With child stars, I think there's always an adult behind them, telling them what to do. It's the adult's 'thing', the kids can then follow it no problem, and with the added gimmick of being young, are a great way for the adult folks to exploit him.

Not to say he couldn't improve over time, but right now his mediocre (at best) skills don't deserve the attention, money, and big time gigs he gets. Kids like DJ Sara and DJ Ryusei are much more deserving
