First time I went to Lourdes was with my school in 1973. I was 15 years old. It has remained my most favourite place in the world. Have been 5 times in total and will return in the future. Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for us🙏
I went to Lourdes in 2011 where I was cured of lumbar problems that caused me 1 to 2 lumbagos per month. I returned in 2013 to thank the Virgin Mary. To this day, I have never had lumbago again! On the way to Lourdes, I stopped both times in Nevers (in the center of France) to pray Bernadette, near her beautiful incorrupt body (since 1879 !). An intense experience.
I lived in Lourdes for a year and a half in a community overlooking the town. It was a wonderful experience and we went to the grotto quite frequently which was awesome. We would sometimes wake up at 1 am and drive down to the grotto to pray, and it was so surreal and special. I will definitely go back one day and enjoy the graces once again.
Thanks for this upload! 🙏I was led here because I was searching for info about Lourdes . I’ll be joining a pilgrimage on Aug 28-September 2 , 2024 .🙏❤️
Hey there - Let us know how you heard of Lourdes, France. I'm curious if it's something you've known about for a long time or if something happened in your life that made you look into it.
Trains from CDG go through Bordeaux and take over six hours for the complete trip. You could try to fly into either Bordeaux or Toulouse and take a train from there which would cut the train time down to about 2 hours. We've used www.trainline.com to check out schedules and book tickets with good success.
Ime hoping to go Lourdes in may I also want to visit nevers was wondering about the best way to attend both on my stay please I know it’s roughly 6 hours away from Lourdes apparently ?
it's most flexible to rent a car and drive. However, you could take TGV high speed train from Lourdes to Paris and then transfer to a regional train to go to Nevers (7 to 9 hours). You could also look for a pilgrimage-type trip or take a bus (10 to 12 hours)
Great video
Informative and short
Thanks guys
Glad you liked it! Thank you for checking it out.

Plan to visit in November, is the church open still at that time?
@@bethfood9613 Yes, the church is open year round.
I have known about it for a long time. How do I get there from CDG Airport? Can’t seem to find a train or flight for October
