The name of serial is "osmancık" and dated 1988, amongst hundereds of historical movies and serials before this government... I am not Turkish, and completely agree with your comment Akubaker Khalifa. What you expressed is exactly what I have mentioned to many friends and family in Australia. This series is the best I have ever seen...... even with the subtitles. It is very inspirational and has given me such a huge understanding and respect not only of Turkish history but also of the Muslim religion. Be very proud.

Absolutely! I couldn't agree more. I would get so excited while watching the show with my mom. I'd yell at the TV like a sports match was going on lol
I got so emotionally invested in this series to the point where I felt like I was part of their tribe.
I'm glad that it was so long too because I couldn't get enough of it.
They need to keep making sequels to it. Once Osman is finally finished, they need to keep going to the next leader, generation after generation

I really like the character of Suleman Shah as a father.He is the man of vision,having good character and posses the qualities of a leader should have.Besides,he always request good to his sons and is a very justice loving person..
When Turgut was suffering because of the Templar's poison, he used to say he doesn't have much time to live, he went on to live the longest. Aykis, who was concerned that her fiance might not live long, was the first to die.
