If I can say, I'm a Betosky-addict, I watched most of his videos and I can only thank the effort he puts in to teach us the tips and tricks to improve our gameplay. I personally would highly appreciate videos on how to counter such heroes like Martis or like the previous one where we could find out that Gloo can be easily countered by Faramis. Thank you again for your hard work.

When you look at Kratos, you just know this guy is an absolute tank! Phoveus with tank build is also the same.
Martis in the right hands is extremely deadly already, but getting him fed in the right hands is nearly impossible to comeback from. (also day 1 of asking betosky to play julian jungle/exp lane)

Martis is easier to counter when the support has dominance ice. I thought legends would know this by now, but from time to time, ive seen 0 anti regen items from my loses. Ive learned it the hard way: when u soloq, expect nothing from your team.

Way before martis got his passive overbuffed, ive always been the only one playing jungle martis, he just fits the role very perfectly for the most amount of snowball u could ever think of way better compared to karina, and this really shows his true power

I still prefer playing martis in exp lane. The reason is that he can sell the boots at late game and get another item. My build goes like this: bloodlust axe, blade of despair, queen's wing, dominance ice, athena's shield and lastly, replace the boots with endless battle (that way, he could have 319 mov spd with assassin emblems). The def items can vary depend on enemies' composition (but queen's wing is a must) . Also, if it was late game and enemies got a lot of physical def then I would replace bloodlust axe with malefic roar. As for battle sell, my fav is petrify, but if the enemy team has kimmy then I will use sprint; execute is good but I don't recommend it; also flicker is good but martis can't do a set like tigreal with it so I only use it to escape if the enemy team has lots of mobility heroes.
The effects of queens wings is super mediocre tho cause 1 the spell vamp won’t even be that much to make a difference especially when enemy builds antiheal and u can also get more damage reduction from items like antique and radiant but I guess queens wings could work sometimes just would never be my go to for items for him also the cd of the passive is wayyy to long compared to antiques

@@olamidedairo5350 my reason for using queen's wing is I think it works well with martis 2nd skill. As for whether it's dmg reduction can stack with his 2nd skill to reach 80%dmg reduction or not, idk, but I want to believe it can 😅
for the queen's wings, he is actually refering to the damage reduction. martis' 2nd skill has massive 60% damage reduction and an additional dmg reduction for the queen's wings when it's passive triggers. well its kinda make sense.

Not really. But even with the heroes he’s not good with, his macro makes up for it and still wins the game
Martis is my most comfortable pick from the last up to this current season, he can dominate from early to late game, he's a balanced hero, can counter many heroes and also can be countered as well. He is also a versatile hero, can occupy almost all lanes or roles in the game.

@@buddxd No intelligent martis player will face heroes like lapu thamuz and so on 1v1. You probably faced people who didnt know how to use him. He is not a 1v1 hero, he will die. He is a finisher, unless built tanky.
4:04 I'm pretty sure the cooldown of the 2nd phase just starts when u use the 1st phase. I think it's the same u have to wait till the 2nd expires or the skill's CD, I maybe wrong tho.

Still prefer martis over karina any day. And you don't really need the killing spree talent because his ult gives tons of movement speed. You can use festival of blood 8% spell vamp and you won't need bloodlust axe or better jungler emblem and build him tanky items, he can still deal damage while being tanky.

Was playing martis from long time and is my main , was playing him when he was overshadowed by meta and was not that good , getting buffed made me happy but I didn't know he came with a buff and auto ban feature 😭 . Even I renamed my name to only ashura while playing him lol

Playing heroes with Martis, Karina, Gloo, and Zilong is very satisfying when you get a kill, your skill CD gets reset and can allow you to hunt more.
I'm on mytic II, and before this martis meta, i never use him. But since this season, every time martis is unbanned, I always pick him and at level 4, at least I got triple kill, he is the real monster of early-mid game rn.
I started maining martis 2 years ago. He was never good but that recent buff made him the god of war and I'm boosted up to 70% winrate

Btw martis is not that scary until he openhis ult on some one and in a teamfight but if you picked thamuz or any good early exp lanr uou can kill him ad make his gold lower by frezzing the lane

Martis is a beast with tons of true damage potential and CC immunity. I always build the new version Twilight Armor (with limit of 600 damage). I think thay works in current version.
