He is calm, down to earth, accepting individual who cares less about his strength while Yujiro is feared, hated and admired by many and has shown that he cares for no one except himself. I think that is why Yujiro is stronger than Yuichiro, not because of his strength but because he has such a strong warrior mentality, it frightens even the most strong willed

I think he was scared cuz he was a ghost as well. Same thing with jack, he couldn't understand how he came "back". We've seen possessions, and spirits in the series. Yuichiro is dead, and i believe yujiro killed him.

I think the whole thing about Hanma blood is that it forces each generation to be stronger than the last one way or another, or at least try to be. I have a suspicion that Yuichiro is physically stronger than his son, but Ogre is just overall a better fighter in all regards.
I mean Yuichiro is physically stronger, just the way he handled those soldiers in the island and the ship shows that he's superior in terms of strength, he tossed them around like a ball easily while yujiro used some explosive at some point, but in terms of techniques, yujiro stands on top

When yujiro said they were opposite it wasn’t to do with strength it was to do with yuichiro allowing himself to lose for money whereas yujiro would never let himself lose…I doubt he is as strong as yujiro but still probably stronger than every other character we have seen including baki

Is Yuchiro viewed as weak because of not reacting or not caring ? I don't think he necessarily cares what happens to him because he knew what he was capable of. It's always the calm and reversed characters that are portrayed as the most intelliget/strongest/most powerful. The more relaxed the face is drawn, the more confidence is meant to leak through. [THEORY] Yuichiro Hanma was the last person to give Yujiro “The Ogre” a challenge. I think the reason behind Pickle's fear of Yuichiro might just be pure strength, it is pretty obvious that Yujiro is the most skilled fighter in Baki considering the fact that he can master techniques just by looking at them, although he might just know all. When talking about Pickle, it has been stated that he has the most raw strength in Baki, based off of this information it could be possible that although Yuichiro may not be as skilled as Yujiro he could be a lot physically stronger than Pickle and that might be the reason behind the fear. I personally don’t think Yujiro is stronger than his dad. People might think that just because he bothered to learn martial arts but knowing him I doubt he’d use it in his fight and if he did he be the loser even in his own mind. I think Yuichiro is in fact stronger then Yujiro. Although I do doubt they had a "Real" fight. Considering yuichiro’s amount of muscles. He is more of a tank guy, so his strength and defence is probably higher than current yujiro. Yujiro will indeed grow more stronger in the future surpassing his father in every way possible because of his personality.
I just want to point out that the actual name of the technique is not dress, Yujiro himself says that the true name was lost in translation and that the true name of his technique was known as "Guise".

I just took his character as being to strong, he does not take anything serious; nothing he has experienced can match him. there are theorys that he did not activate his demon back when his son Yujiro attacked him. He didnt activate it to troll his son, which resulted in him being killed. Yuchiro was actually a projection made by Yujiro, much like when Baki imagines opponents and others can see it. Yujiro is projecting the one person that he must take seriously
Another thing to point out that during his fight with Baki, Yujiro says he has never experienced tragedy. This would rule out a lot of the more obvious fates of Yuichiro, such as him dying prematurely, him never getting the chance to fight against him, etc.

How pickle reacted in pure fear once he felt his presence 3. How everybody reacted once they saw Guise technique 4. To me the prime Doppo Orochi is the one who mastered the ultimate Seiken the technique that he named the bodhisattva fist, against Shibukawa Gouki. Don't want to watch the video but still want to know how strong is he? Well, he is stronger than Baki but we do not know if he is stronger than Yujiro. However, we can assume that he is at the very least equal to Yujiro or the closest individual to him due to his "guise" move which even Yujiro acknowledged was something worth bragging about. I like to think that yujiro is tying to be like his father. In the flashback of yujiro with Mohammed Alai he says how he strives to beat guns, misses, tanks and whatever he says. At this point in time yuichiro had already beaten the USA and yujiro is trying to be able to best any country, showing how his goal is to beat the strength of his father. I think the reason yujiro was mad at yuichiro was because he knew he hadn’t yet matched the strength of his father. Just my ideas

Heres my take. I feel like yuichiro is stronger than yujiro because he has more muscle *and* the demon back, so he got the fighter genes. Something "Just a guy without a mustache" has noted, yuichiro has his demon back active every time we see him. Yuichiro also does the talking which has been mentioned too many times. Anotjer point to add is that yuichiro is a judo fighter, so if he is as strong as yujiro, yuichiro has to be physically stronger than yujiro, but have less techniques. Mentally, yuichiro is stronger no doubt. To be that strong and not show it off requires some willpower. He's humble. And that makes him more mentally strong than yuichiro.

I really hope we get more feats of Yuichiro in the future, from what I noticed, he seems to have his demon back activated at all times, which is scary to think about.
I am really interested in getting to know more about Yuichiro. Through him we might get to learn more about what the deal with the Hanma bloodline is.

I think the whole thing about Hanma blood is that it forces each generation to be stronger than the last one way or another, or at least try to be. I have a suspicion that Yuichiro is physically stronger than his son, but Ogre is just overall a better fighter in all regards.

