Hey guys. Firstly we want to say you have a great channel - love your work! We were told you mentioned us in this video so thought we’d reach out. We don’t feel comfortable fully disclosing what our deal was with the Titanium, but are happy to give an overview. Deals vary majorly - we’ve been told first hand what some others get and ours was different to all. I guess we were one of the first ‘brand ambassadors’ in this industry and it was something we worked out with the brands and companies together. Being an ambassador seemed to mean something different back then than it does today. It held value. We knew the vision of the company, worked very closely with marketing & development to make a product better & share it, whereas we feel the word is thrown around very loosely these days with people thinking all ambassadors do is promote something. The monetisation grows according to what you can deliver, so even when we had a smaller following and still had a huge influence on sales (word of mouth and talking to people on the road plays a massive part), we were compensated accordingly. We also create content (videos, images, blogs etc) for other platforms that we didn’t share on ours. You can either be paid extra for that or it can be built into wages or your deal. We paid for all of our vans, we just received a bigger discount on each van as we contributed to more & more sales with our last van being almost free. Having said that a lot of the accessories and appliances on the van such as awnings, windows, fridge, aircon, wheels, tyres, suspension, diesel hot water, battery system etc were supplied by other partners, not paid for by Titanium. We worked hard in partnership with the company behind the scenes to develop the caravans and a lot of the accessories/mods, with our second van being named the Destination X. We were also on wages. We were paid to attend shows & given commissions on vans. We also worked very closely with their dealers especially Caravans Coffs Coast. Our deal with CCC was completely separate from what we had with Titanium. But we want to be clear that money is NOT the main thing for us. We don’t ever work with or promote a brand or product we don’t believe in. It’s the product, people behind the brand & integrity that we believe in. Our values no longer align with Titanium which is why we left. Our deal with Sunland is completely different as we are working with them to develop an entire new range of caravans as well as being brand ambassadors. Hope we’ve answered a few questions for you and your viewers. PS. Thanks for calling us TH-camrs but we have stepped away from this platform for a few reasons - the main one being it’s extremely time consuming as I’m sure you’re aware 😁 We will be sharing videos every now and then but it will be more of a different style and not as regular. We are stepping into a more professional field of filming these days working with large scale production companies as well as working more closely with the brands we are partnered with. Thanks again guys! PPS. Yes, we will be doing several videos on the Sunland vans we are developing. It’s going to be a epic van and will be released at the Melbourne Caravan Show in February 😁😁 PPPS. Yes, this is the last add on! We’ve dedicated 2025 to attending as many caravan and 4x4 shows as possible to meet with our followers and work with Sunland, GMSV & our other partners. We are focusing on the education side of things this year😁
Thats a good topic, Booking restrictions. So many National Parks are booked out but when you go there for a day trip you find half the sites empty because people are booking more days than they are needed because they are not sure when they can get there. Perhaps a satellite connected booth to confirm or book on site is needed.
Mate that is such a great topic!!! I 100% agree there are so many national park camp sites vacant when I stay even though online it's booked out. Hey guys Great video have only just found you. Regarding National Parks we need to consider a few things. They are one of the least funded departments in Australia so they are always struggling to keep up even with basic maintenance. When you said more people at less is better doesn’t really work when you consider the additional strain put on services like toilets, roads and tracks. This also does not allow for the increase in vandalism. I personally happily pay the fees but this is because I have first hand knowledge of the challenges they face. Looking forward to your next episode.
Hey mate, really well written comment. Thank you for the insight. I agree they definitely aren't well funded, but there are options for help that they aren't willing to take. 4wd clubs have offered to help look after tracks and keep the parks clean, but get rejected. Aboriginal communities have also offered to partner with national parks but have been rejected. There is plenty of help out there, but the government unfortunately is very controlling with national parks. which I understand there are a lot of plans and animals that need protection. Would you mind if we use this comment next week? It's really well said.
