The one with 766 or 866 is the year the sculpture was made. The years were 1766 or 1866 in which the Indians left out the first number 1 most of the time.

I saw the same face. We find the same thing in Vermont carved in white quartz.

you do know natives had to be foced to learn english and numbers-how/why would they use them before whites even came-
