Hello! Based from my understanding of our contract, yun talaga condition kasi the goal of the dost scholarship is to boost the fields of science and technology in our country. If hindi mo tinuloy yung career path na yun, you'll have to pay back everything dost-sei has provided you + interest, so mas mahal pa. Hope it answers your question :).
Hi po I already received my application receipt from UST and if I'm going to be qualified kailangan po bang mag pa reserve agad ng slot? What month po ba usually nagoopen for scholarship application?5k po yung reservation fee and it's announced na the results of USTAR will be given this coming April. I'm just going to rely on the scholarship lang po kasi d naman po namin gaanong afford yung ganong tuition fee per sem. If I did reserve a slot po kasi tapos d po ako nakuhang scholar sa santo tomas scholarship baka masayang lang po yung 5k since it's not refundable.

Hello po, kakaqualify ko lang ho ngayun sa UST under ChE for AY. 2022-2023. But i am unsure if i will take it mainly because of financial reasons. If i were to take the Sto. Tomas scholarship ho bu i have two questions: 1. I am the top 1 when i was on grade 11 batch-wide, and i wonder if the Sto. Tomas scholarship is applicable on my standing on Gr. 11 or in Gr. 12? (We are expected to graduate on July, and i am not sp sure if i still am the top 1 now in gr 12😅) 2. Hello! I actually came from a relatively small private school here in my province. The scholarship exam during my time was similar lang din to the ustet, pero nagbago na kasi yung ustet for the newer batches so I'm not sure of the difficulty of the exam na. It's okay to be scared of not passing but if you put in the work naman and you truly did your best to prepare, there's still a possibility that you'll pass! 😄 Goodluck!!! Fighting!

Hi! For external scholarships, everything really depends sa pagkukuhanan mo ng scholarship kasi hindi hawak ng ust hehehe. There are full scholarships from private companies/benefits, pero kapag from government, mostly fixed allowances nakikita ko, like sa DOST maximum 40k ang bigay nila sa tuition per year 😊
Hello poo, ask ko lang po nag cancel registration po kasi ako pero nakapagbayad napo ako sa una tapos nag register po ako ng bago then inilagay kopo ung reference number sa payment slip pero till now po wala parin po yung "paid application fee" nung dec 15 po unang submit then cancel tapos dec 27 new submit po tapos wala parin po hanggang ngayon

Or can you apply for a scholarship before the classes start so that you don't have to pay anything for the first semester?
Hi! You'll apply for the scholarship before classes start, pero for incoming freshmen nauuna kasi yung enrolment before the scholarship application. So kahit magbayad nalang muna ng downpayment then if full scholarship makukuha mo you'll just need to request for a refund later on 😊 (This pertains to the academic "santo tomas" scholarship btw, kapag galing sa external sources depende na sa kanila yun hehehe)

Hi! The scholarship exam and application is after the release of your ustet results (it was in my case). So you'll apply when you graduate pa kasi one of the requirements rin naman is to ask your current school for a certificate that proves that you graduated as top 1/2. Goodluck!!!
To be completely honest, I wasn't able to review specifically for the DOST Exam, the knowledge I had at the time was from my preparation for CETs, so I guess I can say it's similar to any college entrance exam, but it's more focused on analogies if I remember correctly. I made other videos regarding the DOST Scholarship and maybe I've mentioned more details about it there 😅

Hello! As of now hindi pa recognized ang leapmed ng dost scholarship, maybe in the future it will be :). As of now the scholarship I'm aware of is the Santo Tomas scholarship, which requires you to be a Valedictorian/Salutatorian of your shs batch to apply.

Hello! If I remember correctly, waived siya if kasama ka sa top students coming from a private school. You only need to show proof of your last completed year, i.e. if G12 ka ngayon you need to show you grades from G11.