@@Off.Track4x4 100% fine to use our comment. I also agree with your comments some very valid points. I know our local club has offered numerous times to help out with trails. @@Off.Track4x4 dept budgets are set, and revenue generated is funnelled into state consolidated revenue. The two are mutually exclusive, ie camp fees do not 'top up' the budget. Parks isnt underfund, it gets what its deemed to need to operate ... fees are just general state renenue
Thanks mate, you got a few shout outs last week in the comments, so we included your channel in the last segment for people to find you 😉 Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
With regards to full time camp hosts. They are so necessary these days to keep camps in order. Shit can happen and these days violence can break out in an instance with these camps being full a lot of the time. They can instantly deal with issues that arise and have communication with authorities if a fire starts or someone is injured or police need to deal with conflict.
Mark that is a really good point we didn't think of, I have to admit both camp sites were alot more quite then ones I've been to lately with out rangers there. That's for the comment mate 👍
@@Off.Track4x4 yeh all good. I should have added the dreaded glass bbq is a big problem in WA. Some crazy shit happens occasionally with somone on the ice pipe.
Thank you for sharing! Definitely the worst kept secret 🙊 So sounds like they getting a demo to drive around. Don't like that they haven't put any money in so will have to say good stuff only.
Guy's another YT channel is donating to Little Wings Charity but there is a good cause in this have a look into them. Just my opinion the RFDS is heavily supported where little wings is not !!
Awesome content Guys🍺🍺🍺, interesting topics giving the back side of other Tubers 🤔🤔🤔 Love the bucket hat and the RFDS is an awesome cause for donations, Sam the Travelling Jackeroo doesn't have a channel and he should, but has a F/B presence has been taking donations for years to help fund 👍👍👍 Keep the awesomeness coming 👍👍👍 Cheers Andy, - use these comments if fitting to your content -
100% agree on transparency. I don’t care if a product is given for free or at a discount, just be upfront and you have my respect. I’d still be interested in what is said. As for donating profits - great to see more people jumping on board. I think Brent and Molly from Lifestyle Hustlers may have been one of the first to start it. They spoke quite openly about the behind the scenes bullying they copped for it which is a shame as they opened the conversation on the topic. Great channel guys!
Brody is a top bloke but living in Exmouth the changes due to the double wammy of ybs and then the whole covid thing with WA staying open are stark. House prices have doubled. Crazy amounts of illegal camping 200 plus bongo vans a night in Exmouth for the whole season. Town used to be full for 3 months Now 6 months. You have to book a year in advance to get in a van park during june july august. National park and south ningaloo/Warroora always full. DBCA enivironment department is flat dealing with the aftermath of ybs and influencers/youtubers . Take our turtles for example. One beach from a few hundred visitors a year and kept pretty secret to now to probably ten thousand or more.
Yeah mate, we are hearing crazy things about WA. I'd say East Coast is starting to return back to normal now, still have to book camp sites but instead of 3 months in advance, you can get in now a week out. Hopefully same thing starts to happen over there for you guys. Camping went crazy post covid. Would you mind if we use your comment next week?
One thing that is overlooked here is that, as I understand it, most of these channels end up as businesses. Therefore, all the vehicle mods etc can be written off or get tax concessions for as well as discounts for promotion on the channel. One tax concession being the luxury car tax. Happy for someone better informed to add to this. Love the bucket hat BTW.
Thanks for the comment Kath, you are 100% correct any modes put on the car that are done for making content are tax deductions. But the youtuber needs to make at least 21K per year from youtube to claim them.
I have gone off a number of channels you mentioned because they are not honest eg Best ever tow car till the next one. Best ever caravan till the next one 9 months later and have only just picked it up. Products that they have just received and are unwrapping but never used the best on the market. The lack of general honesty on why they do things or go to areas is off putting. Jake and lil go out of their way to smash things for view's. NXT Stop- Falzon family Is a channel of interest they run 2 channels using alot of the same footage released out of sync. Their caravan life is a disaster power usage and ideas are out there somewhere. They do live shows hours long and get nowhere. But have usual following of " your shows are so real" But like most influencers have no idea.
