled about the people losing their home when it's known that black property taxes went up at an alarming rate was crazy. This once again was systematically done because blacks owned the prime real estate of the inner city, where now whites positioned all their jobs. They withdrew resources until the land was cheap enough to come back in and buy for a fraction of the price, then revitalized the neighborhoods to be back comfortable for their children. The suburbs are still expensive because usually they aren't any apartments just neighborhoods of owned yt property. Now you are a black man with all his accolades, but you will still get paid a fraction of the yt employee's salary with less accolades in the same position previously. Yes I know someone this has happened to currently. Stop.
