Liking and commenting now because I'm at work. My dad (R.I.P. I REALLY MISS YOU 💔) had a broken neck. It happened before I was born. He was doing construction and my dad was in a hole. There was a new guy controlling a backhoe. The guy hit my dad, my dad got thrown out of the hole and into a brick wall. His "boss" at the time was in a business meeting and wasn't willing to even call an ambulance 🚑.
Damn,I hate hearing that I'm glad he lived through it. That's what I'm assuming anyway being you said it happened before your birth. I hope your family sued the hell out of his boss. That's definitely low down and negligent as hell, not calling a person rescue personnel when they've been injured. Especially when the person is one of your own employees. Sorry for your loss.
Stenosis in my spine had two surgeries techniquely 3 the second one was two at the same time. I still have pain every day of my life and I would probably be in the same boat as this guy.
It sucks, being injured like that. I have perminent nerve damage, paralized left arm. I can relate to this guy, brachealplexus they called it. Theres almost nothing i would not do to fix it. Good story Jordan.
People don't understand what it's like to have nerve pain that never ceases. I know people will say, "all pain is technically nerve pain," but they know nothing of the 24/7 throbbing, like a toothache but worse. Injections, medications with ugly side effects, nerve blocks, paralytics, ablations, painful surgeries, implants, etc. All of it to just try to be free of the constant throb and electric jolts. Plus, pain makes you cranky, and you're not who you used to be; brain fog steals your memory and intelligence and can leave you struggling to just find words, stammering, stuttering, getting lost in your thoughts, or straight up forgetting what others or you were even saying or talking about. Nobody talks about those parts, so it can leave others upset, feeling unprepared, bitter, and resentful. So we try to handle it all independently as to not burden others, but we push to do what we can't or shouldn't until we hurt ourselves and make things worse. This is not my lone experience, but I've lived a life where the pain has been pretty much increasing by the year since I was a child, and my chronic illnesses are piling up like pokemon cards. Tightly put on the mask of optimism and positivity, because if it slips you become a monster. That's the real horror story. Huh...I'm tempted to write that.
@@Just1Nora Very recognoizable. Your a husk with pain, a shadow of your former self. You loose your freedom and independence. You rely on others to do what you can't do anymore. And with age come more ailments. It doesn't stop. It will only stop when you die. Sometimes I think about that, if it wouldn't be better.
@@Just1Nora you are spot on. Thats how it is. And then somepeople have the nerve to say, its all in your mind.... they know nothing of real pain. Thanx for your comment, atleast i know im not crazy.
Thank you so much. Your videos are a highlight for me. And, as someone who is recovering from a broken neck and back x2, this story reminds me that things could be worse! 😃
This was one of Saturdead’s best stories I wonder if that is why he filled it with so much fan service Easter Eggs. I wondered right away from the end of eternity reference oh is this gonna be a reference palooza? Yup it was! Trying to remember which stories was garland in or mentioned before.
👍👍outstandingly superb, this is one bunch i wouldn't join. This story was thrilling and exciting. I loved and enjoyed this exciting story. Thanks Jordan. 😇💖
I’m glad you did this one because Mr creepy creeps did it but I don’t like AI reading and his stories always cut off, not to mention when there is an “apology” it’s straight out of the AI generated text book.
Dont waste time on Ai garbage. So many good full effort channels out there. I could probably list like 10 if i went and checked but off the top of my head. Mrcreepy pasta. Fantastic content Tales from the gass station is peak "MC is just anoyyed at all the creepy" Lighthouse is also a good channel.
@@FeedMeSalt I’m subscribed to a lot of people who don’t use AI, and I unsubscribed from that other channel not long after I subbed to it because I realized it wasn’t just a couple videos that were not a real person reading. All the grammar mistakes that would’ve been corrected by a real person irritated the hell out of me lol. It’s so laughable that I can’t get into the story no matter how good the story is.
@@FeedMeSalt I’ll admit though, I’m subscribed to so many story channels among all my other subscriptions that by hey get lost sometimes. So when I find the ones that are AI I laugh through a couple stories and unsub. Love Lighthouse Horror 👍
Overall very fun story, I think the only thing that's kind of goofy is the satan analogue throwing a man baby tantrum when the main character actually had 0 way to do what was asked to speedrun the end of the story lmao. Still though, great narration!
hahaha theres used to b a guy that rode around my neighborhood on a mountain bike called Brok Neck Joe hahahaha. he ride at night without any light to see where he was going or so cars can see him. bet he was part of this society 😅
Hey!; Goofy! Why don’t you have a 24 hour live stream? You must have enough content… C’mon…all the cool kids are doin’ it! Bet you won’t 😂 Real talk, big fan. Thanks, Jordan.

Damn, that's harsh. Sorry for your loss 🙁
Im so damn sorry, that’s just horrible.
Good as always❤
That's so sick and sad at the same time. It makes me sad and angry all at once. I'm so sorry for your loss.🥺😢

As someone with MS and in constant pain...this one hit home. Great story telling!

Blue Hill tribe again?!
This was really good. Reminds me of a few other works by the author.
When one thinks that the Society of Broken Necks wouldn't break their neck one way or another.
Kudos to the narrator and author 🎉🎉🎉
For once, I was home for the tale. As always ❤
Dead never misses.

Yeah, drugs tell your brain that this is the right thing to do, too. It never works out well. This reminded me of addiction.

Lluvia is pronounced "shoovia* in general. The real double ll pronunciation is not possible to exemplify here without the phonetic symbol. 😅😅😅😅