There is even a few products review channels that I've seen that review one product say its the best on the market, 3 months later get sent the competitors and say the exact same thing. I feel alot of people forget why they stated youtube. It's good there is still a few channels out there doing the right thing.
When it come to giveaway or sponsorship. Why not do the greater % as sponsorship and still do a smaller % as giveaways to help grow the channel. RFDS would be a standout for me as it is the only charity I have donated cash to since 1974, when they airlifted me from a remote location NT to Darwin at no cost to me and most likely saving my life.
We were think of just picking out random comments or subscribers each week and doing a small give away. No hoops people have to just through, just give back to the people that support off track. That's so good it was completely free! Amazing service they provide.
Hahahah 🤣 Your talking to one of them, Queensland National parks sent me a cease and desist for filming in National parks, said they were going to take me to court if I continued. I went public and blasted them and they went away 🤣😂 I understand them stopping people for doing the wrong thing but they shouldn't have the legal right shut everyone down.
Very hard to trust anyone who is sponsored by the product to get a believable review. You see it with some shows like Pat Callinan / Mr 4x4, it’s like watching ads for an hour. IFISH, one week he’s saying this is the best outboard to buy and next week he’s switched brands and saying the same thing with that brand.
I find it amusing when companies do that! Swap brands for the exact same product. 4wd 24/7 are the worst for it I reckon. Would you rather see youtubers do a 15-20 second invideo commercial rather then push products and say they are the best through out the video?
@@Off.Track4x4 24/7 will say anything to make a dollar ... different canopy or 12v company on each week as an example. Different presenters pushing different brands on each of their cars, one has fulcrum, another tough dog, another efs, but each presenter says their said brand is the best. Also pretty easy to see as soon as the said company stops paying the bills that they get kicked straight to the curb, Wholesale autos and Reuben from DMW as two examples.
Hey mate, thanks for watching and commenting really appreciate it. He really has changed alot from where he started so don't blame ya. Any channels you would recommend?
I did think it was disappointing that in the now and never / wild touring episode on Fraser they lit a fire at waddy camp ground in there own fire pit when the rules clearly say communal fire pit only it's not a great look when a influencer/utuber breaking rules on camera. maybe a chat on rules and expectations on influencer/utubers about doing the right thing and not breaking laws to getting content
Hello David, I can not agree more on this topic and its one we have discussed for the "hot topic" I reached out to a TH-camr that I was chatting to regularly as they did break a rule and just wanted to warn them they could get fined, and that it didn't send a good message. I got a pretty defensive message back and now get ignored. I think it's a very touchy subject as alot of TH-camrs don't see them self as influencers, but we are and that comes with a big responsibility to all ways do the right thing. Would you mind if we use your comment next week?
@@Off.Track4x4 yeah your welcome to use It when your got 130k subs and 30k sub people could easy watch that episode and think it's OK. The ridiculous thing was there a communal fire pit literally 15m away from there camp 🤦♂️
Journey unknown is another channel who I belive are not truly honest in what they say on the channel and don't disclose any sponships they may or may not have
I thought I remember them saying they are a caravan dealer? I could be wrong but I thought they said that in a video. That would mean everything would be whole sale prices. Big difference if it is to average Jo paying retail
Wow! 😮 Thanks Mick, speak to Troy when you next drop into the factory to see him / us / our van. Stay tuned for our walk through where all will be revealed.
Sponsorship is obviously very good for content creators but very much ruins the info the viewers are feed. For example you never see a sponsors product break or fail on the big money channels like 4WD 24-7, then you get some of the less monetised channels that openly say they will call a spade a spade and will be totally honest with their viewers, who miraculously never have an issue with any of their sponsors products.
