to be honest, ni-ki really went through a lot at such a young age. When they performed into the iland, he gets eliminated.... and the i-landers vs grounders, he lose too and blames himself for that. I wish i was there and tell him how great and good he performed every performances... so when he debuted i almost get our house flooded with tears... i always and will always love you ni-ki-ssi... saranghae :))

▶NIKI LEADED the GROUNDERS for two performances (FIRE, I&credible) because they were lost, they needed someone to GUIDE them, to stand up for them, as RAIN said it to them. And yes...NIKI DECIDED to do it even if he was scared. Also because everyone in Ground expected that from him.
He taught them the dance moves, the expressions, showed them the positions with dedication and patience, he even complimented them every time....and the performance result was 👌💯👏
He did amazingly well despite his young age.
▶ ➡[about ep8] the producers said pt2 is an INDIVIDUAL competition from now on, so EVERYONE is trying to do what they can to look cool...to stand out...to AMAZE the JUDGES..........And that's just exactly what NIKI tried to do ⚠He did NOT mean to be egoistic with his team AT ALL⚠ He's a just a boy who is trying to show what he is capable of, through this HARSH COMPETITION.
PLEASE 🚫STOP already that "s€lfish" B*LLSHIT
If he seemed to have a "too serious" image when he was in GROUND, it was because he was STRESSED and worried about the situation. Worried and PRESSURED because everyone excepted him to be the leader.
Also ❔Did you all forget about this is SURVIVAL PROGRAM❓
When I think about NIKI, I put myself on his shoes. I would be like him too. Nervous, stressed, confused, SCARED and of course eager, trying to do the best that I could to go to iland because I would want to achieve my dream.
It's a SURVIVAL program not a holiday camping.
You can be friends with some people, but at the end of the day...You kind of become ""enemies.""
ALL survival shows are like that.
(well, not only TV shows. Korean + Japanese society is like that too. It is sadly competitive.)
(PS: did you see how happy niki was when TAKI was saved and went to iland again? that moment was adorable😢 re watch that moment.)
Also, if you STILL dislike him, you have not watch ILAND CAMs or NIKI cute compilations at all, because you have not seen #NIKI's playful, funny, joyful and adorable personality 😢❤❤

What I don't understand is why they didn't respect Ni-ki's wishes to not be leader this time and have someone else do it. They're acting as like if Ni-ki doesn't do it, then no one can do it. There wasn't even Jay to help Ni-ki out. Most of the grounders here are both older and have been trainees longer than Ni-ki. Jaeho, for instance, said that he learnt and has confidence in most styles of dance and majored in choreography. Or Hanbin could also help since he was the leader of a cover dance group and is good at copying dances by looking at videos.
