I guess that Xperia really fell off in 2016 like the description said. I have an E1 and an E4 which both share the same boot animation. they still work fine but they have a really nostalgic charm to them, like playing minecraft: pocket edition in 2014/5 on the E1, and some other stuff before, but that was the most nostalgic by far.
Sony UI in 2014 was amazing! I have used Z3 with 4.4.4 and theme was beautiful just love this ui. Sony just broke their phones when they came to the clear android - this was mistake. Thats why many people just stopped to buying sony phones

Xperia is my dream phone, my first xperia is xperia tipo, it's entry level so i don't bothered by lack of feature and camera quality, and my second xperia is z2, i really love the ui and design, but i really disappointed with it, for smartphone that produced by reputable multimedia corporation it was lack of all of it, low loudspeaker and headphone volume, dim screen and flashlight, lack of camera features, picture quality lose to mid-end samsung phone, get overheat when playing game or video, fragile glass backdoor, but it was quite fun to mod it has lot of options to choose in community, maybe it because they're frustrated by lack of feature. Now Xperia is changed to better, and i want to buy it again but sadly they're withdraw from my country market
I have xperia x series and its broken the camera the flash and front camera not working and some charging issues and battery dies like in 10 minutes when its 100% but its still power up and work lol
