We had a 1st gen Echo in our master bathroom for listening to music in the morning th-cam.com/users/postUgkxABghAEkaIDGZfHRBH3D3rBrlraNmnC71 and while in the shower. I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.

Exactly...and when your speakers are moving like that you have unloaded the ports and that will give you tons of distortion (ports being a hole or passive radiators).
well when you do that it turns off all the dsp and compressors limiters I'm not sure but it's more like getting the raw output from the amplifier in the speaker. correct me if I'm wrong about something

indeed it disables the digital sound processing, and even though it lets play low frequencies it will also affect the other mids and high frequencies possibly making it sound harsh and not as punchy (by flattening the upper bass boost). it will also drain your battery a lot faster because low bass needs more juice. the best solution would be for the user to be able to make the tuning of the sound by it's own taste with a software then uploading the firmware to speaker
Why so complicated? Just use an Equalizer App or the integrated Equalizer ( if it is a good Eualizer ofc ) So you can make your own curve like you want and you can lower the sub bass frequencys so it wont do harm but still has the low frequencys. Could be a benefit in small rooms or when it is sitting in a corner.
On the xtreme, this turns on and off their equalizer tune that they have designed for the xtreme, It sets the eq to a flat response, which can be handy for indoor listening, or when you're trying to be quiet. By default, it comes with the low and high range boosted for loudness, but also I guess it cuts out the ultra low frequencies. The speaker will sound less boomy with the DSP off, even if it has a lower frequency response.
+Evan Jones when you have it in the low frequency mode don't listen to it on full blast or really high volumes because it can cause distortion and might damage the speakers
I was excited to use this as I think 80hz on my jbl xtreme is too high but then I looked in the comments and realised that it will turn off all of the limiters etc.. I don't want to risk blowing my xtreme :(((
+remo spadaccini it'll be fine as long as you don't play it on super loud volumes, I've mentioned it in the video, you can test it by playing a bassy song and slowly turn it up, I don't use volumes past 70% on my speaker.
JDog Vids just tried it out and it was ok ish. The jbl xtreme isn't really made for sub 70hz anyway since the passive radiators are tuned that way so It sounded a bit farty. I turned it off and for some reason it sounds even better than before for some reason. It's like before I tried this, the jbl xtreme sounded very unbalanced. Then again I have poor ears and the difference in air pressure can affect how sound travels so maybe it was just very in favour of low frequencies today lol. Just hoping it stays this good.
remo spadaccini I was thinking that it resets it but wasn't really sure of it, thanks for confirming it! Also your extreme probably sounds better because when you had it in this other mode it was able to stretch out the spiders (suspension) on the speaker allowing the speakers to move more, I also noticed this with my speaker.
That’s the only downdraw to it, you have to listen out for the distortion and don’t play over the volume it distorts at, please be careful with using it
Basically, it’s really just a gimmick, I wouldn’t recommend it because if played too high in volume it can make the speakers distort, it’s more for looks and nothing else, thanks for watching and I hope you enjoyed!!! :D
i would use it to get a bit on around 40 - 65 Hz. Because that is where bass drum and real kick bass comes in. On Stock settings it is limited to 70 Hz and cuts off this bass and you will just hear upper base which lets it sound a little bit like a speaker in can. I would recommend IF using this mode, use an Equalizer and cut down everything below 30 and dont crank 50 - 60 Hz too high. Just high enough to hear those frequencys, but not being too much stress to the speaker. But i bought me a Dockin D Fine. Its a way better speaker and cheaper. Its actual 2 way system, has much better frequency response overall. It is called JBL Extreme Killer for a reason and is also german made. It makes MUCH more Bass, is a bit louder and the heights are awsome at least for a bluetooth speaker. It ACTUALLY hits 50 hz easily. If you play with room acoustics the bass is more than on many bookshelf systems and can even get too much ( without distortion ) Dockin D Fine is the nearest to Hi Fi on Bluetooth speakers except some 300€ + speakers. The only downsites are that it is "only" splash proof and a bit bigger. But i guess the majority does not even need those features. Its more a nice to have but not a must have. I use it mostly on my workspace. Sometimes i tie it on my backpack when i go outside. Its quiet a good back massage.
