How to Make a Ribbon Lei - ↙️⬇️⬇️↘️
🌙 I used 4x pieces of ribbon each cut at 7 yards each (You can use anywhere between 5-7 yards)
BLUE
ORANGE
ORANGE
BLUE
This is how the ribbons are arranged so that the blue is on the outside and the orange is in the middle-
Set 1 is Blue/Orange
Set 2 is Orange/Blue
To start you will loop the Blue Ribbon of set 1 then wrap the orange ribbon around it.
For Set 2 you will start by looping the orange ribbon to make a loop then wrapping the blue ribbon around it.
Then you will place Set 2 on TOP of Set 1.
To begin the first tie. You will take the ORANGE Ribbon from Set 1 cross OVER the ORANGE Ribbon of Set 2 and make a loop that will be inserted into the TOP(BLUE) loop. Then You will pull on the BLUE ribbon of Set 1 to Close.
Next, you will make a Loop with the Blue Ribbon of Set 2 and feed the loop through the Orange Loop of Set 2. Pull the Orange Ribbon if Set 2 to secure the Blue Ribbon. WITH THIS SAME RIBBON YOU WILL BEGIN AGAIN. Make a loop and feed it into the TOP LOOP(BLUE).

Okay so 4 pieces of ribbon. How long should each be? 6 yards? I definitely want to give this a try!
Hiii for this particular lei in the video, I used 7 yards for each piece.
I listed in the description the different lengths and sizes of ribbons that can be used.💛

What if i need add more ribbon for length? How do i connect if I didn't have enough
You can use double-sided tape, fabric tape, hot glue, fabric glue or you can sew it.
