I was born and raised in Taiwan until I was 13 years old before moving to the US. After getting my college degree in Communication, I went on to study abroad in Japan and enrolled in an Intensive Japanese Language Program in Tokyo. 💡 I’m fluent in Mandarin Chinese, English, Taiwanese, intermediate in Japanese, and elementary in Korean.
As someone who learned English as a second language and picked up two other new languages, I completely understand the struggle between the differences of studying a language from the textbook and learning it naturally from daily conversations.
So, in my videos, I’ll be sharing tips and teaching you on how to talk more like a native Taiwan 🇹🇼 Mandarin speaker in the Taiwanese way and we’ll chat about trends and culture in Taiwan. We’ll even learn words in Mandarin and Taiwanese that you won’t find anywhere else but only in Urban Dictionary!
