My guess is that in-universe the skill names are supposed to be in a different language than the language they're actually speaking so that's why nobody knew what "Revive" meant and why they'd sometimes say the skill names in [brackets]
the world kinda implies there should be somewhere in-universe a dictionary defining all the different things, too
especially because they, like, literally have menus and stuff. tbh I want to see a fantasy-with-video-game-mechanics world actually go into detail and explain why and how the world has menus and stuff like that

There is one more chapter where the main guy decides to leave, promises the saint and the archmage he will write to them, forgives the guys who betrayed him, and goes off on an adventure with the girl he was talking to in the beginning.

This is read out like a kids essay that needs more words to be long enough “quoted” “articulated” “said” “asked” “questioned”. It’s annoying to hear the AI voice read it out like that, especially “quoted” that’s the most odd word to use to tell you a character said something unless they are actually quoting a line or phrase from another character.

This is a weird one, unless his revive skill only can activate when he dies. Her skill should normally kill him, but if his skill auto revives him. Them holding hands probable enables him to target other things, hence why he seemingly need her. This theory cant be confirmed unless the mc gets killed though.
Oddly enough there is another manga out there where the MC has the ability of revive or rather restoration that automatically activates whenever he dies as well as use it to revive anyone they choose. However, this one works completely different from that one.
