Fight...Fight...Fight. We're down my friends but we are not out. We don't give up, we don't quit and as Will said we never surrender. Keep the faith. Let's Go Detroit!!
I believe Montgomery might have already been injured because remember a few games back did he injure his knee and had to leave the game and then even though he came back and played the game after that he just wasn't running the same ever since. I'm wondering if he was just telling them to shoot him up with the needle turn on his knee or take the inflammation down and it might have worked for the last game or two but then now it's probably to the point where that shit ain't working anymore and he's just not able to fight through the pain anymore and that's probably why they decided to pull him out. But yeah I believe Montgomery might have already been injured because he just hasn't been running the same for like the last two or three games
man thanks for your optimistic view and its not that we lost the game, its the injuries!it showed badly this game and its not going to get much better.even if we win the next 2,our o will have to score 50 to beat the vikings!
I'm with Will on this. No disrespect at all to Steve, but I've been a fan of this team for 48 years. I can't give up on a season I've never seen before. This is the closest to a Superbowl I have ever seen for the Lions so I'm firmly on the bandwagon!!! LFG!!!!!
@DetroitDen313 I should've been more specific, I wasn't intimating that you were giving up on the season, I'm with Will on the wanting to see blowouts and thinking we have the pieces available to still win it all. I watched the game to the end and simply said, on to the next. But I understand exactly where you're coming from. At least 46 years of understanding.
I hate to say this and I’m a diehard Lions fan always have been and always will be but the Lions are done for the season. Not only did they lose McNeill Davis and Dorsey last night but they also lost their best running back David Montgomery with season ending injuries 🤦🏽♀️without a doubt if we had all of our players healthy we would have won the Super Bowl hands down 🤦🏽♀️
I really don’t see anything wrong with going for that onside kick. It didn’t matter if Buffalo started at their own 30 or the Lions 3 yard line. It wasn’t as if the defense was gonna stop them actually it probably save some time because Buffalo would’ve gone on a long drive and ate up about 10 minutes
The problem that the Lions have is the problem we’ve had from the beginning. Outside of Aidan Hutchinson, the Lions front 4 cannot produce a pass rush. We won’t be able to beat the elite teams without it. The teams that win the Lombardi can get after the QB. The Lions had a better shot last year. We got healthy at the right time and this year while having a great year, we’re the opposite of last year. Not good.
I believe all these injuries are starting to happen right now because of how the schedule was in the month of November. The Lions played like three or four games in like 18 days and that's not allowing these players bodies to recover and as soon as they're starting to recover the right back into another full game. So I believe the scheduling of putting the Detroit Lions on all these Monday night footballs and Sunday night footballs and then the Thanksgiving Day game and all that I believe is taking its toll on the players
With 23 on IR if Monty goes down, Det does have Gibbs but for how long? The year Utley was hurt, Andelsak was killed, Jerry Ball went down with knee injury. 20 people were out. That has happened many times in Detroit.
No mas bruh, no mas....at this point, i just want the season to be OVER...i cant take it with all these injuries, ive never seen a season like this, EVER... and ive been watching football a long time. The injuries are UNREAL... MAKE IT STOP.
No one knows how the story of the season will end. It could be misery it could be ecstasy. Whatever happens, it’s my job as a fan of the lions to just roll with it.
Everyone was blaming AG for not adjusting yesterday but people need to remember he has so many new faces on the defense and many of those guys just showed up like 2 weeks ago and they're already playing. So I'm assuming he's handing them a small binder probably 10 pages with defensive plays in it cuz he's not trying to put too much on their plate too early to wear their just confused or they're thinking too much he's trying to probably put in a few simple defensive plays to keep the scheme simple so they can slowly acclimate themselves. Because just imagine showing up to a team one day and then them asking you to play the next game which is a week later, and then the coordinator walking in and throwing you a binder that's like 6 in thick and telling you to memorize it by Sunday LOL I just don't see that happening so I'm assuming AG is probably just trying to dumb down the defense so everyone could be on the same page and he doesn't want these new players overthinking anything and he's trying to keep it simple so they can slowly learn the game plan
Losing McNeil sux. He was a sentimental fave for me. I'll keep fighting but I feel like I'm out of ammo and I just snapped my bayonet on defense. Fortunately, the offense has only lost a tank so far.
Hey guys..Will I love your positivity! And Steve I feel your pain, I’m kind of like how can we sustain winning with all of our starters down? Something I noticed yesterday while watching the game. We were out-schemed for sure. But, another thing I don’t feel like we had the same intensity as the Bills had from the start. They were ready, I mean ready. We looked kind of flat. Especially the first couple of possessions on offense. I don’t know how this is going to play out, but I am willing to bet we will be ready for Chicago. I am sure they are getting an ear full from the coaching staff. Anyways, I think Dan and Co won’t go down without a fight. Knee caps fellas, we are going to bite them getting back up!
If they lose the number one seed, then I'm not very optimistic unfortunately. If Philly makes it to the NFC championship game as with the lions and it's in Philly, cashing out🤷
Any fan blaming the training staff for the injuries that have happened simply isn’t that intelligent. 3 of the injuries were friendly fire. As it relates to AG, he hasn’t had a ton of talent since he’s been here. Once he got a slight upgrade to the back end, you saw how good we could be. Injury is the issue this season. I don’t care how good your scheme is, Belichick not making this defense work. Idiot fans kill me man.
I have never played NFL football but can you ask your team to go "too hard". Are they pushing too hard and that is the reason why every injury is season ending?
Ya but never adjusted ag fell off his job cause is on his way out after the season for hc job more then likely my opinion.. and didn't make adjustments like he normally has been... Brian Johnson isn't going any where
@@beez991 Giving up 40+ points back to back games is bad no matter who you're playing against. Bills fans are riding high for now but reality will hit when they realize their defense even when healthy isn't good enough for the playoffs.

The only positive is we get to see Sione Vaki get some carries.
Well you went and did it. You made feel even better about being 12 n 2 and I was already feeling pretty good about it.

Anything on Micah Parsons leaving Dallas Cowgirls ?
Really hard to win when the only starters left standing on the defensive side of the ball are TA, BB, Kirby and Campbell

No defensive in game adjustments. Aaron glenn played no zone at all. Hes overated
Danny Aplebees didn't have the team ready to play (10 days rest) for the biggest game of the year. COTY?? Nah.
Between injuries and "Dan the Motorcycle Man" making ridiculous decisions...we're toast!!
Couldn't agree anymore. Super Bowl window has officially closed 🤦🤷
@@WhySoAngry777For this year, yes.

Win or not i think i am done with this year. I am so tired of watching 2-3 of our players a game getting carted off with major injuries.

Do you think it is because they are going full throttle. I have never seen so many broken bones, etc
Did the same thing last year and were one of the healthiest teams in the league so no sadly just getting unlucky
It really sucks
we are going to no Superbowl without all our defense and now Monty out...oh well, great run tho for 2024.

Can Jamal Adams play RB too? Lol
Yup