Press the power and volume plus button together for at least 10 seconds it will reset your device. It that doesn't work maybe the battery is worn out. 🇬🇧👍
the low frequency doesnt work i did what you said to do and mines not pulssing like urs is and i have a JBL Charge 3 and the 5 lights come on and the the pair mode flashes next to the power button what am i doing wrong?
Don’t worry you don’t need to take the cover off to turn the dsp off (low frequency mode on), I just did that to show you the speakers to prove they are indeed picking up the lower frequencies, thanks for watching I hope you enjoyed :D
+Pablo Hernandez I have actually tested that, as long as the speaker doesn't demand a whole lot more power than what the charge 3's amp can handle then it will work flawlessly, if the speaker does need to much power than it will clip the amp and the sound will keep cutting.
Cool video, didn't know about this, but I have a question about my Charge 3. Recently one of the drivers messed up. The right one is perfect but the left one sounds terrible. Anything with bass sound very bad. I was wondering if you know where I can buy a replacement. I've looked online but I can't seem to find much info about it. Thanks in advance.
Hello! I'm sorry to hear about your charge 3, the exact thing happened to my charge 3 except it was the right speaker, I fixed it with my old Skullcandy barricade speaker but it took ALOT of time and effort because I had to actually grind away some of the charge 3 speaker cut out, I know you don't want to do it like that, I've looked around as much as I could and didn't find anything, sometimes on eBay people will sell their individual speakers from the charge 3 but it's usually kinda pricy, I'll keep looking out for you and update you if I find anything.
+Motocross Ktm you can do it either way as long as the speaker is powered on you will be able to do this, sorry for late responce ive not been to active on here lately haha
Hey man i need advice. My jbl charge 3 doesnt want to turn on and when i charge it the light starts to blink as if its charging but it doesnt charge at all
I’m sorry to hear about that! It sounds to me maybe the battery has possibly gone bad? I have a skullcandy barricade and it did the same thing, either that or maybe some of the wiring maybe come undone but don’t hold me to that, have you tried factory resetting it? (Hold the Bluetooth pairing button and the volume up for 10-15 seconds I think), if you haven’t taken it apart or anything I’d suggest contacting jbl about it if you still have it under warranty if resetting it doesn’t work.
+Fantasticus I was playing a 5 hz test tone and playing a low frequency song, they can move that slow but usually move pretty fast and have big excursion
Holy shit! This has restored my Charge2 to its full glory! Ever since I've done a firmware update, it seemed that it had less volume and a lot less bass than what I remembered. The difference is colossal, in both volume and bass! And no, I don't get any weird distortion.
It sounds ok in a car, I’d say it can get a little louder than a cars stock speaker system without distorting but the road noise and just the way it is in a car it’s basically you hear everything but the bass with the charge 3 in a car, I often use my charge 3 in a vehicle when I’m too lazy to hook up the old fm transmitter thingy, I mean you’d have to have a very very silent interior but even then I have to give it to any cars stock speaker system, the only car I saw it do better in bass and loudness in was in my dads 2003 ford expedition (it had a built in sub but it had no power to it) and it sounded absolutely awful, the charge 3 beat it but like I said don’t expect a huge difference. I’m sorry for making this a long reply but I hope this helps and gives you a good idea of what I’m trying to say, thank you for watching and if you have any other questions feel free to ask! :D
How do you know if it's back in it's original frequency? Would it sound more like a beat instead of a bass? And does the low frequency reduce the beat and make into a smooth bass!?
+FazeTug it will make the bass sound a little smoother and it will seem as if it reduced bass, but that is because in this mode it actually makes the speaker play at its original flat sound, to ensure this mode is no longer enable you can either hold Bluetooth pairing button and volume down at the same time, or you can just simply turn the speaker of and the next time you turn it on it will be back in it's original mode.
+RoboxRazor45 yes it is the same way, you can also turn off the speaker and the next time you power it back on it'll be back to normal. I hope this helps :)
The most standard and most shitty song for "Basstests" on youtube which i would not consider bass test but excursion test. The frequencys used in the song are too low in most cases to really test the bass you are hearing. There are better songs for real bass testing and testing the frequency response of your speakers which helps flattens it out with an EQ. This is more a "Look how my speaker moves hihihihi" song
JDog does this still works? Just asking. If it does, does the red light stay there or does it go away because I don't know if it is in low mode or normal.
