Loving the new Rev update, so much fun learning to abuse his movement
Same wish they kept the Vantage movement though
So, properly utilizing a legend's kit is considered "abusing"? Y'all are children, whom shouldn't share your opinions, since they're NEVER based in facts.
I personally preferred the old revenant ult that the new one. I like the idea of a whole undead squad pushing very aggressively.

I honestly LOVE revenants new tactical and I had his heirloom but I never used him because I didn't really like him, but now I can actually play him, but I still like his old alt better than his newer one
The extra revenant jump and weapon draw is called a “Glide Draw”

Crouching when you release the jump will cause Revenant to always “pounce” forward, removing the possibility of getting a bad jump due to not having the correct camera placement. Always crouch before release.

If respawn is going to nerf controller aim assist, I think that m/k specific movement needs to be nerfed too. Almost every game I'm in is full of people super gliding and tap strafing and its annoying as hell.
Controller can do all of that (not console) using macros and respawn publicly stated this is completely allowed
@@ll-lp6stit's kinda hard (and prob expensive) for them to switch to pc
They are adding tapstrafe macros to console with a Way to nerf aim assist with it
The only thing controller can’t do is tapstrafes superglides are much easier on console
@@zrATT_ Just built a part list for a pc that can comfortably run apex at 60+ fps for 800 bucks, a ps5 retails for 450. If you were to double the time you spend saving for a ps5 you can afford a pc. Now for me, saving 450 i could do in 2 paychecks without compromising the money i already put into long term savings. Not to mention that you can easily get that 800 price point down to maybe 600 by researching some lower end cards and their capabilities and comparing that to apex's requirements. I wanted to stick to cards and components that i was familiar with so 800 is the best I could come up with. Very doable, just save for 2 months
I also find that people don't expect you to jump out of the building when you're hiding behind a door and they're kicking it, the second they break it jump out and you're behind them. Not a trick but a strategy.
I’m abusing that superglide + tac one that seems super broken plus being able to take your gun out right away

I have started playing again with revenant and his tactical feels like free instant jumpad.
As a caustic main, i miss his old ult
Love the new leap but the alt is a little underwhelming 75 extra shields can be taken about in a mere seconds
New Revenant movement looks good haven't played yet going to soon
Played a lil bit personally I don't like the ult but other than that ooo wee baby rev is fuckef with a good player

I'm so glad my main got a good update! He was okay to play before but he's even more fun now. One thing I like to do with his tactical is fully charge it then release it and flick down at the same time so you just do a straight dash forward instead of a jump.

I wish his new ult worked like ballistics where it is for the whole team, not just revenant. I also feel as though it’s hard to keep track of the extra Shadow shields when in the Ult, should just be an overlay on my current health, feels weird to look at the middle of the screen to monitor my shields when it’s instinct to check the bottom left of the screen. Just some thoughts imo

tbh, when I first saw this in game .. i thought that he would jump to an opponent and deal damage
I mean you can change direction with his tactical for all the controller players, its just not a tap strafe

I saw someone tap strafing at the end of a revenant tactical jump instead of at the beginning. I've been trying it out, but i am new to tap strafing so idk if its just not possible or if i am doing it wrong.
Any tips for the console players?
Rev is too much like octane now so I use him instead. It's unfortunate. 😢

One thing I found is if you aim at the ground and use the tactical you will go the most distance and horizontaly as much as you can, if you also slide mid air you will slide a long distance

You killed disconnected player I've killed him 11 times
I tried the shadow pounce and weapon draw in third person, from what I can tell it doesn’t effect the animation until you start firing. So imagine you get shadow pounced, now you can’t tell if your enemy already has their weapon ready or not.
Edit: Doubt it but if anyone wants to see it I have it as an unlisted video.
I miss old apex and good times with our friend when our school shutdown because of the Covid
I did a super glide once by accident while fighting the last squad and it shot me super far inside the ring so i used some heat shield and survived
The new rev sucks. I loved his silenced táctical.
I would like to also say that in exploring the movement shenanigans of revenant reborn I found that sideways climbing is really fun (potentially infinite on controller where you can do funky movement angles) I haven’t been able to test on a wall that’s longer than 100m but he can comfortably make it across every flat wall in the firing range
Do people not realize that like 80 percrnt of players are on console....i always love how they act like everyone had the same abiltity and opportunity to learn and do the majority of these things

I mean it is kinda cool but also apex I think is just at that point where they need a massive update and overhaul to try and really revive and revamp the game we been playing the same maps with the same weapons for so long now I’m not saying get rid of the weapons we have but we definitely need new maps more often and more weapon variety that’s balanced and obviously they can roll out a new character every once in a while but we definitely need more content
Literally disagree with everything. QUIT pumping out new and recolored content for a season and dedicate it to fixing the damn game. Audio, servers, bugs, dcs, getting stuck on random objects, frame drop. The game has been in shambles for 15 seasons now and they keep subduing yall with a recolor here a map there and oh look your favorite weapon takes a different ammo type now ooooh whaddyakno