Yuichiro Hanma was the last person to give Yujiro “The Ogre” a challenge. Thinking in context to Yujiros life he came probably came to the conclusion only a blood relative can give him the thrill he’s been looking for since his father. According to the video The Ogre and his father were complete opposites. Gearing me to believe Baki Hanma might be a direct reflection of his Grandfather Yuichiro. Possibly further clearing up the fog on why Yujiro decided to go about this father son relationship with his son?

I think the reason behind Pickle's fear of Yuichiro might just be pure strength, it is pretty obvious that Yujiro is the most skilled fighter in Baki considering the fact that he can master techniques just by looking at them, although he might just know all. When talking about Pickle, it has been stated that he has the most raw strength in Baki, based off of this information it could be possible that although Yuichiro may not be as skilled as Yujiro he could be a lot physically stronger than Pickle and that might be the reason behind the fear. Though as with all theories this should be taken with a grain of salt

I think Yuichiro is in fact stronger then Yujiro. Although I do doubt they had a "Real" fight. But Yujiro saying he's the strongest creature on earth is 1 of 2 thing's. 1) He's the current strongest creature bcus Yuichiro either is dead and or chooses not to be involved in such thing's and can careless (which clearly show's when he took a dive just for money and that he was happy someone could recognize how strong he truly is without fighting him) or 2) is the title he gives himself that other's also agree to bcus no one has bested him (on panel) yet and he clearly can back up said claim. It's no different from someone calling themselves the Champ or King while backing it up until they finally lose.
I also think Pickle is a very good indicator of how strong a fighter actually is, Yuichiro is no different. When Pickle first met Yujiro he wasn't even worried in the slightest and when the two fist bumped Pickle saw a T-Rex and smiled. Later on when Yujiro and Baki were fighting Pickle was getting ready to intervene and he was excited and happy to fight Yujiro despite clearly seeing what he's capable of. Yet...the very moment Yuichiro pop's up (without wanting to fight just to be there and talk for a sec) Pickle IMMEDIATELY started shielding his head in fear. This is to big of a thing to ignore especially since he didn't even do anything close like that when Yujiro was standing in front of him off first meet.
True we don't have Pickle's imagery perspective but considering the main event is Yujiro finally fighting Baki the last thing you need is something taking that attention away and ruining the rest of the spectacle. I just took his character as being to strong, he does not take anything serious; nothing he has experienced can match him. Yujiro quark is all techniques are useless tricks, yet his father made and mastered moves even Yujiro can't deny. The flaw is Yuichiro was not given a serious martial artist to fight, the five ninja army are fodder to Madara the real fight is one man the First Hokage.

there are theorys that he did not activate his demon back when his son Yujiro attacked him. He didnt activate it to troll his son, which resulted in him being killed. So he died to not give his son the fight that he craved so much. Which made Yurijo the guy he is today. Thats why Yuichiro also appeared as a ghost to troll him again and also its a theory that he was the unknown person who twisted the door knob harder then Yujiro.

Another thing to point out that during his fight with Baki, Yujiro says he has never experienced tragedy.
This would rule out a lot of the more obvious fates of Yuichiro, such as him dying prematurely, him never getting the chance to fight against him, etc.

I like to think that Yuichiro was stronger than Yujiro, For me theres 4 things that indicate this. 1. How Yuichiro was talking to Yujiro
2. How pickle reacted in pure fear once he felt his presence
3. How everybody reacted once they saw Guise technique
4. How Yujiro was talking and reacting to Yuichiro
I like to think that theres force beyond what we see first in Baki. Maybe, MAYBE, there is a demon who is just stronger than what we’ve seen so far. I hope even if it’s through a flashback that we see more of his strength in the future.

It could really be anything he was afraid of, true. But why convey it onto page if all it is is him getting scared over seeing a ghost? What does that convey to readers about Pickles response to Yuichiro? Nothing, so in my opinion I’d rather interpret that Pickles fear has something to do with Yuichiro.

Edit: Anything else said is just head cannon and theories, like my personal opinion, which is that Yuichiro is stronger due to the fact that he was even able to manifest his spirit like that or the fact that he recognizes Baki as a child, whereas Yujiro has recognized him as someone worth fighting. Back to the ability though, as far as we know, Yujiro has not come close to that with the most he can do is create imaginary food and appliances, etc. However, to reiterate the previous part, this is my opinion and is based solely off of like two or three sentences of dialogue so its basically shit, but it's my shit, so don't come at my opinion unless you are good at shit talk

I like to think that yujiro is tying to be like his father. In the flashback of yujiro with Mohammed Alai he says how he strives to beat guns, misses, tanks and whatever he says. At this point in time yuichiro had already beaten the USA and yujiro is trying to be able to best any country, showing how his goal is to beat the strength of his father. I think the reason yujiro was mad at yuichiro was because he knew he hadn’t yet matched the strength of his father. Just my ideas

Heres my take.
I feel like yuichiro is stronger than yujiro because he has more muscle *and* the demon back, so he got the fighter genes.
Something "Just a guy without a mustache" has noted, yuichiro has his demon back active every time we see him.
Yuichiro also does the talking which has been mentioned too many times.
Anotjer point to add is that yuichiro is a judo fighter, so if he is as strong as yujiro, yuichiro has to be physically stronger than yujiro, but have less techniques.
Mentally, yuichiro is stronger no doubt.
To be that strong and not show it off requires some willpower.
He's humble.
And that makes him more mentally strong than yuichiro.