Broke passive radiator is almost impossible but you can using 100% low frequency mode for long time. Btw broke Flip 4 with Bass Is the easiest from all jbl
+lil pianist No, it is completely safe to use the speaker in the low frequency mode, I wouldn't prefer listening to higher volumes on it because it can distort from too much bass
When i turned it on, the radiators weren't even moving a bit. So that makes me Think that this mode was already 'on' out of the box. I have a refurbished charge 3
It can be damaging on very high volumes such as 65% and up but you should be fine on lower volumes, you can simply just power off the speaker and that’ll put the speaker back to stock mode or do the same process you did to turn it on to also turn it off, hope this helped! :)
trisha60 I don't know, the same thing has happened to me, almost every jbl speaker I've ever owned has had some issue. I'm sorry, I know this isn't much helpful.
its so annoying right! they dont wanna give me a refund, they keep saying they will fix it and theres an issue again! I'm fed up, wish i never brought it!
trisha60 yes it is very annoying, jbl is an amazing company but They're speakers have an issue of the voice coil rubbing against the magnet, and if it's not that then it's a blown speaker.
what's the problem with the ones you're receiving? if they decide to send you another one ask them to test it before to make sure it works well. also next time try buying from a store where you can test it yourself
+SnazeDzn if you turn the speaker up to loud with this mode on it will most likely distort, if you use the speaker in this mode I wouldn't go over 60% volume.
Does work on the JBL Xtreme also if anyone was curious, though personally the only thing I use sometimes is the flat mode (Bluetooth button and the volume down button)
The Cool Brothers when activated one of the led lights will turn red and the rest will turn blue, and if your not sure if the mode if off you can just power your speaker off and the next time you turn it back on it will be back in its regular mode
MAN FOR GS TELL ME! what exact button is "bluetooth pairing" button? The one which has the form of bluetooth logo or the one which is for pairing speakers?
+3DTwister YT it improves the treble alot but the bass is reduced alot due to the lower bass notes, the speaker can distort if played too high of volume, don't listen to those other people saying it doesn't distort because it can and will if played too loud
+3DTwister YT no problem! I'm terribly sorry for my late response, it displayed your comment into the spam comment section and I didn't notice it until I checked the spam.
You do not have to open to use mode and I only did it for show, it isn’t necessarily dangerous but can be if you play the speaker to high of volume because it can distort easily given that this mode disables the safety feature to protect it from over playing too hard, just be careful and as long as you know what distortion sounds like you’ll be good to go! I hope this helped you my friend! :D
Please help! After i turned on bass mode and then turned it off, all time after i turn on speaker it automatically playing on bass mode. I know, i can turn this mode off manually, but limiters cannot work properly. Can i reset or do something else with my Charge 3?
Максим Ивасюк you can't try and reset you're speaker, to do that just hold down the Bluetooth pairing button and the volume up button at the same time for 5-10 seconds, I've done this and my speaker was fine after.
i tried resetting it but i didn't see any changes. After turning off low freq. mode limiters doesn't limit bass on main drivers, and on regular modes drivers might make sound crackling on 80-100% volume, i afraid to do it above 75%. The passive bass drivers becomes less 'agressive' but the main sound drivers are unstable. after pressing "+" and "Bluetooth" buttons appears white LEDs on Power and JBL connect button and the speaker turns off, then i turns on my speaker and bass mode appears again. can i do something with it? Are there any other combination of buttons or something else? P.S. Firmware update 1.4.1 didn't help me. P.S.S. The speaker didn't get crackling sound, and it wasn't overheated.
I deeply apologize for the extremely late response, to answer you’re question it is depending on whether you overdrive you’re speakers and cause them to distort, just be careful to not cause distortion and you’ll be fine!
skysky sk yeah i loved the way mines sound (lacking highs) (medium lows) (and powerfull loud mids) after thenupdate it has louder highs and lows but that powerfull mids i loved is non existence anymore:( it sounds like a different speaker to the one i purchased. So sad
Sir can you help me? I press the wrong botton instead of low volume and Bluetooth botton i have pressed high volume and play/Pause volume after that I couldn't connect to my speaker anymore😞
Oliver Ace Sibugan you just reset your speaker, tell me everything you tried, I accidentally did this as well but I was able to reconnect to it. But I can try to help you.
