This is my bucket list of my dream visit of Indonesia, Maluku Utara which is have a city, a former capital of Ternate, named after the municipality of Ternate in Cavite which is established in 1663 and I hope to visit Indonesia soon

Sorry to correct you, but I think it's quite the opposite. It named Gapo in 13th century but because the center of government of the kingdom located in kampung Ternate. It's called sultanate Ternate by the people hence it's called Ternate till present. It's this kingdom are the destination of Magellan, to try bypassing the Arabs for the nutmeg and clove trade whereas the single source of that commodities are in Banda islands and under the influence of Ternate sultanate. I don't know where you got your facts from, but you need to learn more about that Magellan voyage since it's quite fundamental for the history of modern Philippines, it's well documented.

First of all look at the view in the begining of the video. Who wouldn't be happy living in such a beautiful place. Secondly you don't have to be the smartest or know everything in life in order to be happy. In fact happiness have nothing with it at all and sometimes knowing too much is in fact a burden in life. You just need to know enough to handle what life throw at you will suffice already. Finally you need to have a good heart and be proactive in life when something happen so that you can help yourself and the community you are in. Sometimes which alot of city folks don't know how to do. They just wait for others to deal with problems and complain instead.
I like this kind of places. I often go for extended holidays in beautiful places like these and met similar farangs who have the same feelings too.

Life can be very simple if you want it to be so. Life can also be very complicated and messed up if you want it too. It's your own choice and your own will.

Even without beautiful scenery and you are trap in a concrete city. You still can be happy. Not by stepping on others to reach the top. That is but only one way. The other way is you need to have connection, cohesiveness and harmony with the place you live in. Things you need to actively preserved and cherished rather than throwing it away. The moment you feel estranged from a place you are in trouble already. You need to made peace with yourself and the people in it.

That's why it's called 'developing'. if everything is perfect, it's not developing anymore.
People are also happy because there is real progress to a better life, better economy, etc... and this is happening all over Indonesia, but North Maluku is the most progressive among all... 27% growth is crazy.

"The Happiest Province" here is based on an annual survey by Indonesia's Central Statistics Agency so it's for Indonesia's own internal use. It's certainly not a paid advertisement, what would they be advertising for? Trying to lure Singaporeans to North Maluku? The place is so far away from Singapore, going there from the Little Red Dot is akin to going to Australia. I doubt Singaporeans would come in droves after watching this 🙄