Hello! Like I've mentioned in my videos, the scholarship exam during my time is like USTET 2.0 similar concepts and things to study pero siguro mas specific lang yung ibang questions and wider nang onti yung scope. But the coverage is still based on what was taught naman during hs-shs 😊

It depends sa scholarship scheme mooooo. If yung Santo Tomas (Academic) Scholarship, 100% walang babayaran na fees if valedictorian and 50% naman kapag salutatorian ka ng batch mo. If sa dost naman, may bawas din na specific amount sa tuition mo, you can learn more about it sa vid ko about dost-sei if you'd like to watch hehehe 😊

I think walang exam dun but may specific criteria sila to accept you, check mo nalang rin yung info sa website nila, nakalink sa description hehehe. Most probably magtratrabaho ka sa library and as assistant sa lab technicians, based sa kwento ng friend ko dati 😊.

hi! as far as I know hindi naman na tinitignan yung grades nung elementary hehehe. Then for scholarship magmamatter lang yung ranking mo nung graduation (top 1 or 2 of shs batch) ;)

The amount covered by dost is 40,000 / year, so hindi literally half hehehe. You can get other scholarships outside or inside (academic) inside ust basta ma-approve ng admin and kaya mo tugunan yung requirements 😊
For the Santo Tomas Scholarship, yes... that's the first requirement for you to be eligible, but for the other types it's not necessary but you generally need to have good grades para sure 😅

Hello! I'm not sure tbh kasi select colleges lang din within the univ nag-aaccept ng transferees, I think it's best to contact UST's Office for Student Affairs regarding that hehehe. Or if sa dost naman you can apply during second year for you to get the scholarship starting from 3rd year. Hope that helps 😊

And actually, pag Santo Tomas Scholar (Top 1) ka, covered lahat pati miscellaneous (at least nung shs ako ganun sakin). I only paid for our recollection (150) nung may scholarship ako, kahit yung field trip covered ng scholarship skl hahaha.

Yup you're qualified naman as long as you're part of the top percentile of your non-STEM strand. If STEM student ka there's no issue with ranking, you can take the exam either way.

Depende ata siya sa ilalagay mong home address, parang ilalagay ka nila sa pinakamalapit na testing center based dun, kasi I was studying in manila when I applied, pero sa province ako nagtest :)

Hello! Unfortunately you can only take the dost exam once and the result is final :(. Regarding the DOH exam naman, I think it's okay kasi magkaiba naman sila, but if you have a scholarship from doh, di ka na pwede kumuha sa dost since one government agency per student lang based on their guidelines.

Hi if you're pertaining to the santo tomas scholarship, it's only for the top 1 and 2 of the batch. If sa dost, you can apply as long as you're a stem student, or if you're part of the top percentage of your non-stem strand (it's safe to say naman na top4 is within that percentage)
the dost scholarship ended na eh :(( unfortunately di ako naka apply kasi i didn't know HAHAHA im an upcoming senior high student for the year 2021 - 2022, so i was literally hoping for a scholarship but i do have a gwa of 93-94% which is still not enough ig :((

I already received my application receipt from UST and if I'm going to be qualified kailangan po bang mag pa reserve agad ng slot? What month po ba usually nagoopen for scholarship application?5k po yung reservation fee and it's announced na the results of USTAR will be given this coming April. I'm just going to rely on the scholarship lang po kasi d naman po namin gaanong afford yung ganong tuition fee per sem. If I did reserve a slot po kasi tapos d po ako nakuhang scholar sa santo tomas scholarship baka masayang lang po yung 5k since it's not refundable.

