I was having trouble with the app pulling the info for my brokerage holdings with Merrill. It turns out they give the option for both Merrill Edge and Merrill Lynch and using the Edge version was the culprit. Once I linked as Merrill Lynch it synced and showed me as eligible almost instantly. 👌🏼
Be aware read the fine print.
"anyone cruising on a reduced-rate or complimentary basis are excluded from this offer"
We used to receive this OBC but on last sailing using a deal they sent us on their website we were denied.
We always sail on reduced fare that they offer or we do not go.
We always book cruises on heavy discounts as well and never got denied. The pvp we use stated that wording is for group rates, travel agents, casino deals, etc. i wonder if you just had a mistake in denying it for you.

How do you submit another stock statement if the previous was out dated?
After I click on plaid and verified phone numbers and selected Ameriprise and I get an error message account settings are incompatible. Now what?
Now the Broker Connection says Automatic can't be used for Fidelity, Edward Jones, or Ally. Have to choose manual statement upload which takes longer. Don't wait too late!!!
Great point, I’ll have to submit mine earlier for our cruise in October since we have Edward Jones.
Can we use the manual feature to eliminate the privacy concerns, even if our brokerage is Merrill? Would feel safer that way. And would we simply pretend it's Fidelity/EJones, or Ally?
It’s very secure, otherwise Carnival wouldn’t advocate for them but I’m sure you could. I have not tried though so unfortunately I’m not sure. I would contact them and see though if you have concerns.

Unfortunately no, that would fall under discounted rate.
Your quotes for what OBC people receive needs more detail.
The $100 on a 7 day cruise (for example) is $50 PER PERSON with both people on the brokerage statement and booked in the cabin.
That is incorrect directly from the shareholder letter. “Onboard credit per stateroom on sailings of 7 to 13 days” $100. You get $100 for the cabin not per person if that makes sense. However if you book 2 cabins on a 7 night cruise you would get $200.
Can confirm that sailing on a casino rate will not get the credit.
My husband and I own approximately 1,000 shares of carnival stock. On our next cruise we booked 2 rooms. It’s a 5 day cruise. Will we get $50 OBC for each room?
Yes, the OBC is for each stateroom as long as the persons who own the shares are on both bookings.
