I've recently discovered you, and have commented before that I prefer you to the original band these days, and I am enjoying wading through all your videos, but I'm disappointed in this case that you didn't go into the fantastic minor chord section of this song that they used to play, it's just a relatively boring song otherwise. Why haven't you done so? More importantly, I think New Life is actually a better song than this, and have been let down by the fact that they prefer to play this rather than that. Have you ever done a version?
Apart from my inconsequential criticisms, your shows have so much more energy than DM's, and I'd rather watch you than them, and in my opinion, I think it's partly because you haven't gone down the real drummer route. He ruins every single song they perform, and you've avoided that, unlike other pretenders who have tried to emulate the band. Keep it up, guys, and if you ever play in the Algarve, for fuck's sake, please make it well known, I will 100% be there.
Hey Odman69! Thanks for your kind words. "Just Can't Get Enough" isn't a song that really fits in well with our rather serious-melancholic DM repertoire that much. But we celebrated the 30th anniversary of "101" or the Rosebowl concert back then in 2018 and wanted to play the original tracklist for it. So we were forced to play this song in this version. :) But, to be honest, it's great fun to perform the number together with the audience. And yes, the minor ending of the Shizzo mix is awesome. Maybe we'll do that at some point. There must still be room for improvement. We are very happy if we can meet at one of our shows one day. Until then, stay safe & sound. :)