Hello po, kakaqualify ko lang ho ngayun sa UST under ChE for AY. 2022-2023. But i am unsure if i will take it mainly because of financial reasons. If i were to take the Sto. Tomas scholarship ho bu i have two questions:
1. I am the top 1 when i was on grade 11 batch-wide, and i wonder if the Sto. Tomas scholarship is applicable on my standing on Gr. 11 or in Gr. 12? (We are expected to graduate on July, and i am not sp sure if i still am the top 1 now in gr 12😅)

Hello! I actually came from a relatively small private school here in my province. The scholarship exam during my time was similar lang din to the ustet, pero nagbago na kasi yung ustet for the newer batches so I'm not sure of the difficulty of the exam na.
It's okay to be scared of not passing but if you put in the work naman and you truly did your best to prepare, there's still a possibility that you'll pass! 😄

Hi! You'll apply for the scholarship before classes start, pero for incoming freshmen nauuna kasi yung enrolment before the scholarship application. So kahit magbayad nalang muna ng downpayment then if full scholarship makukuha mo you'll just need to request for a refund later on 😊 (This pertains to the academic "santo tomas" scholarship btw, kapag galing sa external sources depende na sa kanila yun hehehe)

Hi! The scholarship exam and application is after the release of your ustet results (it was in my case). So you'll apply when you graduate pa kasi one of the requirements rin naman is to ask your current school for a certificate that proves that you graduated as top 1/2. Goodluck!!!

To be completely honest, I wasn't able to review specifically for the DOST Exam, the knowledge I had at the time was from my preparation for CETs, so I guess I can say it's similar to any college entrance exam, but it's more focused on analogies if I remember correctly.

As of now the scholarship I'm aware of is the Santo Tomas scholarship, which requires you to be a Valedictorian/Salutatorian of your shs batch to apply.

Hello! If I remember correctly, waived siya if kasama ka sa top students coming from a private school. You only need to show proof of your last completed year, i.e. if G12 ka ngayon you need to show you grades from G11.

Hello! Like I've mentioned in my videos, the scholarship exam during my time is like USTET 2.0 similar concepts and things to study pero siguro mas specific lang yung ibang questions and wider nang onti yung scope. But the coverage is still based on what was taught naman during hs-shs 😊

It depends sa scholarship scheme mooooo. If yung Santo Tomas (Academic) Scholarship, 100% walang babayaran na fees if valedictorian and 50% naman kapag salutatorian ka ng batch mo. The amount covered by dost is 40,000 / year, so hindi literally half hehehe. You can get other scholarships outside or inside (academic) inside ust basta ma-approve ng admin and kaya mo tugunan yung requirements 😊

For the Santo Tomas Scholarship, yes... that's the first requirement for you to be eligible, but for the other types it's not necessary but you generally need to have good grades para sure 😅

Yup you're qualified naman as long as you're part of the top percentile of your non-STEM strand. If STEM student ka there's no issue with ranking, you can take the exam either way.

Hi! If this pertains to the santo tomas scholarship, ang tinitignan lang nilang standing is yung sa graduating batch niyo. If sa dost naman, only non-stem students are required to be part of the top percentage of their batch para makapag-take sila ng exam.

Hi! I'm sorry pero I'm not familiar with AA Green Scholarship, pero malalaman mo ranking mo by asking your school's office, sabi ng friend ko hihingi ka ng certificate/letter na sinasabi nila na part ka ng certain top% ng batch niyo ganun as proof :)

Hello! Unfortunately you can only take the dost exam once and the result is final :(. Regarding the DOH exam naman, I think it's okay kasi magkaiba naman sila, but if you have a scholarship from doh, di ka na pwede kumuha sa dost since one government agency per student lang based on their guidelines.

Hi if you're pertaining to the santo tomas scholarship, it's only for the top 1 and 2 of the batch. If sa dost, you can apply as long as you're a stem student, or if you're part of the top percentage of your non-stem strand (it's safe to say naman na top4 is within that percentage)
the dost scholarship ended na eh :(( unfortunately di ako naka apply kasi i didn't know HAHAHA im an upcoming senior high student for the year 2021 - 2022, so i was literally hoping for a scholarship but i do have a gwa of 93-94% which is still not enough ig :((

Hi! This incoming school year di muna tatanggap UST ng San Lorenzo Ruiz scholars based on their website (link in description). But everything I know is also just in their website since di ko rin naexperience scholarship na yun hehehe.
