Thanks Harry for mentioning and supporting the Welsh farmers. The Welsh governments plans are just plain mad and another example of net-zero at all costs madness.
Not going to reduce carbon emissions if you just buy the same stuff from another country and move the carbon emissions there and possibly worse emissions because of their production methods.
If it wasn't so maddeningly frustrating, you've almost got to laugh at the futile localised net-zero measures, whilst globally coal output continues at record levels & increasing 2-3% annually from China, India & Asian countries...🙄
Up to a point @_Ben4810, but we can of course only legislate locally, not in the other countries that you've mentioned. It's not so much the goal of net zero that's wrong as the way our various governments are trying to achieve it. In Wales the headline figures of 10% tree cover etc are attracting attention, but it's probably a fair bit more nuanced in reality. In the West we now rely heavily on China (for example) to manufacture goods on our behalf, so we can't complain when they use energy to do so, nor shirk our own responsibility to de-carbonise our domestic energy consumption, given that the burden has been lightened by offshoring so much production of goods.

I enjoyed this! My head is all full of wheat these days, I’m planning to get a home stone mill (Mockmill) for my bread making. At this point I’m planning to source organic wheat berries because I’m concerned about Glyphosate sprayed on the wheat as a desiccant, close to harvest time. I hear it’s a common practice here in Canada because of the short growing season and in the UK because of rainy weather. What say you? Sometimes I worry that governments are so focused on saving us from climate change, they forget people need to eat and farms feed cities! It’s about as stupid as dropping a nuclear bomb on a city, to take care of the rat problem.

You had a nice crop of wheat in that first field. There are some good healthy looking crops around me in Ludgershall and I spotted a field of osr with its flower stems well above the plants. Not bad for the 1st week of March. (That was near Amesbury). There is a great deal of flooding on the lower lying river valleys, but they are mainly permanent pasture.

Good morning Harry , I've been a fan of your farming and car videos for some time. I find it all fascinating. I have a question if you don't mind. You mention that you are a pure arable farming and a mono culture farm. I'm curious why that is? Is growing a diverse range of crops not preferable? Or is it better to prioritise reliability of crop over diversity of crops. Much love and keep up the wonderful content. P.s any chance of an update on your classic range rover and the new range rover sport.
The problem with going fully Green is how many people will have to find another way of living or just falling out from the workforce.
Thank you Harry
Is there much difference between the john Deere drill and claydon at the minute?
So wheat 24 uses up all the reserves, and the UK is going into 25 without any wheat reserves?
Not sure the Welsh gov closed down steel making.
Brexit did,the company diverted orders to plant in EU.
Love when a video pops up from Harry
Harry should do a series for Amazon prime or netflix on the challenges, economics and social of farming in europe, or at least, UK. We all need it.
All go go go !
Harry, have you ever considered a live stream Q&A session? I'm sure many of your subs would appreciate the opportunity to elicit more of the truth you speak. Thanks for keeping us informed far better than the mainstream media.
Am I right in saying that those trees at 2:15 have been pollarded? If so, when was he last time they were pollarded? If not, what sepcies are they?
I'm surprised anbody is still following through on the climate stuff. Surely someone in power has realised all those international treaties and agreements with Russia and Chine were a complete joke to them from the start? "Yes, handicap your industries and cripple your agriculture, we will do same, we pinky promise!"
I see you have a tree by the brook. Was there a songbird in it singing?
My goodness. It is truly scary these people lead our countries with such abandonment of common sense
Marvellous video, as ever...thanks Harry, a mine of information ❗️
Pseudomonas ... can anyone explain?
I once had a small Health Pool fail the monthly test because of Pseudomonas ... found in the pump room pipework and plumbing, apparently.
Interesting thanks.
Politicians should stay away from food production. Their degrees are in law mostly. Harry, we had that much rain in one night here in Queensland Australia! That wheat looks bloody great.
Why no mention of the English farmer protests?
Please tell us what happens to the wheat that you grow. What is the end product.
Great video , this nitrogen fixing dressing sounds as though it could be a game changer
When will the majority of farmers in Scotland ever get any detail on the proposals for Scottish farming? Certainly not until after the general election.
Would snowfall instead of rain have been better or worse for the farm?
It's March and it hasn't stopped raining where I am 'Arry!
The problem with going fully Green is how many people will have to find another way of living or just falling out from the workforce. Governments are now more or less forced to implement the Green policy to do regulations that have been passed earlier. However much needs to be desired on these regulations cause they seem to be done by people who have no idea how life outside the office works.
Where’s Stanley…..?
If there is a better TH-cam channel, I do not know it.
Wells Head beautiful.
Cheers my good man.

Great wheat Harry . You deserve a break after last year's osr.
Goodbye Britain hello Zimbabwe