Does it work on jbl charge 3 first copy? If.yes than this button are to be pressed when speaker is off or on? And please explain me that what does it do to sound quality
Yes it should work on mostly all jbl Bluetooth speakers, make sure the speaker is on then press and hold Bluetooth pairing button and volume down for up to 15 seconds until you see the led lights light up and one turn red, to go back to regular mode do the same process or turn your speaker off and it'll be back to normal the next time it's powered on. Sound quality wise the sound gets much flatter, think of it of having the settings on your car stereo set all plain/flat, this is how the speaker would sound if jbl didn't equalize it and left it stock that the actual sound you'd get from it, you have to be careful when getting between 70 to 100 percent volume because the bass can become too much and cause distortion possibly damaging the speakers if played too long if they are distorting. I hope this answered you're question or at least gave you an idea of how it works, if you use it in this mode just be careful and know you're speakers limits :)
From my experience, DO NOT GO FULL VOLUME when on LFM, it could cause the bass radiators to go wild and potentially cause damage to it (luckily my friends cut the music immediately and I set it back to normal mode)
+Nigel Loke thank you for stating that, I try telling people but they only listen to "aswin frn" and he tells them it won't cause damage but it can and will if you don't be careful, I'm glad you're friends noticed.
+charlie reed yes it is very normal, also have you watched the video all the way through, in it I said a warning to not play the speaker any higher than about 60% to 70% volume to ensure the speaker does not become damaged due to over excursion or distortion
+GearsnakeSX to make sure the mode is fully off you can just simply power off your speaker so the next time you turn it on it will be back in it's regular mode
Tried it on my Flip 3 and the bluetooth pairing button and volume down together it says "six four" ? any ideas? It crackles with some songs and some don't, is this a defect?
I do not really understand it. I turned the mode on (on low volume) and the bass has gone. I turned it off and the bass has came back. Then why does it called bass mode and bass boost? If it is turned on, what is the advantage in it?
You'll have to watch other videos about it but on the bottom you'll see a crease and you need a flathead to open it a little and there's two screws you need to remove total on the bottom, when get them out pull from the front of the grill where the jbl logo is very carefully and then once up you can start pulling from the back side slowly, im sorry I know I might be confusing you but it's hard to explain via comments, there are plenty of videos out there just search "how to remove grill on jbl charge 3" or "how to remove cover on jbl charge 3"
The jbl charge 3 comes stock with its sound tuned by jbl the way they want it to sound, okay so you know how a car stereo system is right? Your turn it up too high and it distorts, well essentially that’s what it is in the video and that’s how the charge 3 sounds if it had all flat presets, just imagine your car with its sound all on flat presets, like say you keep the bass, treble and mids in the middle and don’t adjust it, I’d recommend leaving it in the stock setting that the speaker comes with and just stay away from what I did in the video because like I said if you turn it up too high it will distort and if it distorts too long we all know what could potentially happen, thanks for watching!! Also sorry if what some of what I said may have seemed like I was trying to sound like a jerk but I couldn’t think of another way to word it lol
The regular mode was made for having the speaker at a lower volume cause I tried low frequency mode on it at a lower volume there was no bass vs the regular mode which had a lot of bass
Yes, do the same thing you did to turn the mode on or simply power off your speaker and it will reset to original mode and be back to normal next time you power it on, thanks for watching! :D
+Andy 278 yes, you turn it off the same way you turn it on, you can also just simply power off your speaker and it'll be back in it's regular mode the next time you turn it on

@@prncechino9075 Yes. Though it's not just for you but also for anyone reading the comments

It's not distorted, but the speakers plus the radiators aren't powerful enough to make you hear any frequency below 20hz.
biggirlpanties 99 - humans can't hear frequencies below 20hz, perhaps feel them.
feel them yes. But not on a tiny jbl speaker. You would need a hughe 12" or higher powerful sub to really FEEL them

i would use it to get a bit on around 40 - 65 Hz.
If you play with room acoustics the bass is more than on many bookshelf systems and can even get too much ( without distortion )
Dockin D Fine is the nearest to Hi Fi on Bluetooth speakers except some 300€ + speakers.
The only downsites are that it is "only" splash proof and a bit bigger. But i guess the majority does not even need those features. Its more a nice to have but not a must have.
I use it mostly on my workspace. Sometimes i tie it on my backpack when i go outside. Its quiet a good back massage.
whyd does it turn mine off when i turn it on
Press the power and volume plus button together for at least 10 seconds it will reset your device.
Is it possible that it is turned on by default on my flip 3?
