Geert Willem van der Horst I would definitely wear it on the highway. The Mike is not as protective as the Super Speed leather jacket, but it has great protective qualities and a classic style. -Hi-Viz Brian
RevZilla Speaking of the Super Speed Leather Jacket, does this fit the same or is it more of a relaxed fit? I have the Super Speed in a size EU 48 and although it fits really tight which is perfect for the track, I can't fit anything besides a t-shirt under it. If I wanted to layer the Mike Leather Jacket for winter would you suggest going up a size to EU 50 or would the EU 48 be fine with this type of cut? UPDATE: Ended up getting the EU 50. Size is a lot more relaxed and can easily layer under the jacket. With the relaxed fit I would say the 48 would have also been fine with layers.
how does this jacket hold up in winter weather like 30's? i m stuck between getting the brera or this? Because if its not good enough for 30-50 degree farenhite which one would be more comfortable to layer up with?
Neither the Mike nor the Brera has a thermal liner, so if you don't layer up underneath, I'd only wear it down to about 50. For 30-50, wear something really insulating or look at the following options that include removable thermal liners. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dainese-bryan-leather-jacket *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dainese-razon-leather-jacket *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dainese-stripes-d1-leather-jacket *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/revit-gibson-jacket *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/alpinestars-warhorse-jacket
@Revzilla I am planning to buy this jacket. I have quite the same measures as the model. Thejacket seems a little to tight at the chest. Was the model able to lean forwards to grab the handlebar e.g. of a naked bike? Or would you suggest buying a 54?
Yes, in 52, he's able to be comfortable in the riding position. We always take riding position into account when sizing models. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/dainese
I wish I could get this jacket, but I'm concerned about the sleeve length. At 6'2" and 165, I can't find ANY classic leather jackets like this that fit in both the chest and the sleeves at the same time. Are the sleeves maybe a little longer than the size chart suggests?
They're a little bit longer than the size chart, but for longer arms, consider the Alpinestars Brera as well. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dainese-mike-leather-jacket *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/alpinestars-brera-leather-jacket *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/alpinestars-brera-airflow-jacket
@@RevZilla Thanks for replying! I'm surprised I didn't notice before that you listed longer arms on the Brera. Going to be hard deciding between that and the Rev'it Gibson.

Hi I wear a 56 in the Dainese laguna evo and Stripes I could maybe gat a with a 54 in the Laguna evo bit it's too short on the length. I'm 6"3 230lbs 44" chest muscular build. I understand the Mike is a more relaxed cut but would be Taylored, as in have tighter sleeves and waist?
A friend of mine has a size 46 which I tried on. Fit's okay but the sleeves were a bit long with my arms straight down but just the right length (ends right at my wrists) when my arms are forward in riding position. How much shorter are the sleeves and length of the jacket is the size 44?

MissMan666 it’s a great jacket at first I didn’t like the zippers because of how bulky they were but I got used to them I have had it for about three years now and it is still a great jacket. I ripped the sleeve lining but that was mostly my fault. Easy enough fix.
@@corbettblackman6322 thx, i plan on using seperate backshield. I was not aware it was possible to get other protection inserts for the shoulder, will look into it 👍
I just got a 500$ jacket from dainese, they use crap crap crap zippers.. Wth. Hung my jacket up and can't unzip it. Totally unacceptable for a 500 $ piece.

could you provide some summer alternatives for this jacket? Maybe a perforated leather jacket with the same style ?
The Nera 72 perf is probably what you're looking for.
Nice looking jacket! But does the city collection (as with most manufacturers) compromise on abrasion resistance? Would you wear it on the high way?