Mate this is very well said, I think if a channel has zero negative feedback reviews than that shows they can't be trusted, I'm currently in talking to a company in relation to a product I was sent that is not performing as it should. I'm carrying out test for them if it turns out it's not broken and just a bad product I will call it out as one. The companies should test products before putting them to market, unfortunately so many don't.
4xoverland is loosing me, keep trying to push his courses and seems to be constantly changing content and sharing all his old videos. Is ASPW loosing the plot?
I was really looking forward to seeing the van build, something a bit different, but your right he seems to be all over the shop. It would be hard when you get to that side channel though, you would have alot of sponsors to keep happy.
Hey Scott, I agree 100% but I can see why they cave and do it, youtube pays content creators nothing, to do this full-time you need money coming from somewhere. I wish I could do this full-time but I'm just not willing to sell out.
With a lot of these influencer TH-camrs, they spout the same old shite "This is the best caravan in Oz!"... until they get a new sponsorship and say the same thing about another caravan. TH-camrs are becoming more and more like salesmen rather than entertainers. I have turned off a lot of them, because I just want to watch real people doing real stuff. Brodie at YBS does the same thing every video, very clickbait, and just seems to have a new boat every year. TIAV used to be good in their old mazda, before being gifted a newer one then going the chopped 200 route, the 300 series and selling that to a lottery mob. ADU are top salesmen, the build series must be great for their numbers becuase they do a new rig every year, get a new caravan which is always "the best in Oz!", Explore Life is way over the top, and SKT is too clickbait-y. They lose all credibility if they are just salesmen imo, and when their channel turns more into a showcase of those items, i turn off. Good ones for me is Wild Touring, Tyler Thompson (despite having some sponsorships he keeps it more real), and NXT Stop - Falzon family, they seem genuine enough. Also, with Cam and Now or Never, with the clickbait title, it was a little misleading. But the Ranger did pop a tyre off the bead on the rocks when the tide was coming in (so they say), but if you watch the video, they had time to set up the tripod, get the drone up and spotted... so really, how desperate were they to save the car from the tide?
Hahahah 🤣 🤣 I love the part about them having time to set up cameras! It's all ways the tell tail signs that it wasn't a stressful moment. Very well said about some of the channels selling out, I can tell you from my experience, you can make a good living if you accept the affiliate marketing it's normally 5-12% commission. I'd be sitting very comfortable right now and not having to return to work with a head injury if I'd accept it, but I just can't it feels so wrong when I started this channel it was to help and give advise. But each to their own some see it just as a business. As you mentioned there is some good channels out there just need to find them 😀
Not a camping or 4x4 channel, but Beau Miles would be my hands down pick on TH-cam. I thought from reading comments on different YBS videos and Brodie talking in them that he was having a rough time with his mental health and not enjoying getting out there filming at the moment this year, as a result the frequency of his videos being reduced heaps. Who knows, maybe he's taking more risks because of this too?
Mate that is a very bloody good point you make! Risk taking and mental health go hand in hand. It's funny he has more money then he would know what to do with at the moment, yet is still struggling from mental health. Shows money doesn't fix all things.
Good to see Andy (Total Carnage) get a mention, been watching him for months and enjoy his laid back style. Me and the missus both enjoy the elnicks( we are in our early 60’s and currently travelling aus) for their down to earth nature and letting the kids go wild.

Awesome stuff guys thank you Tony OWGOODZAT..👏👏👍
Thanks mate, you got a few shout outs last week in the comments, so we included your channel in the last segment for people to find you 😉
Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
With regards to full time camp hosts. They are so necessary these days to keep camps in order. Shit can happen and these days violence can break out in an instance with these camps being full a lot of the time. They can instantly deal with issues that arise and have communication with authorities if a fire starts or someone is injured or police need to deal with conflict.
Mark that is a really good point we didn't think of, I have to admit both camp sites were alot more quite then ones I've been to lately with out rangers there.