Can I ask why do you take the cover off, do you have to do that for it to work
Don’t worry you don’t need to take the cover off to turn the dsp off (low frequency mode on), I just did that to show you the speakers to prove they are indeed picking up the lower frequencies, thanks for watching I hope you enjoyed :D
*please help me ... i Dont know if i have low freaquenzi mode on... how do i know ??*
PLEASE HELP ME I GOT THE BOX YESTERDAY TO MY BIRTHDAY !!!
When you start the speaker its always turned off
@@kingslayer2731 Thanks 😀😀👍👍
Interesting so what if I wire up some better speakers to in that are capable of more and turn on that mode
+Pablo Hernandez I have actually tested that, as long as the speaker doesn't demand a whole lot more power than what the charge 3's amp can handle then it will work flawlessly, if the speaker does need to much power than it will clip the amp and the sound will keep cutting.
Doesn’t that mode eat up more battery because bass takes a lot of power
Do playing hz (0-10) on lwm will not spoil jbl?
I have the charge 3 what did you do to make the radiators do that
Snowmobile m7 think it's a self-made mp3 with frequency you can't hear. I thought first they will do this when you turn on low frequency mode
You press the two buttons when you have connected the bluetouth to your phone or when you dont?
+Motocross Ktm you can do it either way as long as the speaker is powered on you will be able to do this, sorry for late responce ive not been to active on here lately haha
JDog Vids no problem for the late response thank you btw
When I put mine on low base it just sounds tinney
Does it just stay like that or also with music
Do the radiators really move that slowly or is it a camera illusion thing?
+Fantasticus I was playing a 5 hz test tone and playing a low frequency song, they can move that slow but usually move pretty fast and have big excursion
It varies the song of course
Holy shit! This has restored my Charge2 to its full glory! Ever since I've done a firmware update, it seemed that it had less volume and a lot less bass than what I remembered. The difference is colossal, in both volume and bass! And no, I don't get any weird distortion.
I’m glad to hear that!! :D
Is there something similar for the Philips bt6600?
How does this sound inside the car.. In don't like factory speakers of my car.
Thanks a lot... That's really a helpful info.. cheers
No problem bro! :D
But what happens when you press the button to have the frequency mode
How do you know if it's back in it's original frequency? Would it sound more like a beat instead of a bass? And does the low frequency reduce the beat and make into a smooth bass!?
+FazeTug it will make the bass sound a little smoother and it will seem as if it reduced bass, but that is because in this mode it actually makes the speaker play at its original flat sound, to ensure this mode is no longer enable you can either hold Bluetooth pairing button and volume down at the same time, or you can just simply turn the speaker of and the next time you turn it on it will be back in it's original mode.
Is it the same button combo to turn it off or it is a different way
+RoboxRazor45 yes it is the same way, you can also turn off the speaker and the next time you power it back on it'll be back to normal. I hope this helps :)
does Xtreme gives out good bass at low volume means at night time..
+sarfraz shaikh yes, the jbl xtreme sounds very good at low volumes, the bass sounds awesome on every volume level, even on the first notch.
What is the song a 2:07?
“bass I love you” by “Bassotronics”
The most standard and most shitty song for "Basstests" on youtube which i would not consider bass test but excursion test. The frequencys used in the song are too low in most cases to really test the bass you are hearing.
There are better songs for real bass testing and testing the frequency response of your speakers which helps flattens it out with an EQ.
This is more a "Look how my speaker moves hihihihi" song
Charge 2+ will work?
Yes!
@@JDogVids is not working cuz i have a fake 😭😭😭😭
I'm sorry about to hear about that 😶😶
JDog does this still works? Just asking. If it does, does the red light stay there or does it go away because I don't know if it is in low mode or normal.
Ofc it still works :)
jbl charge 2+ also works but with a loss of treble, i prefer standaard mode on the charge 2+. still cool, didn't know you could do that
Is it possible to brake a jbl flip 4 radiator with bass without low frequency mode on?
Broke passive radiator is almost impossible but you can using 100% low frequency mode for long time. Btw broke Flip 4 with Bass Is the easiest from all jbl
Works with the Charge 2 as well, but one question:
Will the low frequency mode stay active, when I turn the device off and back on again?
No, once you power it off it will go back to the stock mode
I have one question if the BASS is softer its LFM and then its harder and faster its normal mode?
