Thank you for also filming the less "styled up" trucks, you can see some of the drivers actually smile knowing that even though they aren't in a nice styled truck, they are getting appreciated👌
Absolutely fantastic lads, went from Hull to Rotterdam with North Sea Ferries in 1978, delivered a load of repaired books! In The Hague. Geez you would need eyes in the back of your head to drive that junction 😂😂. I got up right away and done the birdie song dance when I heard that horn, brilliant so it was, couple of strange units pulling boxes there! Was it a Ford, honestly couldn’t tell ya. Once again lads, just a fantastic video, thank you for sharing this with us auld yins. Kind regards, Johnny
You must have some amazing stories from your time as a driver Johnny! Yes it's a very busy junction there, and that was filmed between 17:00 and 18:30, can only imagine what it's like at peak time! You're right in saying there were a couple of Ford units in there, and as @damanayadekunle7232 said there was also a BMC Tugra which is Turkish. Also the birdie song was our highlight of that day 😂 Glad you enjoyed. Kind regards, A&F.
good quality recording, nice to be able to enjoy trucks in 4K ;) one thing that might add to the quality is a circular polarisation filter, it adds a little vibrance and contrast while also taking away a lot of unwanted reflections in glass (windscreens, lights, etc.)
Hello, this video was recorded when we were on holiday, we are now back home in the UK so we're not able to go to these locations... but luckily for you we did go to the A67 near Eindhoven, and that video is releasing tomorrow evening :)
Dat is grappig, want wij komen eigenlijk uit Schotland, en die Scania Torpedo op je profielfoto is elke zondag in onze stad om zeevruchten te verzamelen!
@@erka001 thanks!!!!, I'm a truck driver in Mexico and was curious because I haul semi-double know as full sometimes weighing in at around 80ton. With type H or A dolly. Max speed is a crawling 70-80 kph depending on the road.
@@rickyalcoser6052 Nice! Up in Scandinavia it's 60t because they have a lot of space, not that crowded and dense as most of Europe so most of them roll with truck+dolly+semi-trailer. Same here with speed, engines are limited to 85-90 kph
@erka001 luckily we are not governed I drive a kenmex kenwroth Engine: Caterpillar 6 cylinder, 14.9 L, 500 hp Transmission: Eaton Fuller 13-speed manual We go slow because of the weight, we climb a lot of mountain leaving out of Sinaloa and head to Mexico city with tomatoes or whatever load is destined for the central distribution hub there. But we haul general freight, from single 75ft reefers to dry van to those big wooden trailers to haul vegetables or whatever needs to be transported, we have no drive limit, so sometimes we are at the mercy of the time of receiving, I have driven 29hrs 45min to deliver a load I picked up from Mexicali and brought it all the way to Oaxaca. That's why sometimes there are nasty accidents and the buses are almost the same but they sometimes have two up drivers.
@@rickyalcoser6052 Wow, respect man! That's hardcore. But I'm kind of happy for the regulations here because of more safety and less exploitation of drivers.
Hello. I will buy my own truck very soon and start this business. What do I need to do to work at the port of Rotterdam? Could you please tell me if you know?

Thank you, we like to film as many trucks as we can

Excuse my ignorance but what is the max weight a single axle truck can haul, and what is permitted to haul on European roads?
Normal gross weight is normally 40 tons. So around 24 tons net load. Above that is generally special permit.

Hello. We're just enthusiasts, we don't know the exact details of what you need to do to work there, sorry
