Keen and enthusiastic, good sense of rhythm and lovely tonal qualities. I loved the whole thing. I wish you great success for your future performances.
I didn't even actually watch the full video. I saw them harmonizing well at the beginning and skipped to the end to see if their performance was better than others I've seen. No matter how nice your choir sounds as a group, this arrangement cannot be done justice without physical movement and I was delighted by the dancing and clapping particularly from the conductor. Having the lead vocalist belt out the regina at the end really put this video over the top. It sounded so great.
They are all gorgeous, and they sing beautifully. But they would look even more beautiful if the had full habits with veils, and then stayed in the Convent.
The whole performance felt a little muddy today, the main reason may be because they went off tempo in their clapping and the piano tried to go with the choir, instead of the choir moving with the down beat from the piano.
I really wanted to like this but couldn’t. The sudden clapping is terrible! Way too disruptive. It’s way too fast also. The solo in the middle (the girl with her own mic) was also very weak. Btw, the choir director should have been dressed up as Whoopi Goldberg in a habit, not as a priest.