Yes! If its softer then that's the flat sound signature without JBL's equalization
@@JDogVids Thank you!
It works but if you have the volume above 2/3 or listen to it like that for a long time you will blow the speakers because you disable their limiter.
Hi, how can i do that with a jbl pulse 3?
Will this compromise the speaker in any wsy?
+lil pianist No, it is completely safe to use the speaker in the low frequency mode, I wouldn't prefer listening to higher volumes on it because it can distort from too much bass
When i turned it on, the radiators weren't even moving a bit. So that makes me Think that this mode was already 'on' out of the box. I have a refurbished charge 3
If I try the low frequency mode on low volume can it damage my speaker and how I turn off low frequency mode (sorry for bad english)
It can be damaging on very high volumes such as 65% and up but you should be fine on lower volumes, you can simply just power off the speaker and that’ll put the speaker back to stock mode or do the same process you did to turn it on to also turn it off, hope this helped! :)
ive just made a huge rant about my flip 3 speaker!! they keep sending me faulty ones!!! any tips!?
trisha60 I don't know, the same thing has happened to me, almost every jbl speaker I've ever owned has had some issue. I'm sorry, I know this isn't much helpful.
trisha60 if I was you I would go for the jbl flip 4, it's the same price as the flip 3 and it's even better!
its so annoying right! they dont wanna give me a refund, they keep saying they will fix it and theres an issue again! I'm fed up, wish i never brought it!
trisha60 yes it is very annoying, jbl is an amazing company but They're speakers have an issue of the voice coil rubbing against the magnet, and if it's not that then it's a blown speaker.
what's the problem with the ones you're receiving? if they decide to send you another one ask them to test it before to make sure it works well. also next time try buying from a store where you can test it yourself
hey! super video but if i turn it too loud, how i notice that my speaker has a damage? Please reply! Sorry for my bad english, im from germany!
+SnazeDzn if you turn the speaker up to loud with this mode on it will most likely distort, if you use the speaker in this mode I wouldn't go over 60% volume.
Question is how do you turn it off
if I put on low frequency mode does the music get louder
Does work on the JBL Xtreme also if anyone was curious, though personally the only thing I use sometimes is the flat mode (Bluetooth button and the volume down button)
the clip and go series dont work with low frequency
i have a problem i have the flip 3 and i cant understund if i have active low frequency mode or deactive please help
The Cool Brothers when activated one of the led lights will turn red and the rest will turn blue, and if your not sure if the mode if off you can just power your speaker off and the next time you turn it back on it will be back in its regular mode
JDog Vids ok thanks
The Cool Brothers no problem! I hope you enjoyed the video! :D
MAN FOR GS TELL ME!
what exact button is "bluetooth pairing" button? The one which has the form of bluetooth logo or the one which is for pairing speakers?
The one with the Bluetooth logo button, sorry for my late response I apologize :(
Does it improve bass/sound, Should I even use it at all?
+3DTwister YT it improves the treble alot but the bass is reduced alot due to the lower bass notes, the speaker can distort if played too high of volume, don't listen to those other people saying it doesn't distort because it can and will if played too loud
JDog Vids Okay, I didn’t know the difference, Thanks
+3DTwister YT no problem! I'm terribly sorry for my late response, it displayed your comment into the spam comment section and I didn't notice it until I checked the spam.
how can I understand my charge 4 is on low frequency mode or not?
Does it keep your setting when unit is turned off and on?
No, once you turn off your speaker you will have to redo it next time it’s back on if you want to use the setting again
JDog Vids Thanks
No problem my friend! :D
Does the light have to be red
The jbl must be opened?
And this mod can damage the speaker?
Максим, получилось сделать так, чтобы при включении колонка запускалась в обычном режиме, без усиления баса?
Do u turn it odf the same way?
Yes or you can just simply power off your speaker and that’ll turn of the mode as well
Hello I got a question is low frequency mode bad for your speaker?
I deeply apologize for the extremely late response, to answer you’re question it is depending on whether you overdrive you’re speakers and cause them to distort, just be careful to not cause distortion and you’ll be fine!