That's for the comment mate 👍
Hey mate, I forgot to ask is it okay if we use this comment in next week's episode?
@@Off.Track4x4 yeh all good.
@@Off.Track4x4 yeh all good. I should have added the dreaded glass bbq is a big problem in WA. Some crazy shit happens occasionally with somone on the ice pipe.

Thank you for sharing! Definitely the worst kept secret 🙊
So sounds like they getting a demo to drive around. Don't like that they haven't put any money in so will have to say good stuff only.

Good chat guys.
Thanks mate, really appreciate you backing us 👍
Guy's another YT channel is donating to Little Wings Charity but there is a good cause in this have a look into them. Just my opinion the RFDS is heavily supported where little wings is not !!
Hey mate, we can definitely support them, we can put them down as next week's charity.
Do you mind if we use your comment next week?
@@Off.Track4x4 sure would be my pleasure !
Awesome content Guys🍺🍺🍺, interesting topics giving the back side of other Tubers 🤔🤔🤔
Love the bucket hat and the RFDS is an awesome cause for donations, Sam the Travelling Jackeroo doesn't have a channel and he should, but has a F/B presence has been taking donations for years to help fund 👍👍👍
Keep the awesomeness coming 👍👍👍
Cheers Andy, - use these comments if fitting to your content -
Hey mate,
Thanks for the ripper comment 👍
I've added it to the run sheet for next week. Thanks for the support 🙏
Transparency is most important on these channels.
Mick could not agree more! If you do youtube you should be open and honest with the community you build.

I have gone off a number of channels you mentioned because they are not honest eg
Best ever tow car till the next one.
Best ever caravan till the next one 9 months later and have only just picked it up.
Products that they have just received and are unwrapping but never used the best on the market.
The lack of general honesty on why they do things or go to areas is off putting.
Jake and lil go out of their way to smash things for view's.
NXT Stop- Falzon family
Is a channel of interest they run 2 channels using alot of the same footage released out of sync. Their caravan life is a disaster power usage and ideas are out there somewhere.
They do live shows hours long and get nowhere.
But have usual following of " your shows are so real"
But like most influencers have no idea.
There is even a few products review channels that I've seen that review one product say its the best on the market, 3 months later get sent the competitors and say the exact same thing. I feel alot of people forget why they stated youtube.
It's good there is still a few channels out there doing the right thing.
Killing it boys
Thanks mate really appreciate the kind words! Your a legend for commenting 👏

It seems like some local and state authorities have put restrictions on influencers filming. How does this effect information
Hahahah 🤣
Your talking to one of them, Queensland National parks sent me a cease and desist for filming in National parks, said they were going to take me to court if I continued. I went public and blasted them and they went away 🤣😂
I understand them stopping people for doing the wrong thing but they shouldn't have the legal right shut everyone down.
Use to watch ybs at 100k subs then he became too click bait and over the top (catch and cook etc etc). . . . . So gave it the flick
Hey mate, thanks for watching and commenting really appreciate it.
He really has changed alot from where he started so don't blame ya.
Any channels you would recommend?
Impossible to hold credibility when your getting paid or a sponsorship deal .
Conflict of interests !
Mate very well said, I agree 100%
Thanks for the comment champion
Pitty there's no Transparency on the T I V Channel
Mate, how good would it be to know what getting to that level means money and sponsorship wise.
Also can we use this comment next week?
@@Off.Track4x4 Sure
4xoverland is loosing me, keep trying to push his courses and seems to be constantly changing content and sharing all his old videos. Is ASPW loosing the plot?
I was really looking forward to seeing the van build, something a bit different, but your right he seems to be all over the shop. It would be hard when you get to that side channel though, you would have alot of sponsors to keep happy.
Aspw thinks he pisses eau de cologne. He is so up himself.
All of the one flogging crap have zero credibility, all about a dollar
