Video's like this really benefit from a text/verbal commentary at key moments to give a short explanation of the whys and wherefores. It's still entertaining, just a bit numb to stop the video and research what went on before continuing.
This channel is great, no unnecessary chatter, no pulling silly faces and telling stupid jokes, no bippity-boppity dance music and other unnecessaries that distract from the make. The focus should be on the creation and personality expressed through the piece IMHO. Yet another MASTERPIECE btw 👍👍👍
By far the most beautiful knife I’ve ever seen. I’ve binge watched every video multiple times lol. Such an amazing person. Love how he never wastes materials unlike other youtubers.
Excellent end result! Making a sharp knife is easy but making a really beautiful knife is hard. I enjoyed the handle making processes very much. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work!
Beautiful knife! For stabilizing, after you release vacuum, you should let the wood soak for a while longer. most of the resin is absorbed after the vacuum is released, while the voids in the wood try to refill.
Jesus Christ, I would love to have such knife. Beautiful. Just read the description. It doesn't look unfinished. It's a really fantastic effect I rarely see!
Ive been watching your videos for some time now. This is by far the most beautiful of them all. Congratulations, im now subscribed yo tour channel, bell ringed and all.
Amazing as usual but I think it's time you start putting a makers mark on your work, it's so beautiful and people need to recognize your skill! Great job, looks fantastic, love your technique with the tang and dowel for the handle!
That was amazing mate, it's just a piece of art you just made, the only thing I wanna see is to make your blade out of the forge not just cutting a piece of metal, thx for the great work again

so blackbeard, you were heat treating the blank and used some kind of powder on it before you sealed it in foil, what was the powder and why did u do that ?
That was a nice knife. My i ask what steel you recomand if you only hade a propan forge fore knifes like that. I was thinking 52100. Thanks for sharing
Please!! What is the scraper/epoxy spreader tool? I've tried looking it up but don't know what's it's called. Where are they available? Super cool project 👍

What kind of tomato was that, it looks great. Beautiful knife, as always.
Beautiful work my friend! I really like the stacked handle.
It's the little things you do, the extra details you put in these, I think are the reason I watch every one. Awesome job!
Simple but elegant. Your uncle is a fortunate man.

Restorations, building them up from zero and filming it like a pro, man you give me back my hope for mankind! Thank you.
It's a beauty mate! You show so many processes that I need to try out! :)

Knife making is the most satisfying thing i've seen on youtube for a while

It's regular talc, used to prevent the stainless steel foil to stick to the blade!

might have been overkill, but seems like putting some grooves in the tang would have added to the strength a bit. I really liked the dowel idea.
You're actually making me laugh with all the "speed hammering"!😂
Beautifully done sir
Beautiful craftsmanship.
Wow.. I can watch you working on projects for hours non stop. It's very calming as well. Thanks.

Great Job, just one question, shouldn't Japanese knifes be sharpened on one side only?
El metal base que usas al principio es de algún tipo especial, que ancho y espesor tiene la chapa base? Gracias
What is the powder you put into the foil packet? Great video BTW! Very inspiring!
House / Work Talc I think, I’m sure it’s used to stop the tin foil sticking to the blade.
Lavoro eccellente come sempre.
Davvero stupendo👍🏻
Come al solito ottimo lavoro! Un rasoio :) posso chiederti che cosa hai usato per fare la guarnizione alla pentola per il sottovuoto al minuto 6:53?