Did the firmware upgrade change the sound at all for you guys?
skysky sk yeah i loved the way mines sound (lacking highs) (medium lows) (and powerfull loud mids) after thenupdate it has louder highs and lows but that powerfull mids i loved is non existence anymore:( it sounds like a different speaker to the one i purchased. So sad
when you turn the JBL off will the low frequency mode be off to or will t stay when you put it on again
+achmed halig it will turn off
Sir can you help me? I press the wrong botton instead of low volume and Bluetooth botton i have pressed high volume and play/Pause volume after that I couldn't connect to my speaker anymore😞
Oliver Ace Sibugan you just reset your speaker, tell me everything you tried, I accidentally did this as well but I was able to reconnect to it. But I can try to help you.
But how to reset my speaker?
Oliver Ace Sibugan holding volume up and the Bluetooth paring button resets it.
I've tried but nothing happened :'(
Oliver Ace Sibugan try pressing and holding the Bluetooth button
+Nigel Loke thank you for stating that, I try telling people but they only listen to "aswin frn" and he tells them it won't cause damage but it can and will if you don't be careful, I'm glad you're friends noticed.
is it work on the jbl clip2?
What for a Volume on the 5hz ???
for me it sounds totally unbalanced and more quiet. I turned it off
when you turn it past 30% there comes more bass
How do you turn it off?
Can it possible for portronics sound drum
right when I turn on my charge 3, it has a lot of bass, but when I put it on this mode it seems to have more treble at lower volumes. is that normal?
+charlie reed yes it is very normal, also have you watched the video all the way through, in it I said a warning to not play the speaker any higher than about 60% to 70% volume to ensure the speaker does not become damaged due to over excursion or distortion
Is that safe
NO
I screwed/unscrewed a few times. .it fixed my cracking/scratching noise on bass. for now at least. thnks for the video. very simple and easy method.
In my Charge 3, instead of winning more bass, it gets less bass, after holding the buttons :(
do you guys know if blackweb rumbleteks do it... ??
how do you tell when it's off/ on. I'm not sure if i turned it off or not.
+GearsnakeSX to make sure the mode is fully off you can just simply power off your speaker so the next time you turn it on it will be back in it's regular mode
Thanks man. Did it with my charge 3. Now my battery has short lifespan 😅
Tried it on my Flip 3 and the bluetooth pairing button and volume down together it says "six four" ? any ideas? It crackles with some songs and some don't, is this a defect?
Same.. Six four six four (Jbl Flip 3 SE)
@@Ali-ok2ei same
@@niksuyt6346 :)
I do not really understand it. I turned the mode on (on low volume) and the bass has gone. I turned it off and the bass has came back. Then why does it called bass mode and bass boost? If it is turned on, what is the advantage in it?
and how do i know if its turned on or off?
Gáspár Szabó If u have more bass then its turned offn
How did you get the cover off?
You'll have to watch other videos about it but on the bottom you'll see a crease and you need a flathead to open it a little and there's two screws you need to remove total on the bottom, when get them out pull from the front of the grill where the jbl logo is very carefully and then once up you can start pulling from the back side slowly, im sorry I know I might be confusing you but it's hard to explain via comments, there are plenty of videos out there just search "how to remove grill on jbl charge 3" or "how to remove cover on jbl charge 3"
if i do this and go back to normal mode the safely will gonna be back?
Yes
In my original charge 3 bluetooth AND VOL - = outdoor mode only THIS IS NOT LOV FREQUENCY MODE
what is the name of this song?
On my clip 2 it thinks that I want to turn on bluetooth pairing mode
when i reset my jbl charge 3 it has more bass than when i turn it on.
or is it turned on and i just turned it off?
@@JDogVids but when i reset it or turn it off and on again it should be in normal mode again right?
Yes it should definitely be, If you reset or turn it off and turn it back on it’ll be back to normal again.
@@JDogVids and why has the bass mode less bass then normal?
The stock mode or the one I’m displaying in the video?
The regular mode was made for having the speaker at a lower volume cause I tried low frequency mode on it at a lower volume there was no bass vs the regular mode which had a lot of bass
Can you change it back?
Yes, do the same thing you did to turn the mode on or simply power off your speaker and it will reset to original mode and be back to normal next time you power it on, thanks for watching! :D
Oh sweet ok thx
No problem!
Can you turn off low frequency mode to?
+Andy 278 yes, you turn it off the same way you turn it on, you can also just simply power off your speaker and it'll be back in it's regular mode the next time you turn it on

Its working but you must press both buttons on the same time for about 15 seconds. Depends what speaker do you have
