It's going to come to all of us who own dogs, I know, but I honestly can't imagine going wild camping without my border collie...never been on my own and don't want to. I feel for you and I know your pain, literally brought tears to my eyes watching this, she's such a gorgeous girl. Be strong and enjoy your time e together, however long it might be. Thanks Phil it's hard thinking of camps without her, plus trying to find a regular dog sitter and fitting things in around xena is making it hard to plan any camps at the moment or even a decent hike. I'm just grateful she is still here though and will make the most of the time we have left together, thank you for your support 😊

Bless her, she is such a lovely companion. I am very glad she is feeling better and looks transformed now. When we lost our dog a few years ago it was a very difficult time so I know the emotions you must have been going through.

Glad she's on the mend, it's so sad when our pets aren't well. Anyone who has owned a dog or any other pet knows exactly how much a part of the family they are. Your camps will be missed but Zena is far more important. I lost my pet dog of nearly 14 years early in the first lockdown, very suddenly and he suffered a lot because I couldn't call a vet, that still haunts me, even though I have another dog now I still have moments when i can't stop thinking about that night so you enjoy every second that you and Zena have together, give her extra hugs and make every moment count.

@@Wild.cat.adventures funny enough Bru only a puppy 🐶 goes for my feet typical collie some strength on him lifts my feet up right in the air . One of these days I will fall on my ass lol. Xena is in good hands no doubt the vets will do their best to do what they can to ease her . I lost my nine year old border collie last July and got Bru two weeks later at 8 weeks. Life was too quiet without a dog . Yeah enjoy it precious moments with your dog xx

So sorry to see this with xena ,nearly lost my pippa last year , but she's reacted well to medication. Only just happened across your channel recently, your nice to watch with a love for the outdoors, so hopefully you can carry on with the channel. Do you have a car you can use for car camping/micro camper camping with xena , get you out and about with each other , without to much walking.
That's not a bad shout that! My car isn't ideal for car camping but it's doable for a couple of nights. Got a few coastal car camp spots pinned already, you've just given me the excuse to try them! 😁
Bless her. It's aweful when put dogs or pets are not well. My little girl has ruptured her Crutiate Ligament and had surgery on Monday. I've slept by her side (she's crated) ever since. She's got a long recovery ahead and her leg is plated. Need to keep her still. I hope your gorgeous dog is as comfortable as possible and here's to a recovery
